I was on board with "flattening the curve" for a couple of weeks. Interesting you brought up NYC. What was going on there? Masks have proven to be almost useless, so that isn't what eliminated the hugely stockpiling body count. And what about Sweden? Regarding the signatories, I think it's a lot more relevant than the signatories in the famous 97% list regarding global warming. There are so many lies regarding information on Covid and the vaccines it's amazing anyone trusts anything they hear unless it's straight from someone's lips who encountered it, like this woman. I'm not saying she is utterly beyond reproach, but I'd trust her over the likes of Fauci or most of the MSM. And one reason I refuse the vaccine is I have very high blood pressure, my family has a history of stroke, and there is this: ‘Stroke’ is 11,361% more likely to be suffered as an Adverse Reaction to the Covid-19 Vaccines than the Flu Vaccines per Number of Doses administered This is a recent article, but it calls out why I and many of my acquaintances have called it the "clot shot" for over a year. And what can not be ignored is that in the US there in fact is no FDA approved vaccine. They are all in beta test as far as I'm concerned. Regarding the death numbers, I don't believe them. They simply show how many people died "with" Covid, not "of" covid. A county in California reduced it's actual "death count" by almost half when they analyzed cases, and then there is Italy: ITALIAN INSTITUTE OF HEALTH DRASTICALLY REDUCES ITS OFFICIAL COVID DEATH TOLL NUMBER The bottom line is that it is very difficult for us here to discuss this whole thing with each other because we trust different information sources. I'm just glad it's now reached the endemic phase and we can move on with our lives - at least in most of the world. In answer to your question, ALL age groups. I'm 68, btw. My wife and I nursed her sister back to health (a few months ago) when she got Covid. She was quite ill. We never got it (at least, we never showed symptoms). We're not vaxxed, but we take supplements and eat healthy. We live our lives as though it doesn't exist. And I men mentally and emotionally. We've driven all over the country, maskless, as far as Seattle and never concerned ourselves about it. It might have to do with our belief in the healing power of the Great Healer. We also strongly believe the opposite of faith is fear, and vice versa. BTW, stats are fun. FWIW, we kill roughly 250 kids every year driving them to and from school.

My post stands. You're moving the goalposts. Now, let's have the stats for the unvaxxed. BTW, what percentage of the deaths are of the vaccinated? It also shows just how few people really die of Covid. The point of the whole discussion is to resolve the big question: Was it worth it to destroy our culture and the economies of the world? And there is stuff like this: Alberta Canada Inadvertently Published (and Quickly Deleted) Health Data Exposing that MORE THAN HALF of VACCINATED DEATHS Have Been COUNTED AS UNVACCINATED I used that particular link so you can be exposed to the responses of readers. More: Israel, One of Most Vaccinated Countries in the World, Sets New COVID-19 Case Record And to round it out: There’s disturbing vaccine data coming from Scotland That one is especially troubling. A snip: "Scottish data shows that the COVID-19 age-standardized case rate is highest among the two-dose vaccinated and lowest among unvaccinated!" Please note: This is a fraction of the stories I've logged in my feed on the subject of "vaccinated vs unvaxxed" and morbidity. I don't want to spam this site. -

Not really. And it is an ever changing story. There's the rub. What was "conspiracy theary 18 months ago has now proven to be true. e.g. "Don't worry. There won't be any mandates." Remember that one? -

Sure: "Is Covid really that dangerous, do the vaccines and masks actually work, and how effective, really, is Ivermectin and HQC - and how deadly is Remdesivir - and was it worth destroying our culture and economy and creating a Soviet style cancel culture?" I've been discussing that one on political forums since May of 2020. Hundreds of links available -

For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. I live my life without fear of Covid, the flu, etc. I put my faith in the Great Healer. He will take me at a time of His choosing. I was trying to avoid the rabbit hole and will continue to. However, I'm "armed for bear" if the site allows a thread on the subject. -

Yes. The problem is that this results in going down another rabbit hole. I've done it. Just not on this site. That rabbit hole is this: What percentage of the current deaths are vaccinated. I'll not post links and just leave it to the reader to do their research. It's quite telling, though. The bottom line is that I think when they try to bring up the "context" they are actually moving the goalposts. i.e. they don't even talk about the death rate of the unvaccinated. And "I think there is a story there.". Edit: One "interesting" aspect of this whole thing is in the "fun with statistics" category: Most people who die of/with covid are already past the average human life span. -

