well...that's twice now.  Posts back to back, posted two minutes apart, two posters obviously typing at the same time with no knowledge of what is on the other's heart....focused on the exact same passage of Scripture.

    I don't believe in coincidence.  :)

That appears to be at *least* three of us on one track at the same time.  Sounds like maybe some one is coordinating our efforts?   lol....it sho' ain't me :)

Good to meet you @ForHisGlory37     :)  I have met @Heleadethme though we haven't stopped bouncing long enough for a formal introduction :)  Great to meet you both :)

Nice to meet you too Jostler!  I saw that we had written the same thing.  I don't believe in coincidence either! ;)  Nice to meet you too Heleadethme!

It will be the worst of times at the end...but also I believe the best of times. (think it was Churchill who coined that phrase).  Have a look at the book of Esther and see if you see the parable, regarding the last days...Haman as Antichrist, and God "arming" His people.  Test this, but it might be that the Lord is going to pour out, so to speak, the "balance owing" of the earnest of the Holy Spirit.  Somewhere in the midst of tribulation or near the end of it I believe, haven't grasped the timing of everything.  (But beware of counterfeits before then though....not to mention the STRONG delusion itself.  If it comes without tribulation I would beware of it.)  The Lord bless you as you search and wait on Him.

Romans 5:20-21   20Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.

You are so right Heleadethme!  I believe as sin abounds in the wicked, the Grace of God through the Power of the Holy Spirit will abound to the believers to stand firm to the end!  We will be walking in great power of the Holy Spirit!  Many will come to Christ as the church truly will be the purified and spotless bride through the Great Tribulation.  And we will truly see all the gifts of the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ our Lord be made manifest like the early church in Acts.  These signs, and wonders will help to draw the unbelievers (Mark 16:17-18).  But of course the ac and the false prophet will also be showing their counterfeit lying signs and wonders.  But we will also have the Two Witnesses proclaiming the Kingdom of God!

      Read Mathew 13:38-43

    38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

    41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

We believers will suffer persecution and tribulation but will not be affected when God is pouring out the plagues and bowls of wrath upon the wicked.

Revelation 16:15  Behold I come as a thief.  Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

    blessings,

We have been in the last days for 1,968 years give or take a few. Several things have to take place before Jesus returns.

But if you are sober and watching, you will notice that we are very close to those times.  We are the last generation.  Israel exists.  The temple is about to be built.  God has been gathering the Jews from all over.  Knowledge is abounding.  Look at all the earthquakes that have been happening more and more frequently.  Redeem the time.  I say BE READY, not get ready.  God is going to shake everything.... the testing of our faith is coming.  Are you going to be one of the wise virgins or like the foolish virgins?  Jesus is coming soon!  Repent!  Purify yourselves and proclaim the Gospel of the Kingdom!

For the last month I have this uneasiness that God is up to something and I seem to be weeping a lot and can't control it. It's like a switch turned on in my spirit

and can't turn it off. I was just wondering if anyone can explain it and if this is just me and are their more people experiencing this same filling.

This is just me, but I believe that you are grieving for the wickedness going on, the apostasy that is present, and it says in Scripture that the whole earth is groaning ....

    Romans 8:22-25

22For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. 23And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. 24For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

We are in the last days, get your house in order, seek the Father while there is still time, redeem your time, fill your time with things that will have eternal value.  Be ready, judgment is coming.

No matter how much you want a thing it will only be so if it is so ... and if you were an honest person what you read occurring in Scripture, as to the power of miracles displayed, are not displayed in our present assemblies... it is self evident by examination which many do and report back!

Just because you don't see it occurring in your assemblies doesn't mean it's not happening around other parts of the world.  It is because of the lack of faith.  We believe in the supernatural power of God raising Jesus from the dead.  We believe in the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit yet you cannot believe that He can operate today and by the Name of Jesus heal, raise people from the dead.  These manifestations of the Glory and Power of God is happening in places where the Gospel is being preached for the first time.  Maybe you need to examine why you don't see these miracles and healings displayed in your church enoob?

Those who take the MoB are deceived into thinking that he is God because of the signs and wonders he performs.

    • And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast, telling those who dwell on the earth to make an image to the beast who had the wound of the sword and has come to life.  Revelation 13:14

Those people don't see taking the mark and worshiping the image as "renouncing the name of Jesus."  They're deceived.  Esau wasn't deceived into giving up his birthright.

