Shaul was proud. Then someone prayed for him. God answered that prayer. Others didn't repent. God is perfect in judgment, perfectly righteous and just. There's no spot nor wrinkle in Him, nor is anyone proud, any liar, any pervert, any thief, allowed in His Kingdom. ((except they likewise repent)). God is merciful and just, perfectly.

All through Scripture, what God said, His chosen one(s) said. That's how it is TODAY, also, but very rarely recognized or seen on earth. Only those He's chosen ever see and hear this Truth. The world, listeners as if they could hear, are left out , like those on whom the tower fell, unless they likewise repent.

Remember Esther and God's Word to her - if she did not do what was needed, He would find another to do it, to deliver the Jews ? So far , most of those mentioned would fit that description - if they had not , God would have chosen another, as He is well able to. But who is unique ? Who was the only one God called out of the whole pagan world ? There was no one else who could take his place .....

The time to make a choice is TODAY. Not some time in the future. Most people have already chosen. ((and not well nor good))
