    Why?

    I second that!
  2. *************** Let's don't forget that Jesus *IS* God, (part of the trinity). He was born as man but was still God. Jesus' baptism was to fullfil prophesy and for annoiting by the Father. Jesus has the same power of the Father because they are one. The Holy Spirit is also God (part of the trinity) He was also always present at beginning in creation.
  3. This is how I see it: For a person to accept Christ the Holy Spirit does the work in the person. We only can plant seeds in a person's life. But you don't accept Christ without the work of the HS. Yes, God is all knowing which man will not understand this concept fully until we enter his kingdom after the death of our body of flesh. We must trust God (faith) and seek HIS face when discipling someone. This is where intercessory prayer comes in. God can use you or someone else to plant the seeds. I feel when a person *seeks* understanding of salvation they open the door for the HS to work in HIS time. A person has the choice to seek or to keep the door of understanding closed.
  4. God knows, but that does not mean that he effects the outcome. God knows who is going to commit murder today. Do we blame God for all the murders that He knew would take place? God knows who will choose to cheat on their spouse. That does not mean that God caused anyone to do that. In the same way, even though God knows the choices we will make he still gives us the freedom to make those choices, and we are accountable for them, as we are without excuse. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, but are you saying He CAN'T effect the outcome??? God can do ANYTHING!!!! He is God Almighty. Yomo <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I am saying that He WILL NOT effect the outcome, though He could. God does not choose who will be saved. God allows us each to make that choice. He knows the outcome but allows us to make the choice, even if it is a choice He does not want us to make. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