This is not gonna fly either because Jesus said, "MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE"   Those who know the real Jesus is not going to be deceived by the father of lies.  God ALWAYS GIVES US A WAY OUT, He always gives us free will, He is not going to allow us to be deceived into taking the MOB.  We will definitely know what taking the MOB entails so your feeling that this is something that you can be deceived into taking and repenting of it, totally GOES AGAINST SCRIPTURE.

I'm sorry but this seems quite harsh. I wonder if there is precedent in scripture for repentance when one worships images or idols to false gods. Nothing comes to mind but I bet there is an example.

I find the whole idea of 'never able to repent of an action or behavior' distasteful and not in keeping with scriptural truths of love, grace and mercy, nor the many examples of repentance of sin. As far as I know only one sin is unforgivable and that's blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, not taking the mark and worshiping an image.

I don't think that you feeling that this is harsh or distasteful will make any difference when you are standing before GOD and having to explain yourself to HIM that you took the MOB (EVEN though it says in Revelation 14: 9-11 not to take the MOB)  and thought you could repent from it.  IT AINT GONNA FLY....

WE CANNOT GO ON  FEELINGS BUT STAND ON THE WORD OF GOD.

  8. Hi Evanna!  Welcome to Worthy!  I too walked away from the Lord a long time ago, in my early 20's  but the Lord always was waiting right there for me to come back to Him.  Read the story of the prodigal son.... That is like how Jesus is always waiting for us, looking for us and runs to meet us when we are ready to come home.  He doesn't condemn us, He just is joyful at our return and loves us oh so very much!  I am sure that that is how Jesus sees you, wanting to come home and He is waiting to take you in His arms and celebrate with the Host of heaven at your return!  If you need a friend, you may pm and I would love to chat!  :)

Note that it said the father RAN to meet his son, in the Jewish custom, men just don't do that,  culturally it was not appropriate but God shows us that is how full of love He has for us and is overjoyed for us when we come back to Him.

Jesus is calling you.....you've taken the first step.  Keep going forward.  ❤️

    Luke 15:11 - 15:32

Now viewing scripture range from the book of Luke chapter 15:11 through chapter 15:32...

    Luke Chapter 15

11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:

12 And the younger of them said to [his] father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falleth [to me]. And he divided unto them [his] living.

13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous living.

14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land; and he began to be in want.

15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.

16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine did eat: and no man gave unto him.

17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son: make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put [it] on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on [his] feet:

23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill [it]; and let us eat, and be merry:

24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found. And they began to be merry.

25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

27 And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him safe and sound.

28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

29 And he answering said to [his] father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

30 But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

31 And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

Worshiping the image of the beast and receiving the mark of the beast is committing the sin of idolatry.  Idolatry is not blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.  According to Jesus, it will be forgiven.

    • Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.  Matthew 12:31
    • Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter; but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.  Mark 3:28-29

That fact alone should disprove the "sealed fate" notion of receiving the mark.  Make no mistake, those who are deceived into worshiping the false prophet and receiving his mark are the objects of God's anger as described in Revelation 14.

    • Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger."  Revelation 14:9-10a

The purpose of the plagues is to convict the deceived people that they've made an error in judgment and should repent of worshiping the false prophet.  It is not until late in the progression of the plagues that it is first mentioned that people don't repent.  If people can't repent of the mark, why even make mention that they don't repent, and why late in the plagues?  The only people who's fates are sealed are those who refuse to repent as Revelation 14 continues to describe.

    • "And he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb.  And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”  Revelation 14:10b-11

A cursory word study will show that the verbs "worship" and "receives" are both in the present, active tense.  This passage describes the fate of those who refused to repent.

I think the whole "sealed fate" notion stems from the idea that receiving the mark only describe a one-time action.  There may be an initial receiving of the mark but the mark also allows for an ongoing receiving of its benefits, buying and selling.  It will be utilized as often as cash and cards are today.   I think that's why "worshiping the image" never comes up as sealing one's fate, because people recognize the ongoing nature of worshiping and that such an ongoing activity can be repented of, or stopped.  There is also an ongoing aspect to the mark that can be repented of.  I've never heard anyone say that the first time you worship the image that you're fate is sealed.