This line screamed to me, "political bias" (bold mine): The bill received “no” votes from Democrats or conservatives; the latter group spent time spreading disinformation about the vaccine’s safety and COVID-19 treatments. Please, do tell. What is this aleged disinformation? Is it the head of the CDC admitting just a couple of days ago that 75% of "covid" deaths in the US actually died with at least four comorbidities? Inquiring minds want to know. -
A brain exercise: The OT was written in a way that those alive at the time could make sense of what it was saying. So, here we go: Eden was God's place on earth where he could commune with man. The bible is written for mankind here on earth. We were created as his imager on earth. That is, as far as the earth is concerned, we are God. Kinda like, when you shop at a store in a chain, as far as you are concerned, each employee IS the company. Jesus is God in the flesh and His "firstborn" In the bible, "Firstborn" is actually a job title. Firstborn is the manifestation of "the boss" to everyone else in that realm. The manager of this particular store, if you will. In my analogy here, the "store" is the Earth. In other words, as far as the earth is concerned, we are God (his imager). As far as WE are concerned, Jesus is God. So, for those of us on Earth, we have been created to manage it for our creator. We are "his image" to the earth. Now the fun part... We have learned in the last century that the universe is more vast than we can even imagine. And the "known" universe is a tiny fraction of it - and it's probably infinite. Earth is not the only planet. And for all we know, what is happening on the earth is happening on an infinite number of other planets in our known - and unknown universe. And to be clear, the bible doesn't speak to them. It speaks to his imagers on planet earth and is earth centric. But there may be infinite races of "imagers" on other planets maintaining their own "garden of eden" as a place where God can commune with his creation there. And our eternal fate is to continue on with what he told Adam and Eve to do in the first place. Just a brain exercise. Next chapter...parallel dimensions.

One I've come to recently: Our state will return to what we were created for in the beginning. It is described in Genesis in the form of the relationship Adam and Eve had with each other and with God, and his instruction to them.

I dumped TV in 1997. It was the equivalent of the frog, being slowly boiled alive, jumping out before it got too hot. My mission at this point is to warn the other frogs at all costs. Sadly, many think I'm a crackpot. But then, they don't even read my sources. And even after their "experts" are exposed and destroyed over stuff like their support of a false narrative regarding folks like Jussie Smallett and Nick Sandmann, they STILL refuse to see. So I take the Walter Williams perspective: Suffer No Fools. I won't link to the video because it is against the rules, but for those that want to see it just search the title: "Walter Williams: Suffer No Fools - Full Video" -

Heh. Depends on which scientists you listen to. My favorite is https://realclimatescience.com/. He has a youtube site as well. Another really good youtube site is CDN. I don't even think about global warming except for, like with this endemic, how our leaders are trying to rape our freedoms, using it as an excuse. But that is really off topic so I'll just leave it at that. -

Nope. I used to compare our senior pastor at my church to Mr. Monk. He was already known as a germiphobe and really, REALLY embraced masks. We lost about a third of our congregation (it's only a few hundred). But even he abandoned masks last November. I'm in Taylor county, Kentucky, BTW. I think most of the bad stuff is coming out of Louisville. I worked there for about 7 years and, thank God, have no reason to ever return. Even the blues jam place I used to frequent, Stevie Ray's, was put out of business early on by the city's response to this "now" endemic. We used to like going to Bats games, but the last time we went, the underpasses were dense with tent cities, Seattle style. We're done with that nonsense. As Jordan peterson pointed out, and I highly agree, our response to the virus did a lot more harm than the virus itself. That's why places like South Dakota and Sweden are fine now. -

I DO have a friend that died of cancer and another that died in a car wreck. I still don't worry my pretty little head about it. We kill ~250 kids every year in the US transporting them to and from school, but I don't think most people break into a cold sweat when they are behind the people driving their kids to school. There are more "likely" dangerous things to worry about. Covid is simply not one of them and, truth be told, never was - outside of a nursing home. -

