I don't either. Because it just doesn't add up as to how they could get hold of her to do so. Besides that, what she apparently doesn't realize is if that is true, the federal government can find that out as well. Because those too are illegal. And if she's lying, I'd hope that would be exposed. She's playing the victim because she thought somehow the country would rally around her? No one in their right mind thinks that video was comedy. Especially in the age of ISIS terrorism where they do the same thing for real. And to children! CHILDREN! Nor have I ever seen anything like that. It was bad enough when it made news that different men were arrested carrying guns to an Obama rally or speech when he was in office. One was carrying concealed during I think Obama's first Town Hall. And the guy was wearing a tee shirt with an excerpt from the Thomas Jefferson quote. The tree of liberty being refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots? Yes, that's the shirt to wear to not bring attention to yourself. Leftist playbook is right. The poor me play. She's being held accountable for her actions and she can't handle it. And her face in that video wasn't one of humor, it was somber. It wasn't humor. Decapitation isn't funny. Yeah, this isn't about movies. This is about real life. Link the Obama decapitation video news report in this thread please. Or the other death threat video made against Obama. Thanks.

Love you too Kwik. My Jesus Praises dance buddy. Unfortunately, it seems like the celebrity community has arrived at the idea there is a barrier of protection that divides the law of the land. There's that which prosecutes the common people, their "fans". And there's that which overlooks legal trespass and allows celebrity to buy their way out of most offenses under the law. Unless they're so egregious that that would be impossible to pass off. It's an us and them dynamic. Like O'Donnell's now coming to Griffin's defense. No real surprise there. They're both committed to the same offensive rhetoric when it comes to Trump. And O'Donnell's personality is so caustic her career is choppy for having been fired from every gig she's been contracted to. Years ago Rosie was on the anti-gun bandwagon. As was Griffin. Back then the us and them, barrier of division between the common people and the celeb's was the gun issue. Rosie stomped the anti-gun rhetoric claiming no one should have the right to own a gun. Then the news broke that her family bodyguard had applied for a concealed carry permit from the state of California. That's when it became news that the people she and her supporters like Griffin , who ended up later with armed bodyguards after she was threatened by a soon to be ex-husband, were the common citizen. Not the rich. The celebrity. If this isn't prosecuted either under the cyberbullying statutes or the U.S. code violation being she threatened the life of the sitting President, that wall of protection is going to have flags flying from its top. Because I have seen the video. And that display was exactly reminiscent of what ISIS does in the ME. The only thing missing was a machete held aloft in Griffins left hand. It was graphic! And impossible to miss it was the effigy of Trump. It was a message! It wasn't comedy.

She'd be arrested before that. Or at least in protective custody. She said in that video that she's received death threats. How does the average person contact her? I wouldn't know how.I wouldn't want to know how. But she's getting death threats? Maybe they're people that she knows giving her information out without looking like they oppose what she did. Because otherwise how does anyone know how to contact a public figure for such evil behavior. And they're doing this, supposedly sending her death threats , unless this is her playing the victim to the Nth degree, to show they oppose her making a death threat against President Trump? That makes sense. If it's on social media where this is supposedly happening, she should just close her accounts. Why give an outlet to weird people because you're an unstable public figure who just threatened the life of the President of the United States? And then play victim thinking the Trump family is out to ruin your life. Right! Kathy implied someone should end Donald's life. And ruin his family's life for the grieving that would ensue. Rosie O'Donnell availed herself of the opportunity to side with Griffin. And after she apologized for her ridiculous attacks on Melania. What is it with lesbian hate speech performers under the delusion they're comics? Honestly!

Did you watch her rambling press appearance? I think the Secret Service scared her with the facts. Why else would she hire Lisa Bloom? If they don't prosecute Griffin this is going to open up the floodgates What do you think the timeline would be for arrest if she had committed to producing this same type of terror threat stunt while wearing a white pointy hood, with a cross burning behind her, and slowly raised the effigy of Obama's head up to the camera?

Trump's detractors hate that he's married to a beautiful woman who gave him a find upstanding son. They're married in the eyes of the law. And in the eyes of God. Those whom God hath joined together let no man tear asunder. Let the objections to those facts proceed among the Ekklesia? Who would really dare call God wrong in this?

