We all die of the flesh, but the saved are born of the Spirit, and to be born a second time of the Spirit means Jesus would have to be crucified again. See Hebrews chapter 6 verse 6. Concerning those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance; seeing they crucify the Son of God for themselves again, and put him to open shame. (Heb 6:4-6 WEB) -

That is true. The Prodigal Son will be welcomed back, but for those who remain outside the fold, the outcome is rather bleak to say the least. -

Born AGAIN means, born again for a Second time. So the apostate cannot be saved a second time. -

Exactly. Apostates. Backsliders. John 6:60-66 shows many disciples leaving Jesus after they cannot digest some of his more difficult teachings. This was before the Holy Spirit indwelling in believers. Galatians 1:6 describes believers who are eagerly abandoning Christ and their faith. 1 Timothy 4:1 says many will fall away in the end times, going after the teachings of demons. 2 Peter 3:17 warns us to stay on guard against false teachings that can cause us to fall away from our faith. Apostasy has always been a problem within the church and will continue into the end days. -

You can't be 'born again' again. That is exactly what Hebrews 6:4 says. “It is impossible to be born again.” For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, (Heb 6:4) -

I know that, no problem at all. The thing is, words, particularly in Hebrew, have several meanings depending on context, and unfortunately the days of creation are much longer than one revolution of the sun round the earth. To give an illustration, if my memory is correct, it takes 300 years for coal to form, and that is only one example. Keep on reading, and may God bless you in your studies. -

For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. (Heb 6:4-6 KJV) For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins, (Heb 10:26 KJV) For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, then, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. 2Pe 2:20-21 These are born again believers Read up on the branches that were cut off. In the meantime, thousands of Jews have been condemned to eternal destruction for hundreds of years. -

Believe what you want. I have no interest in arguments. -
Pagan gods, false gods yes, but only one true God. You know this, so why are you asking?

Perhaps seeking the Lord is like looking for a needle in a haystack? As a child, I simply asked Jesus to come into my heart, and where Jesus is, Satan flees away and the things of earth grow strangely dim as I walk in his footsteps day by day. Since then, it has been a gradual growth in faith, as I put my trust in my friend, saviour, keeper, healer and heavenly Father. May God bless you. Seek the Lord, while he may be found. We only have on average seventy years or less in which to do it. May God bless. PS. Forget the head knowledge, and learn to love Him, for he loved us first.

If Christ dwells in our heart and mind, Satan flees away, and the things of earth will grow strangely dim.
