  1. Petri, It truly is a delight to meet someone who is filled with the Holy Spirit of God. May God pour out blessings upon you in abundance! AMEN! Your Sister in Christ, Anne
  2. We need to be very observant in all these things. Do the Christian people who come to post on Christian message boards realize that it is not a game? Or do they respond to trolls many times as devils casting out devils? Can we expect anything more from them that sit on the sidelines, when they see us verbally wounding the injured, whose spiritual wounds we refuse to dress, even after we make the injuries ourselves? Can we really blame them for not wanting to get involved in the EXTERNAL battle that we have not yet won INTERNALLY? That
  3. It is also time that we all become honest with ourselves. Look back on this list and you will discover that the list does not describe the Church of Yeshua, but the LACK OF ONE.
  4. Disagree. Some parts of Christianity may be confused. But overall this is not the case at all. If Yeshua's doctrine is the only one that is true, and we all agree that it is, how can all the other ones not be confusion? True. But what makes you believe that I am out to deceive you? What gave you the idea that I believe you are out to deceive me? Not true. I would only deceive you if I were in error, or if I have some ulterior motive. If I am well grounded in Biblical truth, and allow the Spirit to teach me proper doctrine, then I do not have to worry about deceiving you. What is the plumb line that tells you that you are not in error? I'm not saying that you are in error about all things, all of us are in error about some things. Don't you know that the tares will be harvested first, and burned? Don't you understand that if you have been deceived by someone who was already deceived, you would have been made twofold the child of hell thay they were? Don't you know that judgement begins in the pulpit? If you were in error and didn't know it, wouldn't you still make me twofold the child of hell that you were, if I listened to you? Again, if you are deceived in the first place, it is unlikely that you would be actively monitoring yourself from deceiving others. Do you monitor yourself daily? I do. Correct. 4&5 Suzanne cought my error "first responsibility". Which puts in agreement. Not true. Mistaken assumption. Our example in Paul suggests to us that we should actively point out, and condemn heresy and deception; in other words, call it as we see it. Furthermore, it is our responsibility to discern the spirits, and cast out the false ones from the church. Pointing out deception is not in any way equal to blaspheming the Holy Spirit. Paul was talking about condemning heresy and deception against Yeshua's Church, which is rempant in this generation. He was not referring to heresies against religion in general, which are also running rampant. Therefore, it is not my responsibility to condemn you as deceived already. Because we should all work together to to varify Yeshua's doctrine, even if varifying his doctrine means throwing out things that we have believed for centuries. And we can not do that through any denomination. We have to do that through the scriptures, one verse at a time whether we like it or not. Disagree. It is your responsibility to continue in the fellowship and teaching of the apostles (Acts 2:42; 1 Tim. 4:6; 2 Tim. 3:10). The message of the Gospel has been static from the day of the Lord
  5. Calamity and Gary and Kevin and Wayne, I have tried to explain again and again my stand on this issue. But all of you close your ears because you have your own predetermined stand. The bible says that as a man thinks so is he. Your toughts are you as an individual. My thoughts are me as an individual. In the same manner, the ways of God are God. God's thoughts are God. Yeshua was the son of man, a man. And the only verse of scripture that I can find where God said who Yeshua was, God called Yeshua his son. God filled Yeshua's heart and mind with God's word. YESHUA'S THOUGHTS IS WHO YESHUA IS as an individual. A man who is filled with the thoughts of God to such an extent that he EMBODIES that word IS diety. Yeshua had the mind of God because God gave Yeshua his own thoughts. Yeshua gave us the mind that was in him, if we are willing to receive it, the mind of God. Therefore, if we say that Yeshua was God, then we have to say that we are God too, because we have the same thoughts within us as he had within him. At least, those of us who have really listened to him do. Yeshua did not think it robbery to be equal with God, because it was from God that the word came to Yeshua. I do not think it robbery to be equal to Yeshua because Yeshua said that "it is enough for the student to be AS his Master. If I call Yeshua God, how can I be made equal to Yeshua and NOT CALL MYSELF GOD? Now! If I have not sinned against you, why do you slap me with your words?
  6. Where did I say that. But it IS supposed to be ONE BODY, ONE MIND shared by the many, and that the mind of CHRIST. My apologies. Miscommunication. Forgot to proofread. Yes, but since we are dealing qwith human beings, if we think that a wolf has slipped into the sheepfold, we are supposed to 1)confront him in private first 2)take a witness with us to confront him 3)take him before the whole Church. We are not supposed to take him before the whole church on the first step. these are the steps for protecting others.
  7. Examine the scriptures to prove what was said whether or not you think that you are being deceived. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, you know.