Bill Maher uses the 'N' word on national t.v.
PlanetChee replied to MorningGlory's topic in U.S. News
I think it would be a great day when the black community stops using the N word among themselves as a term of endearment. While then claiming white people using the word is racist. Electing to be offended by a pejorative when white people utter the same one those offended use in good humor is racist. Maher has always been a horrible example of what passes for entertainment on TV. He demonstrated demonic insensitivity after "The Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin passed away. And in the media so that Irwin's young grieving children and widow would see it in the news. He's an atheist who has no problem vocalizing contempt for the religious. His failings are many so what is one more? Oh, news! That's what. -

Did Paul Have a Woman as His Pastor? (Charisma News)
PlanetChee replied to PlanetChee's topic in Defense of the Gospel
WOW! When Paul says God told him to tell us we are all one in Christ, there is no male or female, and Paul had what today would be called pastors serving his church, even home pastors that were ultimately martyred, murdered because the woman pastor /wife was targeted for execution, and that's Biblical recording of history. I'm not the one that wrote the Bible that shows God calls women to preach. The excuse that "pastor" isn't in scriptures back then doesn't mean pastoral commitment and calling wasn't recorded in scriptures back then. It was. It is indefensible to argue God discriminates when God has told us he's no respecter of persons. Which means he doesn't see one as greater than the other. It isn't calling out error to see the scripture as written and hold to that and then have those opposed because of their preference to express gender bias and transfer that as God ordained, and then interpolate scripture to coincide with those persons own gender bias. The error is to commit to that when what can't be erased are the passage after passage of women in service to God, and in authority over men in scripture. At this point I don't have to say a word to defend The Word that recorded He called women to serve. And be in authority over men. It's all in the scripture. People who wish to twist those to sustain their gender bias do so before God. And everyone sees. -
Griffin not 'laying down' for Trump, fears career is over LOS ANGELES (AP) — Embattled comedian Kathy Griffin says she's not afraid of Donald Trump and plans to keep making fun of him but maintained that she's sorry for a video that depicted her holding a likeness of the president's severed, bloody head. At a rambling press conference Friday, Griffin tearfully predicted her career is over and said Trump "broke me." Since the video was posted Tuesday, she has lost her job co-hosting CNN's New Year's Eve special and had all her upcoming comedy shows cancelled. Trump, first lady Melania Trump and Donald Trump Jr. have publicly criticized the video. Full article and Griffin appearance She's not laying down. She's "sorry" for the video she pre-planned and produced and hired the videographer for. And she's going to keep on against Trump. And she fears her career is over. But she's going to keep making fun of Trump where? If she has no career platform to perform on? Boy, that's contrition for you.

Imagine where you'd be right now had you done this in a life Facebook feed. Not here posting, that's for sure. In comparison, BING search results: citizen arrested threats against obama Remember reading about some of those? Griffin's now playing the victim She did the math and realized what this terrorist stunt cost her in loss of venues and appearance contracts.
-
It's not treason. People who hate Trump will defend Griffin's actions every time. She did what they themselves don't have the courage to do. Imagine how hard Hillary laughed when she saw this video. Notice she hasn't said a word? This is a violation of Federal law. It isn't protected free speech. But Trump's detractors will claim it is. The SS prayerfully aren't persuaded by partisan bias so as to abandon their lawful duty in this matter. 18 U.S. Code § 871 - Threats against President and successors to the Presidency "... or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both." There's no relevance whatever to the LBJ SCOTUS case and Griffins violation. She's actually prosecutable.

Well remember now, Obama implemented the law that Bush43 signed during his term that made buying regular light bulbs, manufacturing them, illegal now. All that heat the standard bulbs is bad for the environment. That's why there was invented the CFB's. Compact Fluorescent Bulbs. Much more "green". That's why if you break one in your home or the office it becomes a toxic environment that the EPA has to be called to. Because those twisty cutesy "green" bulbs contain mercury vapor! Toxic! Lethal. Get kids and pets and elderly people, and asthmatics, out of the area fast. Lobbyists. They can sell D.C anything. And the rest of us pay.

