KJV and Strongs, and all the insight that the Lord has given to me over the past ten years. see if you can get into my url ---- I'm computer illiterate I just realized that I did not tell you that the tools are on my personal copy of a program called The Bible Collection Delux

I'm not perfect by any means. All that I can do is to give according to the way that I have received it from God. The bottom line is that it does not matter how the Lord gets the knowledge and understanding into the man, just so that he gets it accurately. I assure you that I trust the Lord to keep a watch over my mouth, in this case spoken with my fingers. Thank you for the constructive criticism.

Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. written - g1125 - to commit to writing (things not to be forgotten), write down, record word - g4487 - that which is or has been uttered by the living voice, thing spoken, word, any sound produced by the voice and having definite meaning, speech, discourse, what one has said, a series of words joined together into a sentence, (a declaration of one's mind made in words), an utterance, a saying of any sort as a message, a narrative concerning some occurrence, subject matter of speech, thing spoken of, so far forth, as it is a matter of narration so far, as it is a matter of command, a matter of dispute, case at law mouth - g4750 - the mouth, as part of the body: of man, of animals, of fish, etc. since thoughts of a man's soul find verbal utterance by his mouth, the "heart" or "soul" and the mouth are distinguished the edge of a sword God - g2316 - god or goddess, a general name of deities or divinities the Godhead, trinity God the Father, the first person in the trinity Christ, the second person of the trinity Holy Spirit, the third person in the trinity spoken of the only and true God, refers to the things of God his counsels, interests, things due to him, whatever can in any respect be likened unto God, or resemble him in any way God's representative or viceregent of magistrates and judges When read with the meanings applied; Matt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, that it be not forgotten Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that which is or has been uttered by the living voice that proceedeth out of the mouth thoughts of a man's soul find verbal utterance by his mouth of God. refers to the things of God his counsels, interests, things due to him How does this apply to me? This tempter that Yeshua was talking to was a human being, someone who was famliar with the scriptures. He reminded this man that the reason things of God are written down is so that they will not be forgotten. Man was never supposed to forget that

Matt 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread. tempter - g3985 - to try whether a thing can be done, to attempt, endeavour to try, make trial of, test: for the purpose of ascertaining his quantity, or what he thinks, or how he will behave himself, in a good sense in a bad sense, to test one maliciously, craftily to put to the proof his feelings or judgments, to try or test one's faith, virtue, character, by enticement, to sin, to solicit, to sin, to tempt, of the temptations of the devil, after the OT usage of God: to inflict evils upon one in order to prove his character and the steadfastness of his faith, men are said to tempt God by exhibitions of distrust, as though they wished to try whether he is not justly distrusted by impious or wicked conduct, to test God's justice and patience, and to challenge him, as it were to give proof of his perfections. Son - g5207 - ......... those who in character and life resemble God, those who are governed by the Spirit of God, repose the same calm and joyful trust in God which children do in their parents, and hereafter in the blessedness and glory of the life eternal will openly wear this dignity of the sons of God; used preeminently of Jesus Christ, as enjoying the supreme love of God, united to him in affectionate intimacy, privy to his saving councils, obedient to the Father's will in all his acts God - g2316 - god or goddess, a general name of deities or divinities the Godhead, trinity God the Father, the first person in the trinity Christ, the second person of the trinity Holy Spirit, the third person in the trinity spoken of the only and true God, refers to the things of God his counsels, interests, things due to him, whatever can in any respect be likened unto God, or resemble him in any way God's representative or viceregent of magistrates and judges When read with the meanings applied; Matt 4:3 And when the tempter (to tempt God by exhibitions of distrust, as though they wished to try whether he is not justly distrusted, by impious or wicked conduct) came to him, he said, If thou be the Son (those who in character and life resemble God, those who are governed by the Spirit of God, repose the same calm and joyful trust in God which children do in their parents), of God (refers to the things of God his counsels, interests, things due to him), command that these stones be made bread. How does this apply to me? Yeshua did not go to the tempter, just as God does not go to the tempter. Yeshua told us that he was sent only to the children of God. The tempter came to Yeshua. If I am to be like minded with Yeshua, wholly conformed to the will of God, I will not go to the tempter. I am sent only to the children of God, and those who have not truly repented are not God

Matt 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. Strong's; fasted - g3522 - to abstain as a religious exercise from food and drink: either entirely, if the fast lasted but a single day, or from customary and choice nourishment, if it continued several days days - g2250 - metaph., "the day" is regarded as the time for abstaining from indulgence, vice, crime, because acts of the sort are perpetrated at night and in darkness nights - g3571 - metaph. the time when work ceases, the time of death, the time for deeds of sin and shame, the time of moral stupidity and darkness, the time when the weary and also the drunken give themselves up to slumber hungred - g3983 - metaph. to crave ardently, to seek with eager desire When read with the meanings applied; Matt 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungered. How does this apply to me? Yeshua was wholly conformed to the will of God. Since the chosen fast of God is the fast described in Isaiah 58:6, the fast that Yeshua was actually doing was the fast that God has chosen.