Acknowledging that sin is forgivable does not advocate engaging in sin.  The mark and the image should be avoided at all costs, even if it means forfeiting one's mortal life, which is very likely.  To continue Revelation 14:

    • Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.  Revelation 14:12

When one takes the MOB, they are renouncing the Name of Jesus and not trusting in Him.  Also, when you take the mark, you are forfeiting your soul and the deed to your eternal security.  Just like Esau who forfeited his birthright for a bowl of soup.  Once he lost the blessing, Isaac could not give him the blessing even though he wanted too.  Taking the MOB is saying you trust in the devil and not Jesus.  Once you take the MOB, One cannot and will not worship Jesus anymore.  You won't be able to repent from it either.  That is where God draws the line.  If one takes the MOB, one cannot help but worship the beast.  That is what I think you don't seem to understand.  Once one takes the MOB, there is no turning back.....

I may have just misread it as well originally.  Regardless, I am encouraged you see the same thing I do, your thread in many ways mirrors some that I have posted in the past.  I believe that hour of trial that we are gone for, is the trial by fire that is spoken of by the OT prophets for Israel, specifically Zechariah saying that the Lord will personally bring the 1/3 through the fire.

I'm not sure if I understood you correctly, are you saying we are not here for "the hour of trial"?  I believe that the fire is going to purify the Church, the bride.  That is why when Jesus comes for the Bride, we will be so white, so pure, and without blemish!!!  :D

Our faith will be put through the fire and purified.  It won't be pleasant but Oh, we must think of our reward in heaven!  And the people who still haven't taken the MOB will see the glory and power and beauty of Jesus and there will be a great end time harvest when many come to faith in Jesus!!!  Praise The Lord!

I was also a pre-tribber for most of my life, probably for the same reasons, but roughly seven years ago I began to see things quite differently in scripture.  I agree with what you see for the most part, in particular regarding Revelation 16 and the announcement that He comes as a thief.  This is when the gathering takes place, but one slight variance is that you stated this happens in the middle of the wrath, whereas the scripture you cited occurs near the end, after the sixth bowl/vial.

I see what takes place after this as the final hour, which is spoken of frequently.  For example, Jesus tells us in the gospel accounts that no one knows the day, or hour.  There are also several other places on the subject that speak of a very specific hour, such as Revelation 18, and this one, which is often used to support pre-trib, but actually speaks against it when taking all the information into account.

Revelation 3:10  Because you have kept my word about patient endurance, I will keep you from the hour of trial that is coming on the whole world, to try those who dwell on the earth.

Another area of interest is in regards to the harvest.

Revelation 14:14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and seated on the cloud one like a son of man, with a golden crown on his head, and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, calling with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, “Put in your sickle, and reap, for the hour to reap has come, for the harvest of the earth is fully ripe.”16 So he who sat on the cloud swung his sickle across the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 Then another angel came out of the temple in heaven, and he too had a sharp sickle. 18 And another angel came out from the altar, the angel who has authority over the fire, and he called with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, “Put in your sickle and gather the clusters from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.” 19 So the angel swung his sickle across the earth and gathered the grape harvest of the earth and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood flowed from the winepress, as high as a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia.

So we see in the harvest of the earth, the wheat is gathered, followed right after by the tares, which coincides with the information regarding the battle of Armageddon.  You may have already concluded this as well, other than the specific hour.  Besides this slight difference, we are of the same opinion.  Not quite post-trib for me, but only an hour separation.

    God bless

Thanks Wing-nut....I guess I should have said in the "middle of chapter 16 which is about the wrath of God being poured out"  :) .... I will try and edit that part.  But, most definitely we will be here and I believe we will be bold, on fire for the Lord, not scared, and definitely hated by the rest of the world!

Why are we told of the status of people's repentance if its already a foregone conclusion that they can't repent because their fate is sealed?  Why even mention repentance at all during the plagues unless that was a reason for the plagues?

This is because there will still be many who are sitting on the fence.  Trying to decide, that's why we have the two witnesses proclaiming truth.  That's why the Saints, the elect are still here to proclaim the Gospel for the end time harvest.

    Revival in South Korea

In 1900, only 1% of the country’s population was Christian, but largely through the efforts of missionaries and churches, Christianity has grown rapidly in South Korea over the past century.

In 2010, roughly three-in-ten South Koreans were Christian, including members of the world’s largest Pentecostal church, Yoido Full Gospel Church, in Seoul.  -- Pew Research

    In 110 years ... went from 1% to 30%!

    ... continuing ...

