  1. Ok, thanks so much for the correction on the lyrics. I don't always hear the words right or remember them correctly.
  2. I apologize that this was so scattered, but I did feel I needed prayer with this one, because I do believe God has an encouraging message in this today for us all. I am going to put it all together here for those that would like to read it all in context (sorry for the repeat). Take your candle, go light your world Friday, January 19, 3:17 a.m.
  3. I just wanted to thank you again for those thoughts. They really helped me to put the dreams in perspective, so thanks. As always, any additional thoughts are always welcome! I do love to hear from you, too!!
  4. And, then the conclusion of it all is that we all need to come to the Lord broken and beautiful, surrendering our hearts to him, allowing him to mend and heal those broken places in our lives. He is the only answer; our only hope! Their only hope! And, we are the ones God has called to tell them that message of hope. We need to take our candles and go light our world for Jesus! Amen?
  5. Ok, I think this second dream has to do with us, the church, getting our spiritual storage out and sharing it with a world in need of a Savior. We need to get our "stuff" out and share it with the world or they will die for eternity. They need Emmanuel. They need to know he is God with us. He is revealed to the world through our lives, but we have to be taking our candles and going and lighting our world
  6. Ok, it's beginning to come together. I think this first dream has to do with lives that are broken, confused, without hope, etc., and how we need to take our candles to them and show them the way to God's peace:
  7. Ok, I found 2 out of 3 but I'm stuck on this one. There are other songs similar to it, but I know it has these phrases: Emmanuel, Emmanuel They called his name Emmanuel God with us Revealed in us They called his name Emmanuel Can anyone help?
  8. Go Light Your World There is a candle in every soul. Some brightly burning some dark and cold There is a spirit, who brings a fire Ignites a candle, and makes his own. Chorus Carry your candle, run to the darkness Seek out the hopeless, confused and torn, Hold out your candle for all to see it Take your candle, go light your world. Take your candle; go light your world Frustrated brother, see how he
  9. Ok, I thought maybe we would begin with the song lyrics, since each time I woke up there was a specific song in my head. I take it then, that the dreams have something to do with the messages in these songs: Broken and Beautiful Mark Schultz There
  10. Thank you! I woke up with three different songs in my head this morning at three different intervals and I only know a few of the lyrics of each, so I'm going to try out the links you all have suggested to me and see if I can get the lyrics. I do so appreciate all the help!
  11. I think you are on the right track. I think it has something to do with what we store up and what we give out. I think the Lord may be leading me to do a word search on "store." I think it has to do with what we have stored up and it being too late and encouraging people to get stuff out of their storage (not physical, but spiritual) - so many people take in and take in but never give out - take your candle, go light your world. 9:28 a.m.
  12. Take your candle, go light your world Friday, January 19, 3:17 a.m.
  13. Thank you both for your suggestions. I'll have to do that the next time I'm humming a tune and don't know the words. Have a great day in Jesus!!
  14. From Darkness to Light January 18, 2007 Warning: These dreams are of a sensitive nature and fall under Spiritual Warfare: Wednesday, January 17, 10:38 a.m.
  15. I don't know. Do you remember any more details? Sometimes more detail helps. May I ask you a question? Where are you in your relationship with the Lord? That may have some bearing on the meaning of the dream. I will pray about it and see if the Lord shows me anything. But, it does sound like someone is trying to get a message to you, and the only ones I know who speak to us in dreams are God and Satan. If it is God, he is trying to show you something about your life or he is using you to speak a message to others. If it is Satan, he could be trying to frighten you or entice you or deceive you in some way. The dream is a little confusing, but then I've got vertigo going on in my head right now so it may just be me. I'll let you know if anything comes to me. I would recommend that you pray about it and seek God's face.
  16. I read this in my QT today: I Thes. 4:13-5:11:
  17. CJ, Again, I see some similarities between your dream and my daughter-in-law's dream Mountain of God. I believe you are both dreaming about the tribulation. She had a dream or vision that she was having twins and she says now she is dreaming about triplets. I told her the dreams were most likely symbolic. She said the Lord has given her names for the twins, so she feels she is having twins (she has an ultra-sound tomorrow), but she sees the triplets as symbolic, too. Anyway, you said "first two and then three" and that made me think about her dreams of "first two and then three." I wondered if she was dreaming about storms. There have been three major storms that have moved across the USA in the past three weeks. What is really interesting about them is that they are exactly one week apart from each other, like triplets. I don't know if there is a connection here or not but I do see some parallels between your dream and hers. I liked AnotherTraveler's interpretation. When you said "they wouldn't let me talk with him," I thought of the persecution of Christians during the tribulation. Right now, those are the only dots that are connecting. Love ya!
  18. CJ, On a quick read - I have to go get cleaned up for a doc appt for my vertigo - all I see right now are some parallels to Faith's mountaintop dream, the MLK speech about being to the mountaintop and my granddaughter's dream about a tornado coming and her house being "pushed." You said your mom "pushed" your house, so I thought that was interesting. The stories from Matthew could be the storm stories of Jesus and Peter walking on the water, Jesus' calming the storm, etc. I'll try to read it again later and I'll read AnotherTraveler's response then, too. God bless and keep the faith! Hang in there, girl! Love ya!
  19. You are welcome! Although he was certainly not a perfect man, I find his mission and his vision very inspiring. I see him like a modern-day Joshua. We need more visionaries like him. Or, perhaps Moses.
