  3. I hold true that one’s death on the cross with Christ is the foundation of discipleship….. May that discipleship ever be increasing, a fellow believer, Not me
  4. May you be blessed in your discipleship of our Lord…. A fellow follower, Not me
  5. Luke 9:23 (NASB20) And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ What part of our salvation are the words ‘take up his cross’ meant to portray…? The simplicity that is in Christ Jesus makes our salvation as simple as believing what God has said He did for mankind… This, what God said He did for mankind is believing that when Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world He did this by taking all of mankind with Him to death…. Thereby fulfilling the law that says, ‘the soul that sins that soul shall die’…. For mankind’s death with Christ on the cross is how Christ fulfilled the law concerning man, thereby God can be ‘both just and the justifier of him that has faith in Jesus’….. For to the degree and depth one believes this truth, to that degree and depth will that one walk in newness of life… For taking up one’s cross is one willingly taking their place, by faith, on the cross of Christ with Him, grabbing onto His death as one’s own…. Taking up one’s cross is meant to portray this faith that would willingly grab unto His death as one’s own death rather than sin…. For this is the purpose of this faith to free one from the power of sin that one was born under when they were born into this world…. For one’s death does free one from all the power that sin has over the believer, it is this willingness to believe in one’s death with Christ on the cross that is the faith that frees…. For this faith that is willing to die rather than sin is the faith that will experience Christ being formed in one, it being the new creation that sins not…. For it, the new creation is a new life that Christ needs to bring to life in one, this life man himself can not bring to life, but is something Christ can and will do if man will accept the salvation offered in Christ and choose to be dead on the cross with Christ…. Thereby as scripture says, ‘take up one’s cross daily’, meaning, that by faith remain on that cross through all the circumstances of life…. For this is the one and only way to be made free from all the influences of one’s fallen nature, which nature has been separated from one by one’s death on the cross with Christ…. For the believer is to live by faith, that faith being that when Christ died on the cross He took all with Him to death, taking up one’s cross is by faith holding onto this truth that He might bring to life in one the new creation without the hands of self tainting it with that which self can do, or, in other words, ‘that which is not of faith’… For our salvation is a free gift, it can have nothing of self in it so one might not glory in oneself but in what Christ Himself has done in and for one…. The cross being that place of separation, blessed are they that do indeed embrace by faith their death in Christ, for the salvation offered in Christ as a living reality will be experienced by the faith that so grabs unto this taking up one’s cross and by faith trusting Christ to live His life in and through, being that life that sins not…. For if one is not grabbing onto their death in Christ one is not taking up their cross and is leaving something on the table that was meant to be experienced by the believing one…. To the experiencing of the freedom of the new life that the cross brings to life in the believing one….. Unto Him, Not me
  6. Your post caused by heart to rejoice, for it is true, the more one sees their need for learning, the more capable that one is… Oh, to fully follow after Him, blessings, Not me
  7. Thank you for the scriptures and your thoughts, may we all grow up into Him that we might put a smile on His face…. Many blessings, unto Him be our all, a fellow follower, Not me
  8. I would wholeheartedly agree with you, I hold true this is the truth being brought forth in; 1 Corinthians 4:4 (NASB20) For I am not aware of anything against myself; however I am not vindicated by this, but the one who examines me is the Lord. Paul was not aware of thing against himself, but just because he wasn’t aware of anything didn’t mean he did have any, then he goes on to say it is the Lord that is the One to say…. Many blessings as today, (Lord willing), we walk in more righteousness than yesterday, and tomorrow more still… To the growing in Him, a fellow grower, Not me
  9. Thanks for still more verses, as we grow closer to Him, many blessings… Unto Him be our all, Not me

  11. Thanks, I’m of the mind that that is why scripture says; ‘whatsoever is not of faith is sin’, be that because all the workings of self are sin… Oh to the knowing of Him the more,,,, many blessings, a fellow servant of His, Not me
  12. Thank you for the sharing of your understanding, may God so bless the seeking one’s with such a knowing of Himself… Oh to that knowing, a fellow seeker after Him, Not me