Hi George, I'm not saying that your statistics are wrong, but I'm not sure I agree with three in ten South Koreans are Christian.... I am Korean.  I came to the US when I was 4 ....but I still have many relatives living there.  My parents had many sibling and almost all of them are NOT Christian.  I watch a lot of the culture stuff that comes out of S. Korea and it seems that they are sadly following after the post -Christian lifestyles and thinking like the US.

I also was disillusioned about the Koreans who called themselves Christian because they were so materialistic and fake in their walk.  I saw that in my own church when I was growing up.  The Korean churches here in the US would set up elders as a prestige and they were not godly people!  I don't know a whole lot of the churches in Korea but the culture and thinking there is more Westernized.  There are many who live in sin now, abortions, lots of adultery.  Before, if one committed adultery there, you could get arrested.  Not anymore....  so I hope that I am wrong and those statistics are correct.

  14. Hello everyone,

I went along and  believed in the Pre-Trib rapture because I just went along with what the preachers said.  I was guilty of not studying the Word and asking the Lord for His wisdom.  Well, a few years ago, I heard someone on youtube talk about the post-trib rapture.  So of course I had to do some investigating and the Scriptures that she gave were Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.  I also asked the Holy Spirit, to show me truth.

One night I just could not sleep so I went into a room and opened the Scriptures.  I was studying all night and the Lord showed me that we were going to be here.  We needed to go through the tribulation and that it would purify His Church, the Bride of Christ.

I believe we will be here to the end.  There are many verses that exhort , "He who endures to the end".

I believe a little differently than most Post-Tribbers.  I believe that we will actually be here while the plagues and bowls of God's wrath are being poured out.   But we will be supernaturally protected while  the plagues and wrath are being poured out,  we will be raptured, while the wicked are facing judgment.  Everything, the rapture, the judgment of the wicked will be happening simultaneously….So bear with me, while I present my case.

Matthew 13:37-43 King James Version (KJV)

    37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of Man;

    38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

    41 The Son of Man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of His Kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Matthew 24:31 King James Version (KJV)

31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds(should say from the four corners of the earth…mandela effect), from one end of heaven to the other.

Revelation 14:15-20 King James Version (KJV)

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-5 King James Version (KJV)

But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.

For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.

For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

So we are told that we will the know the times and the seasons but not the day or the hour.  We are told that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night BUT YE, BRETHREN, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS, THAT THAT DAY SHOULD OVERTAKE YOU AS A THIEF.

We who are awake and sober, will be ready.

Revelation 15 is about the Seven Plagues

Revelation 16 is the Vials of God's Wrath being poured out…..

Revelation 16:1-16 King James Version (KJV) Vials of God's Wrath being poured out…..

16 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man: and every living soul died in the sea.

And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

14 For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon.

Right in the middle of the vials of wrath being poured out of this chapter, Jesus comes like a thief!!!

But we will be supernaturally protected like the Israelites in Goshen during the plagues in Egypt.  Or Like Noah and his family on the ark.

Revelation 6:6 King James Version (KJV)

And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

The Holy Spirit is the oil and the wine.  We have the Holy Spirit as believers in Christ Jesus.  The Holy Spirit was not taken out of the way by leaving, He merely stepped aside to let the ac come into power, to allow God's Will to be done.  He is still present because God said do not hurt the oil and the wine, aka Holy Spirit.  (I will provide that Matthew 25-The Parable of the 10 Virgins as a reference of the oil being the Holy Spirit)

Revelation 16:15 is a good indicator that Jesus is coming to get us at the very end.  We will be caught up in the twinkling of the eye while judgment is being poured out on the wicked.

I have more…but this will have to do for now…. I welcome your thoughts!  But I just have one thing more to say. I still love all my brothers and sisters in Christ who believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture.  If Christ does come to get us before, then HALLELUJAH!!! PRAISE GOD!!!  BUT IF NOT, WE SHOULD ALWAYS BE PREPARED FOR THE WORST.  SO THAT WE WILL BE A TESTIMONY UNTO JESUS!

  15. Can someone please help me with the statement from the KJV   him that pisseth against the wall means?

I just don't believe that God would be using that particular word and just doesn't flow with the KJV writing style....

There are at least 6 passages with this statement, that I don't find in other translations.

