  1. You asked for a verse, I provided it. Wheather you think it's a false teaching or not is up to you. Moses venerated the Cherubim just as I venerate Mary and the Saints.
  2. Psalm 2:7 is a prophecy about Jesus, so it's still talking about Jesus Christ.
  3. They venerated it though, same thing I do to Mary and the saints.
  4. Doesn't prove solid evidence of the link between the Catholic rosary and paganism.
  5. I'm not sure the Roman Catholic Church had influence in seventh century Islam. Not to mention the Papacy is the one who called the crusades. Again I said I'm not Catholic nor do I agree with all catholic doctrines I only replied to this threa in response to the accusation of idolatry if I have icons or statues.
  6. If Allah had willed to choose a son, He could have chosen what He would of that which He hath created. Be He Glorified! He is Allah, the One, the Absolute. Qur'an 39:4 Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth; How can He have a son when He has no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things Qur'an 6:101 So now stop playing and answer my question, is Allah incapable of creating a son or is he capable but not wanting. I was born Muslim, but I left Islam when many of your so called scholars couldn't answer questions like this.
  7. I was born Muslim, but I left Islam when many of your so called scholars wouldn't answer questions like this.
  8. Only Jesus is reffered to as the only begotten son of God.
  9. I can easily say you only know what our pastors tell you, but it is not a strong argument or valid in this discussion. By the way please look to the division in Protestantism before you talk of obstacles between me and my lord. And I'd like you to name me how many different sects their are of Protestantism.
  10. The Jews and the ark of the covenant and Moses and the Cherubim yet Moses didn't worship them he venerated them.
  11. Muslims adopted the prayer beads when they came into contact with Christians, Hinduism and Bhudddism aren't defined religions with doctrines they just adopt beliefs from religions they come into contact with and pick and choose what to follow, so I can easily say it was them who copied it from the Catholic Church. Also you need to provide historical references which directly link pagan prayer beads to the Catholic rosary. You need to show somewhere in history where Catholicism literally took the pagan idea and incorporated it.
  12. Christ is our God not our friend to have a relationship with.
  13. It's still not the same word, veneration means to give praise and or respect. Venerari is not the same word as veneration.
  14. Be He Glorified! He is Allah, the One, the Absolute. Qur'an 39:4 Wonderful Originator of the heavens and the earth; How can He have a son when He has no consort? He created all things, and He hath full knowledge of all things Qur'an 6:101 Listen to your Quran, one verse says he can have a son but is above such things one says he can't make a son even if he wanted to since he needs a consort. What a confusing book.
  15. We don't replace the saints as mediators they share in the mediators I pray of Jesus Christ. Pagan goddesses never functioned the way Mary functions in Christianity it's a completely different concept. There was no forgiveness of sins nor rosary. Real relationship? That's heresy my friend we don't talk to Jesus like he's our buddy as the head of these so called Protestant Churches teach. http://www.dictionary.com/browse/venerate?s=t http://www.dictionary.com/browse/worship?s=t look at the links for the difference of worship and veneration.
  16. You didn't answer the question, can God create a son without a consort or does he need a wife first? By the way the Bible doesn't say she was impregnated that's what the Quran says Qur'an 66:12 ومريم ابنت عمران التي احصنت فرجها فنفخنا فيه من روحنا وصدقت بكلمات ربها وكتبه وكانت من القانتين فرجها means her genital part this verse is basically saying that we blew our spirit into her vagina? And just in case you try to play around with the meaning of the word فرج: Dictionary Word Meaning Google Translate:الفرج (Al-Farj)vagina Babylon.com:الفرج (Al-Farj)n. pussy, vulva, relief TranStar:الفرج (Al-Farj)vulva SYSTRAnet.comالفرج (Al-Farj)the pussy Translated.net:الفرج (Al-Farj)vulva ImTranslator.com:الفرج (Al-Farj)vulva Ectaco:الفرج (Al-Farj)
  17. It's the same reason Elizabeth called her mother of my lord. She is the vessel which birthed God as a man, therefore making her the physical mother of Jesus Christ.
  18. Google the difference between veneration and worship, stop deceiving your self. If all images and statues were graven images then God wouldn't have told Moses to make images from which to venerate.
  19. Another contradiction is that Allah says he needs a consort yet was able to create a son for the Virgin Mary without a consort, seems to me the Virgin Mary is more of a God then Allah.
  20. You play around the question as most Muslims do, I know Allah doesn't want to have a son but my question is if he can have one without a consort or is he in need of a consort in order to make a son. Is it in Allah's power to make a son, but he chooses not to or is he incapable of making a son even if he wanted to without a consort? I'll leave you to answer this golden question.
  21. That's what we mean when we say mother of God or Theotokos which means God bearer, I don't mean Mary is his literal mother who birthed him, she just birthed him in his incarnation as a human so there's no problem calling her a Theotokos which means bearer of God or Mother of God so long as we mean she birthed Jesus Christ as a human.
  22. “Why should I be honored with a visit from the mother of my Lord?" (Luke 1:43). Theres no historical evidence the rosary was used by any religion prior to the Catholic Church.
  23. In I Kings 6:23-36; 7:27-39; 8:6-67 - Solomon's temple contains statues of cherubim and images of cherubim, oxen and lions. God did not condemn these images that were used in worship. From these we know for a fact at-least in the very beginning Jews used images to help them in prayer or worship. According to Luke Jesus prayed in the temple in John 12.
  24. Because its not a graven image, neither are icons we just venerate them, as Moses venerated the Cherubim.
  25. Not according to Elizabeth or Christian theologians and scholars throughout history.
