Calculating Dates The first person in modern history to calculate the 483 years to the “cutting off” of the Messiah was Sir Robert Anderson in his book, The Coming Prince (1894). Using the decree to Nehemiah issued in 445 B.C. as his starting point, and using what he called “the 360 day prophetic year,” Anderson calculated that it was exactly 173,880 days or 483 lunar years from the day the edict was issued to the day Jesus made His triumphal entry into Jerusalem. His calculations placed the crucifixion in the spring of 32 A.D. And there you have it, Daniel prophesied about the Coming of the Messiah (Yeshua), not about the 7 year Tribulation!! These are Seminary notes i have from biblical scholars I personally learned from: Maybe Seminary is something you should clearly entertain, to help you understand prophecy!!

the Event represents: The prophecy begins by stating that six things will be accomplished regarding the Jewish people during a period of 490 years: “Finish the transgression” “Make an end of sin” “Make atonement for iniquity” “Bring in everlasting righteousness” “Seal up vision and prophecy” “Anoint the most holy place” Let’s take a moment to consider the meaning of these six prophecies. The first, “finish the transgression,” refers to the Jew’s rejection of God. The Hebrew word translated “transgression” connotes the idea of rebellion, and the rebellion of the Jewish people is their rejection of Jesus as their Messiah. Jesus said He would not return until the Jewish people are willing to say, “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” (Matthew 23:37-39). The Jews will open their hearts to their Messiah before Daniel’s 490 year period ends. The period will also witness an “end of sin” for the Jews. The word translated “sin” refers to the sins of daily life — sins of dishonesty and immorality. This end of sin will occur at the time the Jews accept their Messiah and His earthly reign of righteousness begins. An atonement for Israel’s sins is the third thing that will happen during Daniel’s 70 weeks of years. This atonement occurred, of course, when Jesus shed His blood on the Cross for the sins of the world. But that atonement will not actually be applied to the Jews until they appropriate it by accepting Jesus as their Messiah. The 490 year period will also “bring in everlasting righteousness.” This undoubtedly refers to the establishment of the Messiah’s earthly reign when the earth will be flooded with peace, righteousness and justice as the waters cover the sea. The fifth achievement will be the fulfillment of all prophecy concerning the Messiah. The Apostle Peter referred to two types of Messianic prophecy — those related to “the sufferings of Christ” and those concerning “the glories to follow” (1 Peter 1:11). The suffering prophecies were all fulfilled at the Cross. The prophecies concerning “the glories to follow”are yet to be fulfilled. Just as Jesus was humiliated in history, He is going to be glorified in history. This will occur when the Jews accept Him, and He returns to reign over the world from Mt. Zion in Jerusalem. The final goal to be achieved at the end of the 70 weeks of years is “the anointing of the most holy.” Most English translations say “the most holy place.” The Hebrew simply says, “the most holy.” The Starting Point Daniel says all these spiritual goals will be accomplished within a special period of 490 years. When did that period begin, and when did it end? It is when Daniel addresses these questions that he begins to give clues as to the timing of the First and Second Advents of the Messiah. The prophecy says that the starting point of the 70 weeks of years will be “the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem” (Daniel 9:25). Keep in mind that this prophecy was given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel during the time of Israel’s exile in Babylon. The approximate date was 538 B.C., shortly before the first remnant of Jews were allowed to return to Jerusalem in 536 B.C. under Zerubbabel. Jerusalem was in ruins at this time, having been destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar 70 years earlier in 586 B.C. (The captivity had begun in 605 B.C., before the destruction of Jerusalem, when Nebuchadnezzar took Daniel and other “youths” to Babylon as hostages — Daniel 1:1-4.) The crucial question relates to when the decree was issued “to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.” There are three possible dates: 538 B.C. — Cyrus, King of Persia, issued a decree to Zerubbabel to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem (2 Chronicles 36:22-23; Ezra 1:1-3; and Ezra 6:1-5). 457 B.C. — Artaxerxes, King of Persia, issued a decree to Ezra authorizing him to reinstitute the Temple services, appoint judges and magistrates, and teach the Law (Ezra 7:11-26). 445 B.C. — Artaxerxes issued a decree to Nehemiah to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem (Nehemiah 2:1-8). On the surface, the third decree, the one issued to Nehemiah, seems to be the most obvious candidate for the starting date of the prophecy, for it is the only one that specifically relates to the rebuilding of the city. For that reason, most commentators have selected it as the beginning of the 70 weeks of years. DANIEL'S 70 WEEKS REPRESENT THE COMING OF THE MESSIAH (YESHUA)!! And You have equated the Wonderful Prophecy of the coming MESSIAH to the rule of the ANTICHRIST in Tribulation!! Just WOW!! That is almost BLASPHEMOUS!!
-
If Daniel wrote this according to the time frames that we know when the kings he mentions ruled (Darius was in his 3rd year, Nebuchadnezzar was in his 1st year of reign etc), that puts this around 600 BC. 490 years from then puts us around 100 BC. So what event happened in 100 BC since we know this is not about the final 7 year Tribulation? This is the benefit to Seminary, learning and understanding the HEBREW by which the KJV Old Testament was translated from. This is another reason I suggest Seminary, because reading this from the original Hebrew explains why this COULD NOT BE the final 7 year Tribulation, or as you suggest the beginning of God's Wrath... And when you properly apply the original Hebrew, then you can see that it is YOU, WHO are doing what you accused me of doing...creating a wrong hypothesis, by misusing and misinterpreting scripture!!

