Dear abbershay, Just go to the thread on WOF teachers and click on any of the links there and read what these teachers are actually teaching, sit and reflect quietly in your heart, be open minded. I also have had to be open minded on this matter and seek the Lord in prayer for the truth. Have you sought God in ferent prayer in reference to this matter? and then prayerfully waited for Him to show you anything He may want to? Do not make any judgements without first seeking our Heavenly Father in prayer...you know your own heart and so does God. I do not. I am only asking you if this is what you have done. Hi abbershay, Love is not something that makes you all fuzzy inside with romantisims being told to you about heaven...and the like. Love is not in material things. Love is not the WOF teacher coming and decieving you with false doctrines. Love is a brother endevouring to point you in the right direction because he's been there he knows. Love is dicipline from our Heavenly Father when we do wrong or stray of the track. Love is suffering in Gethsemene sweating as it were great drops of blood. Love is being spat upon punched and having your face so battered and bruised that you are not even recognizable. Love is hanging on a cross. Hi mom2three, It just saddens me so much to see these poor people being duped out of their money that the Lord has blessed them with to live on. You would think that with all their (WOF teachers) 'so called' knowledge that they would know they are but standing on a precipice and at any given moment our Lord could snuff them out in 'the twinkling of an eye. Yet their heart is so attached to the things of this world and has obviously blinded them and it seems to me they will use any means to get $'s. Reminds me of a documentary I saw once on Adolf Hitler. He was travelling in his very up-market flashy train going somewhere and the time he was eating his dinner and drinking from his crystal goblet glass and his train passed another train going in the opposite direction (both cars were travelling at a slow pace) carry Jews to their death. The Jews were crammed into these rail-cars in such squalor and filth with men/women/children dying starving and in desparation eating their own feaces. As Hitlers rail car passed by he said to one of his henchmen, "Oh look entertainment" and to this other persons utter surprise Hitler seemed to enjoy eating his food even more while looking at the Jews. Our God is a God of Justice and when the time comes He will mete out that justice accordingly Amen! In Christ Guessa

Dear Cat's, Yes this is a very good post and study - we all need to come before God and ask Him to examine our hearts to see what is there likewise King David: Psa 26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. If our hearts be right before God our speech also will follow. Psa 90:8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance. Even as the children of God we have at some time or another hidden secrets. The toungue surely is a problem even for the elect. One problem I can think of is gossiping, now some like to call it - 'sharing' but I would think that if someone has shared something with us that is personal to them, is it then right that we 'share' that with someone else? I think not - All the scriptures in this tread have and are a blessing Amen! and as we read them I think it would be wise for us to come to God in prayer and ask Him to examine our hearts and show us if there be anything there that needs repenting of. Satan is very subtle and will often whisper to us that it is just 'sharing' or you just have to tell this other person so they can 'pray' hmmmm...let us be very careful. Yes Neb, I agree with you, that would be interesting... Patsy - Some poor old people gave their food money to these WOF people and then had to eat canned DOG FOOD..God forbid! oh my oh dear I just shudder to think what dicipline awaits these thieves. Hi Coolwaters, Yep I tend to agree with your study on these verses... God knows the heart of man the mind of man the intentions of man. Man only sees the outward God sees the inward and He will judge... Thank God that in His grace He convicts our conscience so we may confess our sin (well those of us who choose to anyway) and escape His coming judgement. Thanks for your post Oh one more thing, I believe that the law if what your referring to is the 10 commandments where given by God to show us that we cannot keep them thereby showing us the need of our Saviour who was the ONLY ONE that fullfilled that law...there are other cammandments as well...love thy neighbour...pray for your enemies....do not lust after a woman by looking at her...(a secret sin!) etc etc etc...but Christ has fullfilled all and through Him we have the priveledge of coming before His throne for forgiveness when ever we are convicted of breaking any of these commandments... Dear Cats What a sensitive heart you have, how wonderful and a blessing. If this is what our Lord would have you to do then do it...all with prayer before His throne of grace and He will guide you. You have to know in your own heart if this is our Lord truly calling you to this much needed mission as you look to Him in prayer He will make it clear to your spirit and you will know... If however you are still usure then just 'wait' Remember dear sis 'prayer availeth much' some of God's precious ones who cannot get out and about because of possible physical disabilities have many times been called by our Lord to simply pray in earnest and consistently for such a mission... Prayer is a powerful tool indeed. I am restricted because of financial limitations yet the Lord has given me many to pray for and about and I have seen changes in progress... Greetings Godman... Thanks so much for all your input here it's been very informative. I do believe what you say is the truth as it lines up entirely with scripture as far as I can see. I thank God that in His mercy and grace He opened your eye's to the truth. In New Zealand we dont really get TBN unles you have a really good satellite system, but when I was in Canada and the US I did watch some of it and it just did not seem quite right to me... I have always been an avid reader...(book mad) so I do believe that our Lord in my case used this desire to constantly check and re-check what some so-called Christians were saying... aside of my bible my strongs concordance greek and hebrew have been a great source to me over the years.... I am a great believe in thinking that all Christians need to have their own personal relationship with Christ and 'study to show thyself approved.... May God continue to bless you brother and all glory and praise to Him for bringing you out of such a decietful enviroment. Greetings Patsy and Gary, WOW is our Lord going to use you both to help His poor deceived children out of the mess they gotten themselves into. I personally support you both teaching Christians like me who really have no idea what this/that 'stuff' is all about. It was an eye opener for me just to read your last 2 posts...I knew it was "off" but I did not realize how off! and it has/will lead me to the throne of grace (now that has got to be a good thing) Romans 8:28 tells us that God will bring all together for good...and I truly believe He will use your experience and testimony and witness of these things for His good and to His glory. I for one think you should go for it and start a thread. I have never been involved in that type of hmmmmmm....not quite sure what to call it anyways in that type of stuff (thanks to God) (if left to myself I'd be into all sorts) But I have wondered and looked at it from a distance...it just never seemed quite right to me... But I think it is needfull for young Christians (and older ones to) to know from those who have experienced 'that sort of thing' first hand what it's all about. It is a good thing for us to be aware of Satan and his tactics so we are better able to 'watch and pray' I would say I would have a lot to learn from your experiences.
