Lest we forget: Colombian President Petro is a leftist marxist, and the god of this world is the prince of the power of the air- Satan. The schemes of the devil are in the ideology of Marx, and marxist left wing foreign governments like Colombia and China would like nothing more than to see the USA fail. Their (marxist govt's) combine efforts and goal is to flood the USA with fentanyl heroin cocaine and worse to numb a complete generation or two in order to neatly slide into power amother marxist like Obama, except worse, much worse.

Psychedelics for mental health treatment, good or evil?
BornAgain490 replied to Cyoder's topic in General Discussion
It's the Greek word pharmakia that leads me to believe it is big pharm; they are largest single group of advertisers on mainstream media, and they are deceiving the nations I agree. I'm a teetotaler. No worries. -

Some Bible's suggest that the Greek says they were drunk; others suggest that the Greek means they had their fill, not that they were intoxicated or drunk. -

The big pharmacy conglomerates are deceivers and are mentioned in Revelation as sorcerers. (Rev. 18:23). How shameful it is to accuse me of calling everyone on psych meds heathens. Try to stay within yourself. Wine is a natural remedy, and it cures some ailments, but we are not drink to excess and get drunk off of it. You should know this. Your assumption that the weddings guests were drunk is assuming facts not in scripture. Keep to what is written, and stay within yourself. Psychedelics alter the mind. Psych meds alter the mind. Mind altering in both cases is done through chemicals, some naturally occurring and most lab manufactured. When the mind is altered, the demons know and target that altered mind. I know this because I've seen it with my own eyes. Satan is called the god of this world and prince of the power of the air for a reason. And he never rests. -
Perhaps. In any event, we are in Christ, therefore we will tabernacle with Him forever. Amen

The Name of God אהיה pronounced Ey yah I AM

Yes. It's so wonderful to know we have the living Lord God of all creation indwelling us, and reminding us of His presence in our lives with every breath we take. Praise God, and to Him be blessings honor glory and power now and forever. Amen 🙏 🙌 -
Just as God chose the prophets of Old for His sovereign purposes, God chose the Twelve and Paul for His sovereign purposes. From the prophets we have the Tanakh that reveals many things concerning the unveiling of God's plan of redemption; from the four Gospels and the other NT writings we have the complete revelation of God's plan of redemption. The Peace of Christ be with you.

The Name of God אהיה pronounced Ey yah I AM

We don't have any writing from Abraham, but Moses wrote of Abraham, and Moses writes that Abraham did call God YHVH, which means I AM or I WILL BE. I agree. As long as we don't worship any god other than YHVH, the "I AM" of the Bible, and Jesus the Son of YHVH. We can refer to God by more than a dozen names. LORD Adonai El Shaddai El Elyon Elohim El Shammah Yahweh Yehova Shalom Yehova Nissi Yehova Jireh Yehova Sabaoth Yehova Raah Yehova Rapha Yehova Tsidkenu And more... Yehova Shalom be with you. ☝️😊👍 -
There's lots in her message that appeals to the flesh, and there's things in it that one could pick apart, but I'd just respond with an "Amen", then share the gospel of Jesus Christ with her and her audience, then see how she responds and reply to her accordingly. ✌

First used in Genesis 2:4, יהוה pronounced Yud Hey Vav Hey, also means I AM or I WILL BE. -
Imminent. But there are still signs to come, such as the cosmic disturbances mentioned in Matthew 24, Isaiah 13, Joel 2.

Hence the term 'hypothetical' Not all beliefs are true. Did you you believe in Santa Claus as a child? The tooth fairy? Superman? Or when you became an adult, did you believe communism was good (many do)? Or abortion on demand was not evil or sin? Perhaps before you were saved you believed you were good enough? Were any of those things true? Study to show yourself approved unto God, not unto man-made theological doctrine.

This is a typical retort from those that hold to a pretrib rapture: they make pretrib rapture a salvation issue. This is what most don't understand: tribulation is not God's wrath. They are separate and distinct. Before Christ returns, there will be a great falling away. So, in a way, you're right: "shallow" believers will apostacize, and solid Christians that continue to hold to a pretrib rapture will take the apostacize by taking the mark, believing it can't be the mark since they're still here.

Exodus 3:13-14 "Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’" I AM in Hebrew is אהיה and is pronounced Eh yah. When I do a big inhale through my nostrils and a big exhale from my mouth, each time I hear Ey yah - the name of God: Ey yah. "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: ... And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." (Genesis 1:26; 2:7). God is the breath of life, and we say His name with every breath we take.

When people refer to Jesus as "Jesus Christ"...
BornAgain490 replied to Marston's topic in General Discussion
Yeshua ha Mashiach. Jesus the Christ. Jesus. Christ. Lord. God. It's all about Him. -
Consider this hypothetical and all statements in it as true: 1. pretrib rapture is not true; 2. the government mandates compliance with an order to receive a mark in order to buy groceries, pay your electric bill, purchase home heating oil, pay your mortgage or rent, engage in intrastate, interstate, and foreign commerce at every level; 3. refusing to comply with this mandate will result in imprisonment and other punishment; 4. pretrib preachers and teachers convince their congregations using Romans 13 to submit to the government's mandate because; 5. despite being in end times and this mandate pointing to the mark of the beast, they still believe in a pretrib pre-antichrist pre-mark of the beast rapture. Considering all the foregoing statements true, would you follow the advice of your pretrib pastor, or would you call it out as a lie and try to convince as many as you could to refuse the mark?
-
Keep my title to the OP in mind. I call the pretrib rapture a lie. The people that have bought into the lie are deceived. Just like the JW's, LDS, SDA, CS, and others not Christian.
-
Were Joseph Smith and Charles Taze Russell and Ellen G. White and Mary baker Eddy right? Or were they lying. I say that they were all false prophets for profit. Now, if they are knowingly teaching falsehoods, then they are liars, and if their followers believe their lies, then they're deceived, and as Jesus said: they both end up in a ditch. As to pretrib rapture, do your spirit a refreshing by researching the former pretrib rapture preachers and teachers who've moved from pretrib to post-trib or pre-wrath rapture. They'll candidly tell their story that they believed in a pretrib rapture because that's what they were taught, using Scofield's notes, Larkin's charts, and all the dispemsational pretrib teaching available. However, they also candidly say that when they studied the Bible alone, without ths lens of dispensational pretrib, they come to a revelation that it's not taught in the Bible.

Psychedelics for mental health treatment, good or evil?

Psych meds alter the mind and can be an invitation to demonic influence Sorry to hear about your wife. Doctors arent able to diagnose CTE; it's discovered post mortem. When I was a heathen,I relied on psych meds. When I was saved, with God as my guide I weaned off those meds and recommend everyone do the same if you're in Christ. Other meds like antibiotics, pain relievers, and other non-psychotropic meds, anything that does not alter the mind, I am not against. But psychotropic meds like mushrooms lsd, and others, I recommend you stay away from. Hope that helps. -
Or, do you mean by "It begs of strife.", that you want an echo chamber where everyone thinks and speaks like a premillenial dispensationalist pretribulationist? I cant think of anything more boring on an open Christian forum...
-
Is this your way of saying, "Too bad them in Congo. I know that won't happen to me, because I'm going in the rapture."???
-
Please explain what you mean by that.

All of God's elect whom He chose for salvation before He created the world will be saved, and there's nothing anyone can do prevent it.
