  3. George, Thats great and so true. Is seems that just when you think (and probably have) forgiven something done to you..wham! something else happens and so on and so on and I guess it is the Lord teaching us forgiveness and the freedom that brings and blesses us with. That satan is such a wyly clever thing ever looking us up and down searching for a way to bring us to an end... You know I find that when I am close to our Father and feeling secure with Him, that is the time when things happen, and really it is of no surprise is it? that satan and his demon hordes would choose the right moment to attack and malign God's children... Thanks for your topic George it has bought a fresh focus for me that I may have over looked in the past day or so. Blessings F1

  5. I agree with you Steve! there are many in the church and a few on this board that call you brother/sister and then turn around and stab you it's horrid! But God knows who you are and his truth always prevails in the end. F1
  6. Amen to your post UnworthyS! So very true! Like RGR what is there to add? nothing but thanks to God! F1
  7. RGR old married man indeed lol Well I have actually joined a Christian site for singles and a couple of others but I'm just not to sure about all this online dating stuff anyway it's quite interesting actually but I have not seen the link your talking about...where is it exactly?
  8. Oh Sagz no sorry's needed your such a sweetheart I know where you were coming from it is me that needs to write more clearly I bet you are looking forward to the 20 Dec...how blessed you are...I have thanked the Lord for you and your wife to be....I know u will be a wonderful Chistian husband... Bless you brother faith1
  9. Steve - good advice brother, very true
  10. Sagz Brother, Very true I agree with everthing you say, and I have done that, still am doing that, but I dont see the harm in asking other peoples thoughts on this matter. That is not to say I am wholly consumed with the idea of searching out the right guy all the time...and when I do become that way our Father soon whispers lovingly to me and tells me to leave it in His hands and focus on Him. Absolutely God first in everything, I sure dont do that in any consistent manner I'm not that great! lol but I am ever learning and our Father is oh so patient with me. Thanks a bunch for your thoughts Sagaz, your great brother!
  11. Thanks Neb. I tend to agree with you. When it comes to men I'm a bit fussy I guess been burnt already dont want to be burnt again Ouch.... Love Ya Faith1
  12. Okay everyone who wants to give me some advice, although I have had some great advice from 2 wonderful sisters in Christ, but more would be kinda interesting. I am not made to be alone I have acepted that fact now, just as I said to the Lord after my first child was born "Okay that's it, it's to painful no more kids Lord' now 3 kids later....lol Same thing I said after my marrige break up no more Lord I wanna be on my own it's to painful - yeah sure so my question is what are the right and biblical ways of finding that right person God would have you be with? I know there maybe some here that are against remarriage and that's okay but I am not! so having said that... Yes I have prayed about this - yes I realize the Lord will bring him (whoever he is) along in His time...but is it wrong to go looking? So that is basically my question here! Is it wrong to go looking for that right guy or should one just sit and wait for God to just drop him into my life? What do you all think? Thanks Faith1
  13. Amen Sagz CONGRADULATIONS for 20 Dec... Faith1
  14. That was supposed to read a 45 day to 75 day Post-Post Rapture theory. I still don't have time to write this out since I have to get to work now. Gary did break his foot. It is now broken in three different places. Ouch! Gotta go! Dove - Gary broke his foot? :x: Oh my is he okay? Sheeeesh! Sorry folks to be coming in late on this discussion...still reading... Faith1
  15. I would say witness to him and then leave it all in the Lord's hands...I know how you feel cause I've been there myself. We can speak the truth about Christ but it is the Holy Spirit that does the drawing and convicting Amen! Bless you Faith1
  16. Yes I am just getting the evening meal (dinner) it's 6:45pm I'm a little late with dinner, but the boys are playing games so it's all good lol...the suns stilll shinnning and it's been a beautiful summers day :il:
  17. LOL sis I forget you are all on a different time zone to me, only early evening here on Sunday...it is a little in depth better to leave till later. I will look for scrip also... I'm back to peeling those potatoes now lol for a bit. Faith1
  18. No sis you have not confused me at all I do undestand what you are saying. Thanks so much for your input and I think I really do need to look into this issue with more depth. I guess I am just a wee bit relunctant to the thought of not undestanding what it is I am saying while praying in another language. My thinking is that our Father has given us the gift of comprehension and therefore I must use it and I cant do that if I dont even understand what's coming out of my own mouth. Obviously I have much to learn in this area. I do believe that even the english words that we use (or whatever language we speak) in prayer are taken by God the Holy Spirit and used in a right way, because of the fact at times we do not know what to pray or how to, even if we ask 'amiss' He takes that prayer also I believe and Christ will intecede on our behalf because of uour human weakness...sheeesh am I making any sense lol It's abit wee bit like the congregation I hear of praying for their pastors healing as he was near death, well he was healed by our Father taking him home to be with Himself in glory. Surely the ultimate healing. But because of our humanity we limit healing to the petitions that we may live still in this life. But the Holy Spirit took the prayers of that congregation, offered them to God in the way they should be and the pastor was taken home. The congregation went on inspite of their grief and truly did some wonderful works for the Lord Amen... Anyways, I think I'm babbling... Bless you Faith1
  19. My Sister, I do remember you mentioning this to me before in a PM and I thought then as I do now what an amazing experience that must have been for you and Gary. I have never experienced anything quite so damatic...maybe there's something wrong with me you think? well hold on...dont answer that, cause there is a lot wrong with me LOL but our Father is working on me. Thank you for explaining the different baptism for me and I will go back and read JIG's post, I'm a wee bit green when it comes to this stuff Love Ya Faith1
  20. Hi All, This thread seems like an interesting discussion, I know I'm a wee bit late coming into it and still have much reading of posts to do, but my understanding of the baptism of the Holy Spirit would be in reference to Christ water baptism, but I am sure there was more to it than just that. I am interested to see other views in regards to being 'baptized in the spirit' I wont go off and chase the 'ghost' - 'spirit' wording I think Journey (steve) seems to have cleared that one up. Bless all Faith1
  21. Hi HisGirl, Well I clicked on 'separated/divorced' because that is what I am about to be. Divorced for the 2nd time The Lord is teaching me much in being godly. Some may say, "well how can you be godly if you have been/will be divorced 2x"? Well we can be. By learning at the feet of Christ. I am a great believer in Romans 8:28 and I have learnt much from my trials failures pain and hurt and I have much more to learn Amen! I use to think that being godly meant that you did not sin and you did everything the 'right way' and of course that is true God desires us not to sin against Him and our fellow man/woman. However I also believe now that godliness starts from within, which will as we learn be manifested without. It surely is not my intention to be divorced 2x but every person has the freedom to choose and make a decision and we are to respect anothers choice. Sheeeeeesh what's wrong with her being divorced 2x she must have a problem...I have heard this said about me, yet I leave those kinda comments to our Father. He knows me and He knows all the details of what happened and He desires me to continue on looking to Him the Author and Finisher of my Faith. Amen In Christ Faith1
  22. Lisha sweetheart, I will be praying for you too and I have been. The Lord has you in His sights and in His hands Amen! I love you Faith1
