Hi Jacoop, If you want to read a great article on RJ, get this months copy of CCM Magazine. After American Idol, he was contacted by both secular and Christian music opportunities. He chose to pursue a record deal in the Christian music field. I never saw him on Idol, but his testimony is great, and I look forward to getting his CD when it comes out. Blessings, Donna

I have been to Creation West for the past 2 years. There is not enough wonderful things I can say about the event. To gather with over 12,000 other believers in a camping/worship experience is unbelievable. The music and bands are awesome, and the camping was a very blessed experience. We met so many people, and it was a united event. If you went 'off' on your own, there's really not anywhere to go, other than the grounds of the event. Everyone works together in brotherly love and fellowship. I found only curteousness and politeness thru the whole event. This year I"m off again! But to Spirit West Coast in California instead. My 15yr old daughter and her friend were with me this past year, and they roamed around freely in and out of the events. Their musical tastes of shows would vary a bit from mine, but I had no inhibition of them picking which they would go to, letting me know, then going off by themselves. The camp ground over to the concert grounds was over a mile walk...doing that several times a day, you didn't want to go off for mischief elsewhere. Work in Progress: Your son will come back from this with the love of Christ shining through him.

Dear Lil one, You know Satan hates when we are strong in the Lord, and sis, I know you have been drawing closer and closer in your walk and committment to Christ. I'm sorry to hear of your night struggles. Can your pastor come and just 'bless' your room? We do a blessing each time we move, our pastor and Bible study group come over and we just pray and commit that we will serve the Lord there. And I know you pray before bed. Maybe find a few calming scriptures to read and meditate before bed time also? And I would go to bed each night with 'Get behind me Satan!' my Gma was big on that for many things. I had an awesome thing happen 2 days ago! I was way down in the dumps. Found myself starting to spiral again into depression...but I woke up with a verse on my lips as the alarm signaled me awake. It was not a verse I commonly think on and I lay there and meditated upon it and felt so overpowered by His love for me...wow what a blessing to pull me outta the dumps. I'll be praying for u sis.
