I get these daily devotionals e-mailed to me and this was particularly good and spoke to my heart today, so I thought I would share it with you: "GIVE.YOUR WORRIES...TO GOD." 1 PETER 5:7 NLT Attention worrywarts! A lady whose friend was a chronic worrier said to her one day, "Do you realize that 80% of the things you worry about never happen?" "See," her friend replied, "it works!" Seriously, Jesus said, "Don't get worked up about what may...happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever...come up" (Mt 6:34 TM). Worry doesn't rid tomorrow of its sorrows, it just robs today of its joy. Plus when you make a mountain out of a molehill you end up having to climb it. A salesman who usually drove an old car and wore outdated clothes turned up at his office one day in a designer suit, driving a BMW. "What happened?" his buddy asked. "Remember how I used to worry about everything?" he said, "Well, I hired a team of professional worriers; now I tell them my problems and they do all my worrying while I go out and sell." "How much do they charge?" his friend asked. "$5,000 a week," he replied. "How can you afford that?" his buddy asked. Smiling he replied, "That's their worry, not mine!" Wouldn't you like to have somebody to handle all your worries? You do; His name is Jesus, and He said, "If you are tired from carrying heavy burdens...I will give you rest" (Mt 11:28 CEV). God promised, "As your day is, so shall your strength...be" (Dt 33:25 AMP). That's because He only gives us today's strength for today's needs. Remember, it's impossible to wring your hands and roll up your sleeves at the same time. So instead of wasting today worrying about tomorrow, "Give...your worries...to God" (1Pe 5:7 NLT), and get busy living the life He gave you to enjoy!

I don't generally get into debates about when Christ will return. I've always kind of just left that up to the Lord when he wants to come back, though I must admit I lean heavily on the post-trib side of the coin. (I would not be disappointed if I was wrong, though.) But, in a recent conversation with someone, the subject of the immanency of Christ's return came into question, so this is my question: If, throughout church history, Christ could have come back at any time, then would that not have obliterated all of the scriptures having to do with the signs of his return whether you are pre, mid or post-trib in your views? I mean, even if you are pre-trib, you still you believe there are "seven years" that follow the rapture, so there has to have been certain prophecies fulfilled leading up even to the rapture, would there not be? I frequent the "Rapture Ready" site because I like to read their news, but even though they are pre-trib, they are still charting the signs of the Lord's return. I mean, I read about the second coming of Christ in the Bible, and there are very clear signs of what must take place before he comes back. I understand that from a pre-trib viewpoint that a lot of those will take place during the tribulation and that the pre-trib view says that Christ returns, essentially, in two stages - one to get his bride and one to get the believers that survived the tribulation and then to destroy the earth, right? But, still, would not the doctrine of Immanency obliterate the need for certain prophecies to be fulfilled even prior to the rapture? I mean, could Christ have returned at any point in church history? And, if so, what about all the prophecies of scripture that tell us what must be in place before his return?

I sence though in my spirit that we are definetly close to some major shaking in our midst. I'm not sure though if it is in the physical realm or in the spiritual realm? I do know that scripture must be fulfilled and there is going to be a shaking. Hebrews 12:27 And this word, yet once more, signefieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. 28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our God is a consuming fire. Though I do not believe now that this was about the antichrist being in place, after having prayed about it, I do believe it has to do with "kings" of the earth working deception against the Lord and that there may be more to this than what meets the eye. There is a reason the Lord is showing me "backwards," and it may not be just about deception, though I think that is certainly the underlying message. I posted another post about the "puzzle pieces" from 2006 and I think there is a message from God in there, perhaps, about the timing of this judgment of God. I will not speculate past what God has revealed, but will let God speak to people's hearts through his Word on this matter. Again, thank you for your input! Love ya, too!!

I inquired of the Lord about this, i.e. the timing of the antichrist, this morning, which is what I should have done before posting it, and I believe he said that the antichrist's, i.e. the beast of Revelation, time has not yet come. So, I will not speculate on this any further.

All I know is "You are here with me, yes, you are here with me" and "I must go through the valley to stand upon the mountain of God." There is also something about the journey being long. Can anyone help with the name of the song and the group that sings it and/or the lyrics?

The "Good News" is that we can be clean right now. "if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. (1 John 1:7) Yes, we CAN! The question is, "WILL WE?"

