  1. Again all you have done is to take this opportunity to attack the Catholic Doctrine. Yet you have failed to address the core essence of the original post. That contraceptives have helped destroy marriage. That Contraceptives are in opposition to truly trusting God with your marriage, your family. Catholic bashing is getting old. I think this post has real merit with plenty of room for honest discussion. Lets try to discover satans lies where ever they might be. Even if they hit close to home. If you want to "expose Catholic Doctrine" then make a post about it, but please stop interjecting it into every thread. Kansas Dad
  2. Very good post. And thanks for being willing to face the Catholic doctrine haters. It is amazing how they can never pass up the oportunity to trash the Catholic faith. If you have notice "they" have not contradicted the point made by your post. Mainly because they can't, and stay biblical. Our Families are under direct attack from satan and this is a very suttle tool he usses to great effect against the family. I applaud the Catholic Church for not giving in to popular culture, we are living in a culture of death. This is not just about abortion, it is about marriage and the relationship of husband and wife. Satan knows if he destroys that then the rest will follow. DON"T buy into satans lies. Thanks, Good post. Kansas Dad
  3. Fantastic, Right-on, Bravo Thank you for sharing that article. Kansas Dad
  4. "Well I read it again and I have have done everything that you have suggested My church http://www.ebchurch.ca is a 45 minute drive one way. I can't remove myself from the community because I am not working and can't afford to move. There's nothing I'd like more than to move back to Ontario and fellowship with my old church family. I'm surrounded by sin. Pot smokers and growers, atheists, witches, pedophiles , we got em all here. I'm fortunate that I have as few vices as I have. Did you grow up in a christian home? I did not. I was raised in sin and grew up in it until my mid 30s. I'm not trying to use this as an excuse but there are dynamics that you may or may not understand. We play worship music almost exclusively all day. There are not many christians in my neck of the woods so the only influence I have is my family. You see, it's not as easy as you mak it out to be. I can only hope that God cuts me more slack than you do " It states very clearly in the Bible not to judge each other, Some should read that passage again. You are in a tough situation and it looks to me like you are dealing with it well. Just look at how you have used this community for support. God will provide you with what you need. Might I suggest that you contact the minister of your church. request a little time to discuss forgiveness. Have a conversation with him/her, Tell your minister "This is what I have done" "This is what I still struggle with" Ask your minister to pray with you for Gods forgiveness. I guarantee you God will forgive you of your sins. You will feel a great load lifted, and you will know you are right with God. This is being born again, Your old ways are dead, God forgave them completely. They no longer exist. You are fresh and clean. Isn't that great with Gods Grace we get "do overs" Now, it is not going to make your living situations any easier and yes you will fail. You will sin again. But guess what, God gives you as many "do overs" as you need. Just don't give up. God will forgive you over, and over, and over again. The problem comes when we listen to satan and believe that God could not possibly forgive me again and WE walk away from God. God will never walk away from us. You just hang in there, and when you meet Jesus our savior you will hear the words, "come my good and faithful servant" God Bless Kansas Dad
  5. WOW what a post. Kind of hits you between the eyes doesn't it. It is so amazing how human nature is so different than what God calls for us to do and be. That is a tough verse with 9/11 in mind. Wow shaking my head and saying some prayers on this one. Thanks for the wake up call. Kansas Dad
  6. By the lack of response and the very few that even looked at this thread, I question if this community of believers believes that repentance of our sins is even a necessary part of Gods plan and salvation. Say the words, believe in Jesus and go to heaven, end of message????? A little surprised, Kansas Dad
  7. Ooooh oooh I forgot the best part! Look at this. Look at this. For those of us that have been laid bare before God and asked for his forgiveness, fully expecting the condemnation just like our brethren man has condemned us over and over again on earth. But you know what he says, He says
  8. Repentance: A off spin of some of the other post. Unfortunately I know far too may
  9. I think we as Christians need to step back and listen a little. People who are struggling with their faith don
  10. Perhaps this post is creating some friction?
  11. I agree that we as Christians should continually challenge each other and keep ourselves accountable. Some of my dearest friends have challenged me personally about my attitude, words or actions. We are all sinners and need to have other Christian friends help us stay accountable. That is not what I am talking about. I really picked up on this in the prophecy boards. It seemed that some posters were just trying to
  12. [oops) wrong post
  13. I find it disgusting and disheartening that so many members of this forum are so busy tearing down each other