Did Paul Have a Woman as His Pastor? (Charisma News)

Personal attacks are against the rules here. I'm not confused one bit. I see very clearly who you are. Now, will you prosecute the rules against me because you can? Being above them yourself? As you prove when you slander my faith, attack my beliefs, write your own strange perspective into it , and then call me names? And then feign sympathy for my misunderstanding of what you left in print? And target me for posts like this? It's God's word. If you and others are against women pastors, that's not anyone's problem. God calls. People judge. -
Amen! There is a movement in America now, inflated by the racist antics of BLM, that you notice has dropped out of media spotlight after having incited mob's to violence and murder? One that sends the message we should apologize for being white. And revisionist history that rescinds the truth of slavery bolsters their resolve to blame the Caucasian community for all that ails. Did you see the Al Sharpton DNC speech when he, a tax evader owning millions even during Obama's administration, and Obama knew this and welcomed Al with open arms to the White house, when he was running for the office of President? He heralded the praises of the Democrat party and said, "we'll ride this mule for as far as it will take us". What poor Al doesn't realize is all their ailments they're now blaming on whites was started by that Democrat party. But truth can be an allergy to a separatist racist movement like that which Al, BLM, and the students of our future in this most recent article, promote.

Excellent. The more that pray for Yowm the better. -
The movie Avatar has nothing, even by inference, to do with the Book of Genesis. It's underlying theme off planet was that of anti-Imperialism and pro-pagan-nature Communist modeling.

Actually, denying God's sovereignty is that. An example being second guessing his calling of those whom he will to ministry. -
Years ago there was a black professor making the media rounds saying that very thing. Blacks can't be racist because in order to be racist you have to have power. He was giving an excuse and a platform at the same time for black racism. And anyone who's been on the receiving end of that knows how it feels. It's just as ridiculous as any other race hatred expressed against the community of choice.

She violated Federal law. If she's arrested the press should be there to film the whole thing and her trial should be broadcast to the world and the Net. Demonic acts like hers should be smashed asap. As it is, calling for our Presidents beheading should land her in prison for as long as possible. My idea of a perfect sentence would be life. With all her assets seized.

Where did God come from? - The answer to a frequent question
PlanetChee replied to eugenelester's topic in Apologetics
Your own variant of an answer. Any such thing would be a variant of the truth. No mortal knows where God came from. For me that's wondrous and how it should be. Human's are so bad with what we do know already, we should be humbled remaining unaware of that one part of our reality. -
Jerry Seinfeld spoke last year about how Liberal university campuses are brainwashing kids there. His daughter attends one such campus. She came home on break and her mom asked her if she'd met any boys, meaning was she dating. Her daughters reaction was to call her mothers question sexist. Can you imagine what would have happened had the race been reversed in this latest story? Ballistic! Comes to mind.

Now Griffin's latest media appearances has her blaming the First Family for the backlash. Of course! The bully plays the victim. Trump's 12 year old son Barron saw that. While his father was away from home on America's business. And she's said she's going to make more fun of Trump now. And his 12 year old son is not off limits. If cancellations keep up, I wonder where she's going to keep this up at? 18 U.S. Code § 871 - Threats against President and successors to the Presidency (a)Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both. Long overdue time. I'm waiting for the next accusation to be that his youngest child isn't really his. This level of smear is really pathetic. And getting worse. And what is really on display in the media responsible for this is lack of respect or concern for the fact they're attacking before the whole world the First Lady of the United States of America. And they think it makes her and President Donald Trump look bad. That's not the case. It makes our media look like they're in a close relationship to tabloid trash.

Yes. What should be brought forth is that those civil cases aren't relevant to a federal violation. But when arguing from that standpoint we have to recall this case which, when arguing from the other case standpoint claiming Griffin won't be arrested, this case would repeal that claim and make it likely. This case concerned two effigy figures hung from a crossbar in order to send an opposition message in 1966 to then President Johnson. Hanging effigy's were not deemed entitlement under the first amendment. This case is closer to what Griffin did with a severed head, effigy, of President Trump. State v. Butlerotte this Case 455 P.2d 4 (1969) The United States Supreme Court held in Terminiello v. Chicago, 337 U.S. 1, 69 S. Ct. 894, 93 L. Ed. 1131 (1949), that a speech which merely "stirred people to anger, invited public dispute, or brought about a condition of unrest" may not stand, and stated at page 4, 69 S.Ct. at page 896: "[A] function of free speech under our system of government is to invite dispute. It may indeed best serve its high purpose when it induces a condition of unrest, creates dissatisfaction with conditions as they are, or even stirs people to anger. Speech is often provocative and challenging. It may strike at prejudices and preconceptions and have profound unsettling effects as it presses for acceptance of an idea. That is why freedom of speech * * * is * * * protected against censorship or punishment, unless shown likely to produce a clear and present danger of a serious substantive evil that rises far above public inconvenience, annoyance or unrest. * * * There is no room under our Constitution for a more restrictive view. For the alternative would lead to standardization of ideas either by legislatures, courts, or dominant political or community groups."