Studying Matthew 1 together with the meaning of names taught me how iportant it is to know what the names mean when I study the scriptures. Type and shadow in Matthew 2, through the birth of Yeshua the child, showed me the steps to take to begin my own salvation baptism in the name of Yeshua. In Matthew 3, the steps involved in repenting sin were revealed to me. Because the step by step process of following the Lord Yeshua is beginning to unfold right before my eyes, I expect to learn how to overcome temptation through continuing to study Matthew 4 in the same maner. Who better to give me the perfect example than Yeshua Christ. Matt 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil. Strong's; Yeshua - h3442 - he will save Jesus - h2424 - Jehovah-saved Spirit - g4151 - the third person of the triune God, the Holy Spirit, coequal, coeternal with the Father and the Son sometimes referred to in a way which emphasises his personality and character, sometimes referred to in a way which emphasises his work and power (the Spirit of Truth) never referred to as a depersonalised force. wilderness - h2048 - .... used of persons deserted by others, deprived of the aid and protection of others, especially of friends, acquaintances, kindred, bereft; of a flock deserted by the shepherd, of a woman neglected by her husband, from whom the husband withholds himself ... tempted - g3985 - to try whether a thing can be done, to attempt, endeavour to try, make trial of, test: for the purpose of ascertaining his quantity, or what he thinks, or how he will behave himself, in a good sense, in a bad sense, to test one maliciously, craftily to put to the proof his feelings or judgments, to try or test one's faith, virtue, character, by enticement, to sin, to solicit, to sin, to tempt, of the temptations of the devil after the OT usage of God: to inflict evils upon one in order to prove his character and the steadfastness of his faith, men are said to tempt God by exhibitions of distrust, as though they wished to try whether he is not justly distrusted, by impious or wicked conduct, to test God's justice and patience, and to challenge him, as it were to give proof of his perfections devil - g1228 - prone to slander, slanderous, accusing falsely, a calumniator, false accuser, slanderer, metaph. applied to a man who, by opposing the cause of God, may be said to act the part of the devil or to side with him When read with the meanings applied; Matt 4:1 Then was Jesus (Jehovah-saved) led up of God

Keeping in mind that I am looking at type and shadow of my own salvation, I need to remember that this chapter is taking place shortly after the Lord calls his husbandmen out of God

I suggest you all check back over the boards for the last few weeks, to see if you can find someone who did not accuse anyone of anything. Then read Rev 12 to find out where the battle is fought, and when salvation comes, and you will find that the battle is fought between God's "angels" and Satan's angels. And salvation comes when the ACCUSER OF THE BRETHREN ARE CAST OUT.

You should be aware by now what I believe. My method of study may be unconvintional, but by it the Lord has taught me more truth ten years, than I learned in church all my life

Mt 2:23 And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene. Strong

MT 2:21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of Israel. Strong's; Israel - 2474 - he shall be a prince of God When read with the meanings applied; MT 2:21 And he arose, and took the young child and his mother, and came into the land of he shall be a prince of God (Israel). How does this apply to me? The true husbandmen of Yeshua's vineyard RISE UP, taking the young church and the rebelling against false doctrines that is her mother into manifested salvation among the people, which is the kingdom of heaven. MT 2:22 But when he heard that Archelaus did reign in Judaea in the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee: Strong's; Archelaus - 745 - prince of the people Judaea - 2449 - he shall be praised Herod - 2264 - heroic Galilee - 1056 - Circuit When read with the meanings applied; MT 2:22 But when he heard that prince of the people (Archelaus) did reign in he shall be praised (Judaea) in the room of his father heroic (Herod), he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned of God in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of circuit (Galilee): How does this apply to me? The princes of God are the ones who personally believe Yeshua because they have been in his presence long enough to understand his teachings. The prince of the people does not know the Lord, even though he might be able to quote verses of scripture from the bible. The princes of the people are praised as heros, and reign according to the worldly heros before them. The false prophets of organized religion have been afraid to go before the wordly heros. The DEAD IN CHRIST ignore the warnings that God sends to them in dreams, and turn aside into the circuit of the heathen. The king of heaven is praised for his reign over the body of Christ. Their husbandmen fear (reverence) the Lord, and are not afraid to be conspicuous in their stand. They hear the dream warnings of God, and go into the special circuit of God.

MT 2:19 But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, MT 2:20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of Israel: for they are dead which sought the young child's life. Strong's; Herod - 2264 - heroic angel - 32 - a messenger, envoy, one who is sent, an angel, a messenger from God Joseph: 2501- let him add Egypt - 125 - double straits Israel - 2474 - he shall be a prince of God When read with the meanings applied; MT 2:19 But when heroic (Herod) was dead, behold, a messenger (an angel) of the Lord appeareth in a dream to let him add (Joseph) in double straights (Egypt), MT 2:20 Saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and go into the land of he shall be a prince of God (Israel): for they are dead which sought the young child's life. How does this apply to me? Many of the Herods of organized religion will realize just in time that they are DEAD IN CHRIST. When these have repented, the Lord will send his messenger to the husbandmen of the congregations who have been performing the chosen fast of the Lord. Those husbandmen will be told to RISE UP, and take the young body of salvation and their rebellion his mother, and go into the land of he shall be a prince of God, the kingdom of heaven on earth. For they are dead (they no longer exist as enemies), which sought the young child's life