God is qualified and the Bible says we have the mind of Christ if Christ lives in us. His Holy Spirit will bear witness in our heart when something is of God. I'm certainly not saying that Bill O'Reilly is of God, but that what he said last night bore witness in my heart of what the Lord had been showing me personally concerning not only Gerald Ford but about this "drama" being played out before us. I do believe God orchestrated this whole thing and that there is a message in it for all of us to see and that is that there is a definite line between good and evil but that we have blended the two together. God is also showing us, I believe, the results of those who follow after good versus those who follow after evil. They will both receive their "rewards." One will be honored by God and the other will meet his doom. I believe this is a warning to all of us to stop blending the lines between good and evil and to see that God is drawing the line in the sand here and is asking us to choose which side we are really on.

Did anyone see the Bill O'Reilly show tonight? He did a piece on this subject. It was great! As soon as I can get a transcript of it, I will post the link to it, because it would be worth the read. He is definitely seeing that there is a drama being displayed before us that is a comparison of good and evil and that there is a message in it for all of us. He feels that the lines between good and evil in our society are being blended together. He said it so well. All I could say was "YES!"

You are correct - not one of us is perfect, but I do believe he was a "righteous king" and that he should be honored as such. Not one of us is without error.

AT, I must be faithful, even if the messages are not pleasant. I don't think any of us looks forward to the tribulation or to the coming of the anti-christ, but you are right, these things must take place. We do have much hope in this, though, and that is that it means that we are that much closer to seeing our Lord face to face - how glorious that will be!!

I just had another thought, whether it is from the Lord or not I can not be certain at this point. It was a single piece of the playing puzzle that was put in place when I woke up with that song/Psalm in my head and later on in the day I realized the meaning behind that piece - deception - so I wonder if the Lord may be saying that "the deceiver" is now in place. Two years ago the Lord gave me a vision, well he gave me lots of visions of destruction on the earth but he also gave me visions about the anti-christ. He said "two years" after my son had blown out his other two birthday candles that had been accidently left off the cake, and I wondered the meaning of the "two years." I knew it meant time was short, and I sensed it was somehow connected with the anti-christ. Afterwards, my son, now age 26 who is in the USA Army, said to me, "When is the anti-christ supposed to come?" That was out of nowhere. We had not been talking about it. I truly sensed the Lord just put that in his head. A year later my husband had a vision about red 333 on his alarm clock, it happened again, and again, but the third time the numbers were green again, which is the color of his alarm clock numbers. He said the Lord said that it was half-way to the anti-christ, so I assumed that meant half way of the two years, though I did not know with any certainty. Then, the last day of 2006 the Lord gave me this dream of a puzzle piece being put in place that is associated with deception. So, that makes me wonder if, perhaps, he is saying that the anti-christ is now in place.

I don't think it changed the context of the dream at all. Certainly if we have finally had the wedding of the Lamb with his bride, the Church, and we are all with him for eternity, there would be much peace. Also, water represents the Holy Spirit, and I'm certain he is involved in this whole process. Thank you for your kind words of appreciation.

If that is so, which I believe it is, then he truly has a "brand new bag" and he should be feeling pretty good right now. Is this the song James Brown is the most famous for? Perhaps you have hit on something. Perhaps whatever song the singer is famous for somehow relates to the president who died... perhaps...

Ok, this is what stands out to me, whether it is of the Lord or not, I can not say, but I see these elements that I have underlined: White - symbol of purity, cleanliness, innocence White cake - usually associate with weddings Two layers - Ex. 41:32: "The reason the dream was given to Pharaoh in two forms is that the matter has been firmly decided by God, and God will do it soon." Two layers - Could also represent Jewish Christians and Gentile Christians or could represent Old Covenant and New Covenant - the new covenant is like a layer on top of the old and they come together to make one, just like the Jews and the Gentiles in Christ have come together to make one (one cake). Round/circle - symbol of unity, infinity (w/o beginning or end; perfect); wholeness - also used in wedding ceremony in the giving of rings as a symbol of an everlasting marriage covenant relationship. *My husband adds that it could represent the crown of thorns, the thorns being the "to do" stuff on the edges and it could also represent his crown as he is the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. At the edges - could mean "soon to come", like at the edges of time, perhaps we are nearing the coming of His Kingdom to the earth. Over and over again - I see this as a circle, continuous, ongoing, like round and round, perhaps forever and ever - eternity I believe what God is showing you is that we are "at the edges" of time on the earth (circle can also symbolize earth) and the "wedding of the Lamb" is very soon. I believe our salvation complete is just around the corner. Perhaps as you see these words and their symbolic meanings and as you pray over this that the Lord will grant you additional insight. Luke 21:28: "When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.
