Could these Verses describe Modern Day America?
AandW_Rootbeer replied to AandW_Rootbeer's topic in General Discussion
Agreed, but in Scripture, the result of God's Wrath came specifically for an <action of rebellion> in how the population of where Noah was located at (Mesopotamia), or the specific region of Sodom and Gomorrah existed had specifically opposed God (USA is doing that currently in the House and Senate and been doing as such since the 1960's and since the Founding Fathers). I am merely pointing out, compared to Noah's day or Sodom and Gomorrah's day, the USA itself can fit into these categories. But in general, I do believe the entire world is guilty of these actions found in 2 Timothy 3. -
Could these Verses describe Modern Day America?
AandW_Rootbeer replied to AandW_Rootbeer's topic in General Discussion
From the Codex Sinaiticus: :1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 without natural affection, truce-breakers, false accusers, without self-control, fierce, that love not the good, 4 traitors, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness, but denying its power; from these also turn away. 6 For of such are they that enter into houses, and lead captive silly women burdened with sins, led away by various desires, -
"But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people. For among them are those who creep into households and capture weak women, burdened with sins and led astray by various passions, always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth. Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these men also oppose the truth, men corrupted in mind and disqualified regarding the faith. But they will not get very far, for their folly will be plain to all, as was that of those two men."—2 Timothy 3:1-5 If these Verses do in fact describe Modern Day America, that means America is being described similar to the people's mindset before Noah's Flood and the peoples mindset of Sodom and Gomorrah before Fire and Brimstone. Since we know how America is and the Governments stance on many new idealism's, should we be looking for America to crash and burn?

And as equally as much as I value the King James Bible, I also Value the actual Hebrew Torah/Tanakh for the KJV Old Testament comparisons and the Codex Sinaiticus (1 of 2 first Greek Written New Testaments) for the KJV New Testament comparisons. Together, it's more of the <Whole WORD> of God itself literally.

Yes, the LORD God has 16 specific Names: El Shaddai (Lord God Almighty) El Elyon (The Most High God) Adonai (Lord, Master) Yahweh (Lord, Jehovah) Jehovah Nissi (The Lord My Banner) Jehovah Raah (The Lord My Shepherd) Jehovah Rapha (The Lord That Heals) Jehovah Shammah (The Lord Is There) Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord Our Righteousness) Jehovah Mekoddishkem (The Lord Who Sanctifies You) El Olam (The Everlasting God) Elohim (God) Qanna (Jealous) Jehovah Jireh (The Lord Will Provide) Jehovah Shalom (The Lord Is Peace) Jehovah Sabaoth (The Lord of Hosts) But we call Him, Yeshua! He is the WORD!

Are you referring to Adonai as My LORD, or My Master? And Who do you believe Adonai to be?

This nugget of information from this Verse just seems to enlighten more than the rest of this Meaning <by which we know that it is a last hour>. <by which we know that it is a last hour> Pretty cool, how the Apostles and the First Church was preaching "Last Hour," and here we are 2,000 years later, preaching the same <by which we know that it is a last hour> Warning.

When Government controlled institutions are able to make decisions above the Parent, that is Government telling you they own you. I clearly see the USA adapting this sooner rather than later. -
Christ in Exodus 3: as Angel of the Lord: 2An angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from within the thorn bush, and behold, the thorn bush was burning with fire, but the thorn bush was not being consumed. as the Lord: 4The Lord saw that he had turned to see, and Elohim called to him from within the thorn bush, and He said, "Moses, Moses!" And he said, "Here I am!" as Elohim: 6And He said, "I am the Elohim of your father, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob." And Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look toward Elohim. as I AM: 14Elohim said to Moses, "Ehyeh asher ehyeh (I will be what I will be)," and He said, "So shall you say to the children of Israel, 'Ehyeh (I will be) has sent me to you.'"

The Divine Name has been updated to Yeshua. Exodus 3 and 6 tell us the Names the pre-incarnate Christ gave to His Chosen peoples. Exodus 3 Christ = Angel of the Lord, LORD, Elohim, I AM Exodus 6 Christ = YHWH 3I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob with [the name] Almighty God, but [with] My name YHWH, I did not become known to them.

It's important enough that David mentions it specifically: 18Uncover my eyes and I shall look at hidden things from Your Torah.

