I have often pondered this question as to whether we are alone in the universe or not. Because if we are not then did Jesus die on the cross for the people on other planets too...was there a Jesus on those planets being crucified at the same time that ours was here on Earth or did it cover the entire sins of the universe the fact that jesus died and rose again heree on Earth. We see evidence of bacterial life on Titans moon and evidence of past life now dead on mars. So was god experimenting with life before he perfected earth or is it something else? I don't question the sovernty of God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit but I would like to think that we are not alone and there exists other beings like us in someway and that aliens are not demons as some people think but merely just another species. Your thoughts please?

I have been told by members of my family that I should not be concerned about enviromental issues that affect the generations of the future because Christ is coming back soon so whats the point...eat drink and be merry and live life to the fullest But what they don't see is that when christ comes again it could be 200 or so years from now as we dont know the day or the hour of his 2nd coming. Jesus instructed us to continue living and not be anxious about his coming again and it seems to me alot of christians are not concerned about doing what is scientifcly possible to clean the air,water and ozone layer around us not to mention finding alternitaive power sources besides crude oil and coal. I'd like to ask all of you your input on what we should be doing as good stewards of the planet that God made for us to live on?

So if the wages of sin is death and jesus paid the price, what then does a christian experience when he sins as a new creation in christ? I have been led to believe by the baptist church that as a christian I will experience chastising from the Lord and the devil will rob me of blessings God has in store for me when I sin and backslide. But If I murder someone and I then have no shame or If i completly turn my back on God or if I just live a luke-warm life it seems to me that there isnt much punishment for the sin. I would think loosing my salvation would be a much more serious reason not to turn away from God because if all I ever get from a luke-warm life is some punishment in there here-and now I could just live out my life and wait for the after life and just do what I want until I die.. But you know something God is not mocked so it seems to me that If i am truly saved and I know that I am I will want to serve God and that I wont want to turn away. There has to be a middle ground here and it seems to me it is possible to reject God even when you have tasted of the gifts of the holy spirit.

Lately after going to several churches in the Greenville,Texas area and having been raised catholic and then attending and being baptized in a southern baptist church I am now confused about salvation I did however write something down and maybe I am on the right track here SALVATION A GIFT YOU COULD NOT AFFORD: When you are saved by the blood of jesus christ,you were given the gift of life something you could not afford to pay for yourself like many expensive gifts in our world today SALVATION A GIFT GIVEN TO YOU FREELY: GOD freely gave his son up for us so that our sins would be paid for and covered SALVATION A GIFT THAT YOU WOULD NOT WANT TO RETURN: Once you open the gift and realize how good it is your desire will be to keep it and the gifts from the flesh will seem less appealing. SALVATION A GIFT THAT COULD BE EXCHANGED: Often we backslide exchanging temporarily the gift God gave us for the ones that we are used to which is the gifts and pleasures of the flesh SALVATION A GIFT THAT IF RETURNED AND NEVER RECIEVED AGAIN IS LOST TO YOU FOREVER: If you take the gift back and ask for a 100% refund and turn away from GOD and deny Jesus Christ before men until the day you die you loose the gift of life forever. So after some thought I came to the conclusion above which is that you have salvation as long as you are truly saved and do not turn your back on God and deny Jesus before men. However the baptist preacher I know has said that you can't loose it because it takes the power of the cross away. If anyone can help me figure this out I would sure appreciate it because I want to be clear on salvation

What has Mel Gibson have to do with this at all? the fact that people attack the catholic church...and yet mel gibson is catholic and he made a movie god wanted him to make.... if anything comes from man it will not last...but if it comes from GOD it cannot be changed...... the passion of christ is what god called him to do...so if the catholic church is bad and evil...then that means the passion of christ is evil...and is of man you cant have your cake and eat it too....i was raised catholic and and now am baptist...and even our baptist preacher acknolwedges that Pope John Paul II was a godly man doing "God's work" I do not pray to dead people....and i do not contact mediums...but god has reassured me my step dad and my grandma are thier in heaven if you think thats foolish...im sorry but i know it to be true and Mary is not dead...she is alive for eternity with christ jesus.... no one who is in heaven is dead...you can only die if you go to hell thus eternal life.....ETERNAL LIFE....with God and Jesus and The Holy Spirit

to say that praying to mary to pray for you is not bad...consider this we ask people to pray for us all the time...and since mary was a person...who now resides in heaven...we dont pray to her like shes a god...we basically talk to her and ask her to pray for us.... i like it when people pray for me...dont you? so if i ask mary in heaven to pray for me or my friend mary on earth to pray for me what difference is it? lets not also forget mel gibson is catholic and he made the passion of christ ....mary's role was unique..... shes not god...she was just a good woman....a sinner yes...but a good woman

well i was perhaps to vaugue on this because the woman is someone i am interested in...she and i are both baby christians in the lord.... when she was married before 3 times all of her husbands...especially the husband that was the father of her kids were unfaithful and or abusive her 2nd husbands the father or her two kids ...sexually molested the children and went to jail and now he is out trying to hook up with her again....and asking her friends where she is but they dont tell him....they only were able to keep him in jail for sometime...he has other abuse cases againts him from other children.... so is she supposed to be alone for the rest of her life? she made no sin within the marriage...it was the men who were unfaithful to her ....in fact dps (department of social services) (or department of children servces) took her kids from her saying she should have known he was abusing them and she went to jail for 30 days for failfure to protect her children.... and it is wrong because the father did these things in secret while she was at work....and the kids were young at the time

my question is this...is it truly a sin for a man whether it be in a play on stage or in private in his house...or even in public...to dress in womens garments...what does scripture say on this ... also what about women...we see them wearing ties and suits now...so is that a sin also?

can a man marry a woman whos previous husbands have been unfaithful and abusive and can a man marry her if she has children.... please what does scripture say on this