  8. Correction in blue Where Christianity is concerned; 1. The overall body of so-called Christianity is very confused. 2. It is my first responsibility to make sure that you do not deceive me. It is your firstresponsibility to make sure that you do not deceive me. 3. It is my firstresponsibility to make sure that I do not deceive you. It is your firstresponsibility to make sure that I do not deceive you 4. It is not my firstresponsibility to make sure that others do not deceive you. That is the firstresponsibility of others. And it is your firstresponsibility to make sure that others do not deceive you. 5. It is not your firstresponsibility to make sure that others do not deceive me. That is the firstresponsibility of others. And it is my firstresponsibility to make sure that others do not deceive me. 6. It is not my responsibility to condemn you as deceived. You might be filled with the Holy Spirit, and me not aware of the fact. In which case I would have blasphemed the Holy Ghost. It is not your responsibility to condemn me as deceived. I might be filled with the Holy Spirit, and you not aware of the fact. In which case you would have blasphemed the Holy Ghost. 7. It is my firstresponsibility to deliver the gospel according only to what the Holy Spirit has taught me. It is your firstresponsibility to deliver the gospel according only to what the Holy Spirit has taught you. 8. If every member of the body will be determined to take up his own responsibilities, and leave the responsibilities of everyone else to them, the body can be free to grow in leaps and bounds. Island Rose said; Amen. And we are not supposed to accept just anything taught from the pulpit wither, by try the spirit of those speakers also. Jesusisgod2 Thank you, Jesusisgod2. This is what I was looking for. We are to varify by the scriptures and not by man's theologies.
  9. Hello Rick Thid is the very reason that Yeshua told Nicodemus that he must be born again. Micodemus has allowed other doctrines to "dilute" the truth of God. He had been BORN to the doctrines that the Herodians were defiling the temple with. Therefore, he must be born again, unlearning the doctrines of the Herodians and relearning the doctrines in the scriptures. Amen! I discovered this truth when I realized that there were so many Christians wthat would say, "I can't understand this verse." If they had not been deceived that they were saved, they would have understrood by the time a few weeks had gone by.
  10. Hello All, I'd like to know whether you all agree with the following please. Where Christianity is concerned; 1. The overall body of so-called Christianity is very confused. 2. It is my responsibility to make sure that you do not deceive me. It is your responsibility to make sure that you do not deceive me. 3. It is my responsibility to make sure that I do not deceive you. It is your responsibility to make sure that I do not deceive you 4. It is not my responsibility to make sure that others do not deceive you. That is the responsibility of others. And it is your responsibility to make sure that others do not deceive you. 5. It is not your responsibility to make sure that others do not deceive me. That is the responsibility of others. And it is my responsibility to make sure that others do not deceive me. 7. It is my responsibility to deliver the gospel according only to what the Holy Spirit has taught me. It is your responsibility to deliver the gospel according only to what the Holy Spirit has taught you. 8. If every member of the body will be determined to take up his own responsibilities, and leave the responsibilities of everyone else to them, the body can be free to grow in leaps and bounds.
  11. If you will all read all the posts in this thread you can discover that each of you have spoken in agreement with your denominations, while I have spoken in agreement with the scriptures. Again, the title of this thread is WORDS SHOW FORTH THE SPIRIT OF THE MAN (the man who speaks the words.)
  12. Hello George, The arms of the Lord are also those who are obedient to do his bidding.
  13. -Sorry FEW--BUT you are in ERROR---your understanding of scripture{which you say is"first-hand"} -uhhh??? you "learned" from WHO??first-hand?? SInce you seem to state you received from NO- -MAN--what you've "learned" just EXACTLY from whom did you receive all your interpretations???? -{GOD creates??}whatsoever we ASK BELIEVING???mmmmmm--hmmmmm--o.k. splain that teaching -plee-zeee??The only one-person that states HE learned his understanding of the scriptures{from -a first-hand source} was -Paul,who states HE spent several years learning from GOD Himself-- -GAL.1.vss.6.thru.24-But what Paul did was UNlearn the jewish LAW or rather learned the "true -meaning"of the law & -that it all "pointed"to JESUS...Then he went to jerusalem to see Peter & -James the LORDS Brother..But he states clearly that IF any comes preaching ANY-OTHER gospel -than what Paul has preached-"taught" let them be accursed--GAL.1---SO the clear intention of -these scriptures is that WE are -to LEARN from the scriptures that are taught by GOD-called-GOD- -sent-MEN of GOD.WE are to"learn"-from men{qualified by GOD}& from the HOLY-SPIRIT who will -guide us into all truth-- so for you to -state you learned{what you know--about the scriptures}- -from a {first-hand-source??}- is just a mite scary-"unless of course your name is -Paul & YOU -were -caught up to the -third heaven"...2nd.cor.12.---- -SCARY--in that your explanations of scripture are entirely "different" than accepted" & clearly -understood by scripture interpretating or explaining scripture.. First hand - taught the scripture by the Holy Spirit Second hand - taught by man from scripture.