1 Samuel 25:22 So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall. (KJV)

1 Samuel 25:34 For in very deed, as the LORD God of Israel liveth, which hath kept me back from hurting thee, except thou hadst hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisseth against the wall. (KJV)

1 Kings 14:10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man taketh away dung, till it be all gone. (KJV)

1 Kings 16:11 And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he slew all the house of Baasha: he left him not one that pisseth against a wall, neither of his kinsfolk, nor of his friends. (KJV)

1 Kings 21:21 Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel, (KJV)

2 Kings 9:8 For the whole house of Ahab shall perish: and I will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel: (KJV)

  16. Cletus, I think I am going to try growing sprouts!  I just got a book and it seems simple enough.  I shall prepare it for next year's winter.  I will have to make lots of room on my window and have my hubby make some shelves!  I will have to give you the name of the book I got!

Year-Round Indoor Salad Gardening .... I bought it through abebooks.com or thriftbooks.com... it was cheaper than amazon

Prophecy from 2Thes 2:3 happening now.

In 2 Thes 2:3, the Apostle Paul warned that " Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come except there come a falling away first.....

Well, it's happening now.....And in a big way.

“Between 6,000 and 10,000 churches in the U.S. are dying each year”

"America is littered with thousands upon thousands of church buildings that aren’t being used anymore.  As you will see below, between 6,000 and 10,000 churches are dying in the United States every single year, and that means that more than 100 will die this week alone.  And of course thousands of others are on life support.  All over the country this weekend, small handfuls of people will gather in huge buildings which once boasted very large congregations.  At one time, America was widely considered to be “a Christian nation”, but that really isn’t true anymore."

"Today, less than 20 percent of all Americans attend church on a regular basis."

"just 10 percent of all young adults were “religiously unaffiliated”, but now that number has jumped all the way to 39 percent…"

"We are living at a time when there is a mass exodus from the Christian faith in America, and it is likely going to take something quite dramatic to reverse that trend.

In 1776, every European American, with the exception of about 2,500 Jews, identified himself or herself as a Christian. Moreover, approximately 98 percent of the colonists were Protestants, with the remaining 1.9 percent being Roman Catholics.

Not only did early Americans identify themselves as Christians, but nearly all of them regularly attended church.

Now our society is moving very rapidly in the exact opposite direction, and many believe that this has tremendous implications for the future of our nation.

You can read the article here:

    http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/between-6000-and-10000-churches-in-the-u-s-are-dying-each-year-and-that-means-that-over-100-will-die-this-week

If these statistics really are true, my heart is heavy and very grieved.  It makes me want to sob for our nation!  O Lord have mercy on us!  There truly will be only a remnant.  I say that not with pride but with great sadness and mourning.  :'(   ?

  18. Praying!  Yes, The Perfect Love of the Father casts out ALL FEAR!!! AMEN and AMEN!  May the Holy Spirit encompass around you and your pets.  May the joy of the Lord be your strength!  I saw that you have an orange kitty 1to3!  I love orange kitties! They are my faves!  We have three orange kitties, Nemo, Emmet, and Totoro.

    blessings!

I appreciate the quotes defending that Scripture always said "wolf and lamb" here, but neither explain how everyone remembers "lion and lamb." Where did "lion and lamb" lying together originate, and why is this what everyoen recalls?

Hi Nebula, the two go hand in hand....can't explain without the other.... sorry.

My physical Bible is paper and ink.  What is contained inside is holy and perfect.

You say there are MORE Christians pointing out where the Bible has been changed and we should compare?  All the more reason to pitch the Bible in the trash, if what you say is true.

Hitler burned Bibles and so have countless other people.  That doesn't stop Bibles from being printed.  The Bible is the most highly published non-fiction book of all times.  Billions of copies.  So Hitler burned a few thousand.  He didn't make a dent.

How do you trust anything you read in your Bible if you believe the content has been altered by the devil and that Christians should "compare"?

Truly, how do you trust the Word of God?

Here's what I believe.  1 Peter 2:1 says that the words that these men wrote down were written down as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.  The Bible is "Holy Spirit - led" words.

You said we have to be led by the Holy Spirit.  Well, then.....open your Bible and read his words.

Jesus is the Word, He shall never pass away, nor can men distort, change, or destroy.  I read my Bible Jayne.

Are you sure your not just remember it wrong?  As we get older our memory is not always as it use to be you know.

LadyKay, I assure you I am not remembering wrong.  When you memorize a verse.  You remember it... just like the Lord's Prayer.

Remember too that God gave us a sound mind, and that we have the Holy Spirit who helps us to remember
