Churches have nothing to do with politics. The people who make up the Church do. People can be as vocal as they want politically. Folks complain about Sharia law, but will then advocate for the churches to be able to be involved in politics. Its the exact same thing.

You said he used EO's to make law. Then you say he didn't make law, but used it to make law? Man stop with the double speak. You said it and you were wrong. Just admit it. Actually the supreme court made homosexual marriage legal. He did push for it though. Stop with the almost made us a mostly muslim country. How were we damaged by homosexuals being able to get married? They now have access to benefits that they pay for. I personally don't see a problem with that. While I didn't think that them needing to get married should have been the answer they now get access and their union is seen in the courts as binding which is what was needed to access the benefits of marriage that they wanted.