John knew who the Dragon was the many times he witnessed Yeshua speaking to Demons and casting them out. John the Beloved, was given great insight from Yeshua (read the Gospel of John, unlike the other Gospels and the depth is obviously greater than that of Matthew-Mark-Luke). He was alone in Patmos with nothing but time between himself and God. The Dragon would be no secret when he witnessed Yeshua calling Peter "the Adversary," when Peter wanted to stop Yeshua from going to Jerusalem to die. John knew this Dragon when Yeshua described watching him fall as lightning. John, of all of the Disciples, knew who the ENEMY was before ever writing about the enemy. So NO, the 12th Chapter is a prophetic and spiritual chapter, not a history lesson John decided to add to Revelations!!

I know God did not have that written, but I know many who have used the 70 weeks of Daniel in that fashion and based it upon when Israel officially became a legal nation. 70 weeks in Daniel represents = In the Hebrew, the word translated “weeks” is actually the word “sevens.” So, the text actually says, “Seventy sevens have been decreed…” this = 490 years!! In your opinion, what is this event?
-
If this is towards me, Thank You Brother!! I am honored by Your generous and kind words!! And I believe I shall take your advice and copy it to my site
-
Like I already mentioned, you are going with that Israel became a legal Nation in May, 1948. There are 3 specifics given in Daniel (40 weeks, 70 weeks, 120 weeks). That gives us the years 1988 (which there was a Book called 88 reason God returns in 1988)(obviously god did not return in 1988). Then we have the year 2018, specifically, May of 2018. Israel celebrated its 70th year Anniversary. The one thing that DID NOT HAPPEN, was the return of Yeshua. Which then makes, if Daniel's 70th week followed the Nation of Israel being legal and recognized as a Nation in 1948, that means we are in the SECOND YEAR of Tribulation. Which means, since Yeshua did not return, Daniel's 70th week is not Pre-Trib!! So explain, if Daniel's prophecy was for this time period, and 70 + 1948 = 2018, specifically, May 2018...and today marks ONE YEAR from May 2018, how come there was no Pre-Trib Second coming?

This statement here is what concerns me the most. The Book of Revelations was not written to cater to currents times (96 A.D.). Even the Asia Minor churches in Chapters 2/3, were representations of the spiritual issues Paul had with them, and then later, Yeshua describes them to John in a prophetic future sense. Which we now understand as Dispensations. And obviously, we are in the very last one, Laodecia. Just like the Woman dressed in the sun, with the moon as her shoes, and the 12 stars representing the 12 Tribes of Israel matches the dream Joseph had before his 11 brothers sold him into slavery. And then we find this woman in Chapter 12 pregnant (so she is in labor pains) like Paul describes in 1 Thess verse 5. And we see the Dragon being cast out with 1/3 like we see in Daniel 12:1. And then this Dragon tries to attack this pregnant Woman to kill the child, which is Yeshua. And we can align Revelations 12 with Daniel concerning who stops Daily Sacrifice, which this is when the Jews understand this entity calling itself God is not their Messiah. This causes a war and where we find 1/3 of the Jews escaping into Petra because the way to Petra is narrow enough for 1 person and the Dragon is too big to follow the escaping Jews. And since we know the Temple has yet to be rebuilt, Revelations 12 and daniel 12 are future events still to come. So, they are prophetic, even if they also represent like examples of what already took place.
-
And as I mentioned, you can find the prophetic end time message several places in Scripture. And Paul is specific about the WOMAN with CHILD. That is SPECIFIC to Revelations 12. When SPECIFIC WORDS ARE USED, they ALWAYS relate in prophecy!! So what Paul wrote is very much the same as what John wrote in Revelations 12.

