since i went on the rides at our canada's wonderland and didn't get the adrenaline rush i was looking for...i have been wanting to try anything that involes heights. i see mountain climbers and hikers and all of that and i get soooooo jealous cos i wanna do it too. i hope i get the opportunity to do so before i grow grey and old and too frail to do anything :upsided:

wow melanie..that is such a moving testimony. it scares me to think that my mom and dad are gonna go too some day. whats even scarier is that they have not made Christ their personal lord and saviour. this is so sad. i am so happy for you that you went on that date. not many people are as blessed as you were to have that last date with the ones they love. i have heard so many testimonies which almost always end in.."i wish i had told her more often that i love her" or "i wish i hadn't done this or that or wasted so much being angry at her".

people like me hear these kind of things a lot but we never do anything about our relationships with parents. its mostly due to fear of that awkwardness. i pray that someday i will do what i wanna do and what i am supposed to do with both my parents. thanks again melanie for such a beautiful thread that has made me think. although u did scare me in ur first sentences. i was like "what kind of freaky marriage is that??" :LOL:

i just started watching auto racing yesterday and i have to say .... its totally AMAZING!!!. too bad i only had the chance to watch the last two hours of the molson indy (any canadians??). i will def be watching the nascar in the future... great sport

i am probably one of those poeple who love tennis but have no-one to talk to about it :t: its unfortunate that Mr Williams is like that and its even sadder that there are many others out there like him. i would like to say though that Serena and Venus are not their dad and they are very good players who have amazing spirits. it would be unfair to base our like or dislike of them based on what their dad does/says or whatever. i know there where probably many who were quite happy with serena's upset in france a couple of weeks ago. the poor thing ended up crying. what was my point again :upsided: ummm. . . oh yea, i was saying. . .buh forget it, i don't remember where i was going