  13. I hold true that anything that self does is sin, it matters not what particular flavor of sin, just that it is the workings of self… May we all be blessed with the death of such a creature…. As we look to Him, many blessings, Not me Thanks for your thoughts, may you be blessed in your relationship with Christ as He is revealed in you… Many blessings, a fellow follower of His, Not me
  14. Thanks, and many blessings,,, that we all might become mature sons and daughters before our God….. Unto Him be our all, Not me
  15. James 1:14 (NKJV) But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ When a believer is tempted it is generally tempted with the desire towards the sin it has given way to before….. These are the strongest of temptations because the sinful flesh has chosen to lay hold of these for one reason or another in the past…. These are the sins that still dwell in one that one has to reckon themselves dead to, for these desires are real and very much still alive in one…. This is where the reckoning oneself dead to these desires comes in, for the believer has died and not the sinful desires that are still alive in one; for the believer has died when Christ died… It is believing and maintaining this faith that is the fight of faith, for as long and as painful as this fight is, if one maintains one’s faith in their death in Christ, victory is assured, and that believing one will reap the fruit of that victory which fruit is being set free from that particular desire towards that sin… For Jesus did die and took the believing one with Him to death thereby freeing that one that that one might be joined to another… It is faith that grabs onto this freedom, and the strength and the depths of one’s desire to be freed from their sin will be the measure of the freedom one experiences….. For all things have become new, blessed is the one that would have it so…. Be blessed in the freedom that being joined with Christ in His death brings to life in one….. A fellow reckoner, Not me
  16. 2 Corinthians 13:5 (NASB20) Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you--unless indeed you fail the test? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are encouraged to test ourselves to see if we are in the faith, but what is this test one is not to fail..? It is recognizing that Christ Jesus is most certainly in oneself, but even the more, it is recognizing that this same Christ Jesus is in all believing one’s…. This is the test; to recognize Christ in one and recognize Christ in another… For when one has learned enough to recognize Christ in themselves and in another, that one has learned how to learn Christ; for learning righteousness is learning Christ, the fruit being, all is now met with a ‘not I but righteousness’, righteousness being Christ’s expression of life in the believing one… For Christ Jesus has most certainly come to make His abode in the believing one’s… It matters not how mature one is, Christ Jesus is most certainly alive in the heart that believes, it is recognizing this that is the test…. For it is recognizing the righteousness that is to be manifested in all things that is recognizing the Christ Jesus that is to be manifested in all things…. For Christ Jesus has come and He has died so His life might be spread to all those that are willing to believe…. For it is only this believing that can grab onto this expression of righteousness that is His expression of life, it is the grabbing onto this expression that puts one ‘in the faith’…. For in the believing does faith accept all things from the hand of God, for faith looks for what is the will of God in all things, it is this looking for that which is God’s will in all things that one is to judge oneself by, to see if one is, as scripture says, ‘in the faith’…. For it is the heart that recognizes that all things do indeed come from the hand of God, it is the heart that recognizes this truth that will rejoice and is at rest, and then this heart realizes this same truth that is in it, is in all other believer’s and rejoices even the more as this truth is brought to life in another, for then fellowship is established and Christ is shared and both hearts grow… Be blessed in passing the test that scripture has set before the believing heart, for in the recognizing does one past the test…. For the fruit of the recognizing of Christ, being, that one’s heart does overflow with rejoicing….. A fellow believing heart, Not me
  17. Hello, I hold true that the answer is no, for all things become new, reason being, that there is no part of us that is good, for God alone is good, and only by Him living in us can goodness be expressed, and to that degree…. (My thinks)…. May we all blessed in the learning and growing in Him, Not me