Do you believe that God used a donkey to speak a warning? Do you believe God as I AM used a Burning Bush to speak to Moses? ALL scripture is considered the WORD of God, or to be Holy Spirit inspired/Breathed. So that means, EVERY SCRIPTURE WE READ, has both a practical side, historical side, and the context generally has a prophetic side to it. It would not matter if Paul was writing to a group of collected rocks, if it was Holy Spirit Inspired/Breathed from God, there are prophetic undertones to it. ***How many times have you actually read the Bible cover to cover (Genesis to Malachi, Matthew to Revelations)?*** If you have read it at least (3) THREE times, you will notice that things happening in Genesis sometimes can be found in Jeremiah and somewhere within the New Testament. There are generally (3) references we can fall back on. Like the David and Joshua both instructed and spoke about the Book of Jasher, and Jasher is another view of the first 5 Books written by Moses. Yeshua and Jude both quote what Enoch wrote. These TWO BOOKS are quoted and mentioned in our current Canon but is found NOWHERE within it. How retarded is that? But, the Book of Enoch chapter 1 is the same as Daniel 11/12, Matthew 24, and Revelation speaking specifically of the WRATH of God in Armageddon and Final Judgement. Both God as Yeshua, and his half brother Jude quote Enoch. You would think if GOD quotes someone, what that person wrote about would be found in God's WORD. But the Council (ungodly council) refused both the Book of Enoch and Jasher and we read in our Canon about BOTH of these Books!! You need to let God CONTROL YOUR MIND!! Every scripture I have read and will continue to read, I pray afterwards for God's understanding that is beyond what I can understand now. If you took Seminary, these questions like Paul wrote to a church, so, how does that mean it relates prophetically to what Enoch, Daniel, Matthew, and John wrote concerning the Return of Yeshua for His Bride? This is now basic common sense to me, after going through several Seminary's under Biblical Teachers, who are considered experts with great knowledge concerning God, His WORD, and what is yet to come. It cannot hurt you whatsoever, unless your faith path is Jehova Witness, Catholic, Mormonism where they put others before Yeshua. JW's don't recognize Yeshua in certain views, Mormons find Yeshua to be a prophet (like the Muslims), and Catholics put Mary before God. When you are that brainwashed, it literally takes God to fix you. Seminary would only confuse a member of those occults!!

If you are using this verse from 1 Thes 5: 3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. Read Revelation 12 and where it specifies who this WOMAN is with child (Israel). And then look at the days attached to it: 6And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days. This is MID-TRIB when the woman goes into hiding for 1,260 days from Daniel 12: 11And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. Verse 11 is DAILY SACRIFICE is taken away. We know the Jews in Israel have returned to their old beliefs and want their Temple rebuilt to begin Daily Sacrifice. But the antichrist stops Daily Sacrifice at MID-TRIB, which in Revelation 12 explains 1/3 of the Jews escape to Petra for the REMAINING DAYS of TRIBULATION. Look at verse 12 from Daniel: The man clothed in white linen is of course Yeshua, who is explaining to Daniel these things to come. But look what Yeshua says in verse 12: 12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. He says, Blessed are those who come towards the END of TRIBULATION. This matches what Yeshua said in Matthew 24 about the Gathering of the ELECT AFTER Tribulation ENDS!! It's right there all in black and white. And, if you want to use what Paul wrote, we are gathered BEFORE WRATH, before Armageddon and GWTJ as I provided scripture from Revelations in previous posts. Paul is saying the SAME THING as Daniel, Matthew, John in Revelation...we are Gathered before God's wrath upon the sinners, the Adversary, the Beast, the False Prophet. During Tribulation, these demonic entities are FREE AND HAVE ALL POWER (so how is that God's WRATH on Satan if Satan is free to show his own powers?) Wrath clearly is Armageddon and Final Judgement!!
-
I know it was God, who put the thoughts that Paul wrote into words, in his letters. But the verses before and after these 2 verses do not INDICATE a specific time at all. It indicates that WHENEVER YESHUA RETURNS, THIS IS WHAT WILL HAPPEN!! 16For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. There are no DISPENSATIONAL TIME PERIODS ANYWHERE ATTACHED TO THESE VERSES. Preachers have added them, which makes them "Man's Traditions!!" And anyone claiming there are Dispensations attached to what Paul wrote here in verses 16 -17, they are also FOLLOWING "Man's Traditions!!" I follow the Tradition Yeshua set for us, not the INTERPRETER who DOES NOT have a CLUE!!
-
AMEN!! I am on your side BROTHER!! YOU ARE MY BROTHER IN YESHUA!! WE ARE FAMILY!! WE ARE ON THE SAME TEAM!! I want to agree with what you believe!! If we differ, it's because I believe there is more than the level of knowledge you are currently at. I had MANY of YOUR SAME VIEWS!! I kid you not!! But I took my Grandfathers notes, the notes of other great Bible teachers like G.T. Haywood, Wigglesworth, Sumrall, etc... I studied and prayed and begged God to reveal more than what I currently had understood. And when He opened up my awareness to be receptive of His Knowledge, the light literally flipped the switch to ON POSITION!!