  14. God-man, After reading over all the posts here again, I've come to the conclusion that you believe one thing, and I believe another, and neither of us will ever convince the other via postings. So, for the body's sake, I ask that we discontinue this particular discussion. My belief is first hand belief. By that I mean that I have sat under no man's doctrine. Would you mind telling me, is your belief first hand? or second hand under the minitry of another man?
  15. -Few -----I am sorry but this is "NEW-AGE-phylosophy"--doctrine--teaching-----IT is a"perversion" of -GOD'S WORD---MAN does NOT HAVE a "creative-force"in the words he speaks!!!!MAN--WE--YOU-- -ME-Patsy---calamity--ron--WE do NOT create something every time we speak a word!!!!!Please -believe me, I am NOT trying to ridicule you or trying to make you look silly...I do NOT like to tell -anyone what they are teaching is WRONG, but I am WARNED by GOD to sound the alarm when the -enemy{false-wrong-unBiblical-teachings are being promoted}Ezekiel.33.vss.1.thru.9---A watchman -GOD-BLESS-ALL-TRUTH-SEEKERS----------------Gary-- Hi Shadow, Whatsoever we say believing is given to us by the Father. God creats whatsoever we say believing. WHATSOEVER does not leave ANYTHING out. The trouble is that most men and women don't take the time to realize that they seldom open their mouths to say anything that they are not believing at the time they say it. And then when they get the opposite of what they thought they prayed for, they want to blame it on the devil coming against them. The book of James explains every bit of this in detail. And the tongue is a FIRE, a world of iniquety, so it the tongue among our members, that it defiles the whole body, and SETS ON FIRE the course of nature, and it is set on fire of HELL.
  16. Hello God-man, I really am not that easy to offend. Jo 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. God is Spirit. The origin of all things was the Spirit of God. God expressed his Spirit with audible words. In the beginning, God SAID let there be light and there was light. And every word that God spoke in the creation of all things in the world was in agreement with the Spirit (heart, will) of God, and every word that God spoke was the Spirit of God in action. From the moment he created light, until he created man, and on until the fall of man through the word of God coming from the mouth of man, God created all things BY HIS SPIRIT.
  17. Rick, Just try to remember that because we strive to serve God to the best of our ability, we are dealing with the spiritual things of God. Most people overlook that. And in learning the spiritual things of God, it is not always the person who is speaking, or posting in this case, who is the offender. I am neither accusing you, nor defending myself in that statement, but merely asking you to also search yourself while you search me for the reason the alarms sounded. Rick, I'v raised 13 childen, (not all of them my own), and have helped to raise 11 grandchildren. I am very familiar with the personal attack thing, along with quite a few more such attitudes. Doesn't phase me personally, 'cause I don't look at it as personal attack. But we are all Christian people here, and all of us should make every effort to sound like Christians at all times. To see what I am referring to, try putting yourself in the place of the next poster (other than myself) who posts something that the greater percent of the body does not agree with, and see if you can also test the spirit of the majority while testing the spirit of the one they disagree with. I don't feel inadiquate. I don't feel seen less than I should be. I don't feel unaccepted. And the things that I have said are only wrong in the minds of those who have sifted it through their own doctrines, rather than having sifted it through the scriptures themselves. I totally agree. And the truth is that each of us has that part of the truth that the Lord has given to each. I have driven a truck with my husband for a living for the past 10 years. I average listening to the entire bible every 52 waking hours. That is 25 times per year. And I assure you, Rick, when anyone hears the word of God that consistantly, they have foud the vestiblue of heaven. with the hope that the enlightening we receive is only from God's word, and in the context that He intended But most slam the door on this, because it does not agree with the doctrines they have already been taught.