  18. John 5:30 (NKJV) “I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ In these words are put forth the ultimate denial of own will, which, we as believer’s are to emulate…. For as Christ said; ‘not my will but the Father’s’, the believer is to say; ‘not my will but Christ’s’…. For when one obeys what the will of the peace of Christ in one’s heart speaks, to that degree will their judgments be according to the will of God…. For giving up one’s own will for the expression of righteousness is the call set before all of fallen humanity…. For this is the end of all endeavors, that the will to righteousness would overcome the will to own will…. For this is being led by the Spirit of Christ which has come to make its abode in all those that would be willing to receive Him, which being the end of all things is also the beginning of all things… For this obedience to this peace, is obedience to the new life that is being brought to life in one, this being, where all the old things have passed away and all things become new….This, that new voice of peace that speaks forth righteousness is the voice of Christ in one which is to direct one to the right or left…. For this peace being listened to, is the end of one life and the beginning of another… Which all sounds fine and dandy, but the how escapes many believer’s…. We, as believer’s are called to faith, faith being that that looks away from itself to something or someone stronger than itself…. Our being crucified with Christ is that stronger that we are called to look towards… For believing that one has died with Christ and raised to a new life in Him is the faith that will see this come to fruition in one’s life…. For it is seeing oneself as the failure that one is that humbles one’s heart before God…. For it is the will to righteousness in the face of failure that lays open all of the heart before God… It is then the Son of righteousness shines forth in the heart and the heart grabs unto ‘it is no longer I that live but Christ that lives in me’…. And thus the will to righteousness has its accomplishment where the end has met the beginning, time goes into eternity and thus the restoration of all things….. Unto Him be our all, Not me
  19. Thanks for your thoughts, as long as the peace of Christ in your heart bears witness with what you hold as true, you are on your course and will get your ‘well done’… For the peace of Christ in my heart bears witness with the truth; that when all is boiled down, righteousness will be found as the very substance of all things…. Could I be wrong, sure, but I can only follow my inner witness, for I too am striving after my ‘well done’….. Be blessed as we both strive after our ‘well done’s’…. A fellow striver, Not me
  20. I wrote this awhile back, it may or may not help, but before God do we stand.… Blessings, hope it is worth the read, a fellow follower, Not me
  21. Thank you for the verses, as we all are blessed as we grow in our relationship with our Lord, may He be our all…. Blessings, a fellow follower, Not me
  22. I think you have stated a great truth here seeing that Christ came to restore that thing that was lost at the fall, it being the expression of righteousness in the life of man… Many blessings as once again the expression of righteousness is brought to life in the life of the believing one…... A fellow believer, Not me
  23. Blessings, as we search into the truths that righteousness holds….. A fellow believer, Not me
  24. 1 Corinthians 2:10 (NKJV) But God has revealed [them] to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The deep things of God, how can one know when one has or is entering into the deep things of God…? There can only be one answer to this inquiry and that is to the degree one sees, enters into and walks in righteousness, to that degree has one entered into the deep things of God…. For righteousness is the deepest depths of God, as one search’s deeper into God, one sees and walks in righteousness the more, and the more deeper will that one’s experience of God be… For this is our salvation in Christ, that we, the believing soul might walk in righteousness…. God has opened the door, those that by faith find it will be pillars in the house of God…. For Christ did die and took all to death with Him, those that are willing to enter into His death with Him by faith and deny all of themselves will experience God as God would have them experience Him…. Then the scripture that says ‘according to the power that works within us’ takes its proper place and all becomes second to that power of that new life growing in one…. For the just shall live by faith are not just by and by words that mean something, but not quite exactly clear, but are an exacting path forward to all that will venture to embrace their death in Christ by faith…. Then faith, then trusting God becomes one’s all, and then most assuredly the just shall live by faith becomes a living reality and those words also take their proper place….. Be blessed all that would walk in righteousness and enter into the deep things of God…. A fellow follower of His, Not me
  25. Thank you both for the kindnesses, Lord willing we will all run our race’s well and get our abundant welcomes….. To the striving after that abundance, blessings from a fellow servant of His, Not me