There is a Name above all Names, Yeshua, and it is not profaning any Name of God! Phil 2: 9Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Mark 10:6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. Satan has made a mockery of this, and today we're forcing this Message upon all humanity. We are in the same mind frame as were those people before Noah's Flood, and the same as the peoples who once called home to Sodom and Gomorrha. Those Civilizations chose how to define the creation of God, very much like we are today. And then it was not much longer they Perished! -
The greater the trials...the more JOY we should have....
AandW_Rootbeer replied to Tammy Roesch's topic in General Discussion
Ask Him, am I going through this trial to later on be able to help others when they face similar circumstances? Ask Him, what do you want me to learn the most by going through this trial? Ask Him, show me the meaning to why I am going through this trial? When you know why God sends you through a trial, you know what areas in your life are being corrected. Then you don't mind being in a trial as much as you once did. -
What I have observed concerning Covid-19, it's simply random. 10 people can have it and none of them are suffering the same specific illnesses. And then we add a vaccination, a literal stab in the dark and based upon the original variance before that itself evolved into these numerous other variances. But there are common connectors to all variances these vaccinations do attack. And agreed, for a very few in the overall count, it's like playing Russian Roulette. But for the vast majority, it's like the other boosters before. Personally, you have to be comfortable about choosing to get vaccinated or not. And this world doesn't present much comfort at all to be trusting. But for many whose lives are dedicated to solving issues for viruses, like covid-19, they don't have an ulterior motive to deceive anyone. And they are putting their own trust into their own research and taking their own vaccination <before> passing it onto others. They are really only trying to slow this epidemic down.

Even though OUR Trials are as equally difficult as everyone else's, when you're in the midst of a trial, it's rather easy to understand your trial is greater or lesser than others. I am fascinated how we will all see various degrees of trials preparing us for what is to come. But what is to come has been upon my mind for years now. When I add all of my pluses VS negatives in trials, lessons from them, what I was made to endure, a far bigger trial is not going to be pleasant at all. But every day is more education preparing me for it. -
Agreed! There is a major difference when translating a name, but do indeed change it's meaning, because the way you spell it is due to how you are able to sound it out. And <sounding it out in in your mind in order to spell it> is NOT the Inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

ABOMINATION is a STRONG WORD...

True conversion is not through Gimmick. But I understand you are trying to Help! I commend you for that extra effort. But when the Homosexual visits, make sure those inside the building are on fire for God. That is what will change one more than special seating arrangements -
Life is Fragile! And even being in God and God in myself, my life is as Fragile as the very moment God takes me Home. And I still recall my younger days when Fragile had no meaning. I Pray for God's Peace to come upon these Parents lives.

ABOMINATION is a STRONG WORD...
AandW_Rootbeer replied to Tammy Roesch's topic in General Discussion
And if it had a meaning? It would mean, I totally believe like I would have an in person to person conversation, it would be an open Dialogue between God and myself. And I have in the past bartered with God, debated with God, Litigated with God and felt I had a good point to be made. But in the end, we always did it God's Way! -
ABOMINATION is a STRONG WORD...
AandW_Rootbeer replied to Tammy Roesch's topic in General Discussion
I was thinking this <I am even almost to the point of no longer thinking I can persuade Him to View any of my sins differently.> and then wrote that literally short hand and had to correct it from not proof reading. -
ABOMINATION is a STRONG WORD...
AandW_Rootbeer replied to Tammy Roesch's topic in General Discussion
I have no fear in admitting, I am not righteous by any standard in this life. I have no fear in admitting, I too struggle with my own vices, and even wonder why God doesn't allow Victory in those areas. I have no fear in admitting, I am my own biggest issue in life. I have no fear in admitting, for as many times I am actually correct about anything in life, I am also wrong 100 fold more. And I have no fear in admitting, I am honest to God in my Confessions because He already knows what trials I face. And for those Reasons, I have no fear in admitting anything, I also have no issue Discerning a situation/scenario and bringing it to light. I don't hide from God. I am even almost to the point of no longer thinking I can persuade Him to View any of my sins differently. And I am Blessed and Thankful He is God and Just and holds me to the Same Standard as Everyone Else. -
I can, and have already, and it exists within this Thread. But it does not relate to the Topic.

Elohim = God! Exodus 3: 6And He said, "I am the Elohim of your father, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob." And Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look toward Elohim.