YES, the physical portion does mean the Adversary and 1/3 Angels being booted, but the SPIRITUAL INDICATION is recognized with the Woman, pregnant with a manchild = Yeshua = this is specifically discussing Israel, and 1/3 of them will survive by escaping to Petra. YOU SERIOUSLY NEED TO GO TO SEMINARY!! ARE YOU AGAINST PEOPLE BRIGHTER THAN YOU? IF NOT, GO TO SEMINARY AND GET A CLUE, P...L...E...A...S...E!! This is painful to see just how lost you are!!

Everyone whose job is to study these things from Biblical Scholars, Biblical Teachers in Universities ALL teach Daniel's 70th Week happened in the Destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. It's in 70 A.D. that ends the age of the Apostles (with exception to John). The end of the Apostles marks a prophetic era in God's timeline. The end of the Apostles factually took place as Daniel prophesied concerning his 70th week in 70 A.D. In fact, if we applied Daniel's 70th week to 1948, when Israel officially became a known and recognized Nation, that takes us to the year 2018. It is 2019, so that would mean we are already in the FIRST WEEK/FIRST YEAR of the Great Tribulation!! Which means, either Mid-Trib or Post Trib, because the 70th week from the time of Israel being birthed as an official Nation, happened literally ONE YEAR AGO in May, 2018!! Which means Pre-Trib is done gone and passed and will be no more. Either way, how I explain from FACTS (70 A.D.), or using your 70th week in current age (from 1948), Pre-Trib is IMPOSSIBLE!! Both views reveals that you are incorrect, and why I keep suggesting Seminary, so you get a clue!!

I will keep you in my prayers!! Life is tough and people today can be generally hateful. And you don't have to say, I believe in God, or have a Bible, or wear a cross for hateful people to understand you are different than they are. Most hateful people have some form of Demonic oppression that enables them to always be hateful. But these Demonic spirits, who are inside hateful people, can see YOU, ME, BELIEVERS 10 miles away and getting closer. They (Demonic spirits) know the presence of OUR GOD, via the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of us, almost every time before we know these hateful people are possessed and oppressed. But a simple reminder to help EMPOWER YOU!! When we are talked badly about, when we are done wrong, when we are cheated, when we are lied about, when hateful people treat us rudely...WE SHOULD SHOUT AS LOUD AS WE CAN "Thank You God, for giving me the VICTORY and for handing me my enemies so I am able to see them whine, cry, complain, lie, be hateful because they know they are DEFEATED!!" I also like to give one last jab to the Adversary by stating, "Greater is HE that is within me, than he that is within the world!!" If you are a child of God, then WHO can come against You? When these people attack us, they really are never actually attacking us the human being, they are attacking God within us. This means, they are SCARED!! Never forget, THEY ARE AFRAID because GOD is inside of YOU!! But it's vital to always remember and never to forget, "THEY ARE AFRAID!!"
-
hahahahahahaha JUST WOW...talk about unbelievable!! Ummm, you do know that the 70th week of Daniel already took place in 70 A.D.? And yes, 70 A.D. was ALL ABOUT ISRAEL, Daniel's 70th week!! The portion of Daniel matching Revelation and Matthew is chapters 11 and 12!! You really need to go to SEMINARY!! Or Maybe you are afraid to, because they will destroy the false beliefs that you have been posting in this thread alone!!
-
What Denomination are you? Because I have yet to meet anyone on this level of cluelessness... Revelation 12: verse 1 represents Israel = Woman with sun-moon-12 stars = Joseph's Dream verse 4 is like many prophecies. Something happens and later in history, a similar incident takes place but this time with a deeper prophetic meaning. Here we see 1/3 Jews escape to Petra. Look at the antisemitism currently happening in the United States with several synagogues being burnt and destroyed. America's Jews will RETURN to Israel like prophesied. You can literally see this prophecy happening today. That is 10 Jewish Churches destroyed in a month, and Trump is encouraging it. When the hate succeeds, Jews will do like they have all throughout their history, they will flee to Israel. You obviously are not even aware of what is currently happening or you would not have tried to make the claim you just did (shakes my head in disbelief at how lost and clueless you really are)...