  18. Hello Cats, Few: You're a little over my head, too. It is realy not that hard to follow. I have a hard time taking every word literally. You should hear my husband and I when we're "horsing around" with each other. And you were in the spirit of play, horsing around. Men refer to the spirit in which they do things as emotions. But when angry words are spoken, they are spoken in the soirit of anger. When jealous words are spoken they are spoken in the spirit of jealousy. The same for love; compassion; hate; resentment; arrogance; and the list goes on. There'd have to be some provision for context of words...For example: Play. In the course of everyday life, each of those spirits is the context in which is spoken. When we're little children, we invent ourselves using words. Now, as adults we still play. Play suggests that we are normal, healthy, balanced individuals. I didn't mean to imply otherwise. Even Yeshua had a little fun when Peter walked on water. But when it comes to the weightier matters of understanding the authority given to us by the Master, we had better be looking to the Master, and not be blinded by man's theologies. I don't think we can ever be too dogmatic about the "words" we speak because you'd be living your whole life walking on egg shells. It's too easy to go to extremes. Did you know that a synonym for dogmatic is "dictatorial"? I really am not trying to dictate to anybody. But people really do need to wake up and realize that Yeshua did not teach by quoting the scriptures, the way religion does. Yeshua taught by revealing what God had taught him. The only time he quoted scripture was when the hypocrites challenged him. And then he quoted. At the sermon on the mount, Yeshua was talking to the disciples, the same way you and I are talking here. (Except our "lips" are fingers ) I believe it's not so much the "words" we speak as the motives behind the words. One can speak flattering words but their intent be devious. It's the human heart God weighs and considers. JMO. And that is exactly what I thought, until the Lord impressed upon my conscience that I would never understand how the condition of my own heart had DEAFENED ME to the words that had been coming out of my own mouth, and what HE thinks about that, while clinging to my own interpretation. You have nothing but my confession that I fought this understanding tooth and nail, and the Lord kept drawing me back to it. And I can't blame you if you don't want to believe that what I have said in the starting post is true. After all, who am I? I never went to bible school. Didn't have bible collage or simenary or whatever else they call it. But I know who he is, and that he taught me this by the Spirit of God. And I know all the chastisement I went through because I wouldn't listen, when I didn't understand that it was chastisement.
  19. Hello Rick, First, please allow me to explain a little bit about myself. For the past 12 years, I have lived Psalms 1:2. My every waking moment has been spent meditating in the scriptures of the Holy Bible. I'm not begging anyone to believe that. Everyone will believe what they believe. I am simply stating the truth about myself, take it of leave it. My testimony is not about me anyway, but about the ways of the LORD. But the scriptures reveal the truth of these verses, along with every other verse wrtten there, no matter who the man these verses discribe. It could be any one of us. Ps 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. Ps 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Ps 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. As to enlightenment when the scriptures are involved, be brave enough to use your own mind and think, rather than to swallow everything anyone says hook, line, and sinker, just because he has formal training. Become one with the scriptures, discussing every issue with each verse, diligently (continuously), until you know for yourself what is said there. Every male Jew had to memorize the Torah by the time he was twelve years old, including Yeshua, regardless that others might try to make people believe that he never had to study. He memorized it the same as other boys who grew up in Israel, if for no other reason than because he was a Jew. The written word is not some formal, cold, impersonal dogma that offers you the rules and then makes you figure out how to follow the rules on your own. No, the scriptures teach you how to follow the rules. It's like a mother giving examples to her son, so that he can understand why she told him not to do something. Yeshua offered to us THE SAME RELATIONSHIP that he has with the Father. But you won't learn that from the people who work so hard to prove whether or not he was God, or whether or not the Holy Spirit was available to all men before Yeshua was crucified. They do that battle because they have failed to become part of the narration they read. Enlightenment of God's divine laws does not come through academics, but through putting yourself in Peter's place, and allowing Yeshua to tell YOU, "Get thee behind me, Satan! You OFFEND ME! For you savor the things that be of men, and not those things that be of God." Enlightenment comes through putting yourself in Paul's place, and watching yourself do an about-face in Paul's footsteps. What was Yeshua telling Peter anyway, except, "Line yourself up behind what I tell you, boy! "Cause you have'nt done it yet." Enlightenment comes when you actually hear the Lord ask you, "How long will I be with you before you understand. Ane the truth is that each of us MUST obtain this divine enlightenment. Because the only heirs in the kingdom of heaven aer EQUAL HEIRS WITH YESHUA. So, with your getting, get wisdom to use what you learn. And get strength in God. Because when the Lord sends you forth to feed his sheep, others will ridicule you as you have seen done to me this day on this thread. But keep a forgiving heart toward them, and whether they hear or not, you will have avoide becoming bitter yourself.
  20. John the apostle began his Book of the Gospel with a look back at the way things were in the beginning of creation. Like Yeshua before him, John was also leaving an inheritance of the knowledge and understanding that had been bestowed upon him to each man or woman who would choose to become a disciple in the kingdom of heaven. Jo 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. God is spirit. The origin of all things was spirit, the audible word that God spoke in the beginning. And every word that God spoke was in agreement with the heart of God, and every word that God spoke was God in action, Spirit in action. Jo 1:2 The same was in the beginning with God. God breathed into man a portion of his spirit, words. Originally, men had only God
  21. Knowing how to recognise "vipers" is very important these days. It helps to avoid being "bitten." Very appropriate, Neb, Thanks.
  22. Isaiah 58:6 is the only fast that I have ever fasted.