Well, I don't know anyone who has died of it, vaxxed or unvaxxed. And I have personal friends and family in a LOT of states and cities. However, the stats sure make the vaccines look kinda pointless. A LOT of vaccinated people are dying and increasing the number of vaccinated people doesn't seem to be having an impact on the number of deaths. I don't know if I posted this yet, but it sez it all: A twist on Abbot and Costello's "Who's on First" routine to expose a different kind of lunacy: Bud: ‘You can’t come in here!’ Lou: ‘Why not?’ Bud: ‘Well because you’re unvaccinated.’ Lou: ‘But I’m not sick.’ Bud: ‘It doesn’t matter.’ Lou: ‘Well, why does that guy get to go in?’ Bud: ‘Because he’s vaccinated.’ Lou: ‘But he’s sick!’ Bud: ‘It’s alright. Everyone in here is vaccinated.’ Lou: ‘Wait a minute. Are you saying everyone in there is vaccinated?’ Bud: ‘Yes.’ Lou: ‘So then why can’t I go in there if everyone is vaccinated?’ Bud: ‘Because you’ll make them sick.’ Lou: ‘How will I make them sick if I’m NOT sick and they’re vaccinated.’ Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’ Lou: ‘But they’re vaccinated.’ Bud: ‘But they can still get sick.’ Lou: ‘So what the heck does the vaccine do?’ Bud: ‘It vaccinates.’ Lou: ‘So vaccinated people can’t spread covid?’ Bud: ‘Oh no. They can spread covid just as easily as an unvaccinated person.’ Lou: ‘I don’t even know what I’m saying anymore. Look. I’m not sick. Bud: ‘Ok.’ Lou: ‘And the guy you let in IS sick.’ Bud: ‘That’s right.’ Lou: ‘And everybody in there can still get sick even though they’re vaccinated.’ Bud: ‘Certainly.’ Lou: ‘So why can’t I go in again?’ Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’ Lou: ‘I’m not asking who’s vaccinated or not!’ Bud: ‘I’m just telling you how it is.’ Lou: ‘Nevermind. I’ll just put on my mask.’ Bud: ‘That’s fine.’ Lou: ‘Now I can go in?’ Bud: ‘Absolutely not?’ Lou: ‘But I have a mask!’ Bud: ‘Doesn’t matter.’ Lou: ‘I was able to come in here yesterday with a mask.’ Bud: ‘I know.’ Lou: So why can’t I come in here today with a mask? ….If you say ‘because I’m unvaccinated’ again, I’ll break your arm.’ Bud: ‘Take it easy buddy.’ Lou: ‘So the mask is no good anymore.’ Bud: ‘No, it’s still good.’ Lou: ‘But I can’t come in?’ Bud: ‘Correct.’ Lou: ‘Why not?’ Bud: ‘Because you’re unvaccinated.’ Lou: ‘But the mask prevents the germs from getting out.’ Bud: ‘Yes, but people can still catch your germs.’ Lou: ‘But they’re all vaccinated.’ Bud: ‘Yes, but they can still get sick.’ Lou: ‘But I’m not sick!!’ Bud: ‘You can still get them sick.’ Lou: ‘So then masks don’t work!’ Bud: ‘Masks work quite well.’ Lou: ‘So how in the heck can I get vaccinated people sick if I’m not sick and masks work?’ Bud: ‘Third base.’ And...scene... -

Hey, my brother in law's wife and two of his daughters work at hospitals in the Phoenix area and this thing scares the crap out of them. I get it. We just choose not to talk about it with them any more. The problem is that even though they are "frontline", too much of their info is heresay. I choose to just look at the morbidity stats and demographic background, keeping in mind that it's now well documented that many of those cases are those that die "with" covid rather than "of" it. Those stats tell me not to worry my pretty little head about it - just like I don't worry about dying in a car wreck every time I strap myself in. Life is too short to worry about all the things that might kill me. Especially those things that are highly unlikely. -

I'm actually a fan of that. I think the results would be surprising. But, of course, I wouldn't FORCE anyone to do it. Only those that wanted to. It's a personal freedom thing. Like many things we encounter every day, it "can" kill you, and every cause of death comes with sincere heart string pulling stories from the family/friends of the deceased, but this is still a low risk virus. And all those other sources didn't cause us to destroy our cultures and control our populations like the old Soviet Block. It's insane. -

This actually speaks to why Lauren Southern is making the argument that there will be a revolt "of the obedient vaccinated" this year because of that stuff. "We did everything you asked, and we are STILL in lockdown?!" Go to youtube and search "2022 Will Be The END of COVID". It's a REALLY good rundown. -

Yep. It's especially deadly for those over 70, and with other co-morbidities. My friend's father got it in the first few months. He was in one of the dreaded nursing homes in Washington state. He's 94 with dementia. He showed minor symptoms and then he was fine. It's deadly - like a lot of things are. But we have learned that destroying our civilization was not the correct response. That is even MORE deadly. And I especially need to share - since we are on a Christian site - that the preservation of this meat body we occupy is not the highest pursuit. We all die. Especially people over 70. -

There is a LOT of lying going on regarding Covid-19. Much has been exposed, and I expect much more to be exposed in the next few months. I have a pretty broad circle of friends and family in the medical profession. Some are in hospitals and say this whole thing is baloney. Others are in hospitals and say they are being overrun. It depends on where they live and the rules there. However, they are not hospital management. They are the "guy in the trenches". Sometimes they don't realize that having full ICU's, and as many of the patients there as possible with COVID-19 is a HUGE money maker for the hospital. All they know is that they are swamped trying to help people. People that think everyone in the health care industry are there for altruistic reasons are living in a fool's paradise. Maybe awareness of what is really going on is something that comes with age and experience with both those that work at upper levels in the health care system, and human nature in general.