First of all, the 7 churches of Asia Minor are prophetic time dispensations. Example: In the 1960's to basically the year 2,000, this era is known as "Brotherly love or the Generation of Peace." This era coincides with what we read pertaining to the church and Dispensation of Philadelphus (Brotherly Love). Since then, and you can tell specifically by how churches allow homosexuals to be pastors and bible teachers, how the majority of believers are neither hot nor cold, an obvious riding the fence mode, and the fact that there is a great deception taking place with elections and candidates leading us right into the ONE WORLD SYSTEM. We definitely are in the Dispensation of Laodecia. Yes, these were actual churches in John's day, but today, they are serving prophetic Dispensations. And we happen to be in the very last Dispensation. Now, to address the passage of scripture you are referring to: Revelation 2: 18And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; 19I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. You do understand if you take the Dispensation and apply it correctly, these 5 verses already happened, and it happened right here in the United States of America. We call it, "The Great Depression." If you break down Jezebel and what she represents, plus research the 1930's, the number one theme was specifically, just as we read in the latter half of verse 20: "to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols." Fornication and idols (Specifically Moloch - god of wealth and riches). During this "Great Tribulation," more people lost all of their savings, their sources of income, and more suicides were commited than any other time in history. You really are stretching here: I suggest you study to know and understand what has happened, and then apply to where scripture aligns to that history, before trying to pass it off onto something not even related!! You are really striking out here, but that happens, and it happens specifically to those who lack proper scripture interpretation!!
-
You are seriously in complete DENIAL!! verse 14 specifies these came from the GREAT TRIBULATION: 14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, (These are they which came out) of ((great tribulation)), Verse 9 specifies they come from ALL NATIONS, ALL KINDREDS, ALL PEOPLES, ALL TONGUES Absolutely that is not speaking of the 144k 144k is a number so great John could not count? Are you SERIOUS? Face it, whether you like it or not, you better MAN UP in God because if you are alive when the Tribulation begins, you are going through it until it ends, or you die!!
-
Something else: Let's bring up the SAME VERSE 9 again: 9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, (1) we know these are Tribulation Elect/Saints (2) we know they are a number that John could not count (the time when John was a Disciple, the historian Josephus tells us Israel had over 1 million people...so John would know 3 million Jews easily) (3) Verse 9 specifies this group of Tribulation Elect/Saints are from ALL NATIONS, ALL KINDREDS, ALL PEOPLES, ALL TONGUES: So NO, Matthew 24 IS NOT about the Revelation 12 1/3 Jews, it is about the BRIDE that went through Tribulation. This the best indicator of POST-TRIB!!
-
THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF PEOPLE MENTIONED IN REVELATION PERTAINING TO THE ELECT!! (1) These are the Elect that are gathered from the 4 corners mentioned by Yeshua in Matthew 24: Revelation 7: 1And after these things I saw ((four angels standing on the four corners of the earth)) 9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. 11And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, 12Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. 13And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. (2) And these are those who were beheaded in the Tribulation: Revelation 20: 4And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received hismark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. ***Pay attention to this verse in Revelation 7*** 9After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, Verse 9 (no man could number, a great multitude)...we know the Jews are 10 million as of right now in Israel, 1/3 is 3 million, not even close to a number we cannot count!! Verse 14 reveals where this great multitude (obvious is more than just 3 million Jews from Petra) comes from...they come from the Tribulation and gathered from the 4 corners like Matthew 24 and Yeshua mentions!!
-
You do understand that the 4 corners = East, North, West, South? Revelations 12 puts the Jews ALL in ONE PLACE, Petra...that is not the 4 corners by any stretch of the imagination!! The ELECT is gathered from the 4 corners, so, this is more than just the Jews of Revelation 12!!
