Hey #1smile I pray that God delivers you from what ever is tempting you and He has total control of your life. You know when we are saved we don't automatically change somethings seem like they disappear at once and others God has to work out. You know that satan doesn't give up just because you are saved he tries even harder the Bible says he desires you to sift you as wheat. Also there may be some things in your house that still satan has attached himself to like music videos or magazines. The best thing you can do is have a housecleaning party and rid it of anything that he may try to still claim possesion of all he needs is an open door. When my wife and i got saved we threw out seems like a small fortune in things at the time we weren't saved to be no problem for us but when God opened our eyes we seen what an effect they had on us. Just a thought the bible says not everyone that says Lord,Lord will enter into the kingdom of God. These are the words of God or Thus Sayeth the Lord in which many refuse to say anymore. Slim, there are many today that are claiming to be a christian that aren't. They at one time in their lives gave lip service to God that many they confessed Jesus as Lord only with their mouths but the scripture also says in Romans 10:9 that if we confess with our mouths and believe in our hearts we will be saved. Your spiritual condition is between God and yourself God knows you better than yourself and He knows if you are serious in your commitment to Him. There are people setting in church pews today that will not see heaven. That statement riles some in the church but God's word is true there are goats sitting in with the sheep in our churches also works will not save you we can be good all we want to and the fact of the matter is if we mess up just one time thats why we need Jesus to save us just one sin would warrant judgement in our case just as the Bible says all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. When Jesus truly saves you you want be the same i know when He saved me He changed me the things i use to do listen to and watch I could no longer do them and enjoy them without God convicting me. Tamara, One thing you have right now is that you are pure and for one to abstain from sex before marriage is a commitment not only to yourself but to God as well. There are many in your position that go ahead and have sex before marriage they cant go back They cant be where you are and you cant be where they are. Sex isn't a reason for marriage and if that is the only reason one day it will not be enough to keep the marriage going. The world says it is alright the music teaches its alright and the so-called stars of Hollywoods say its alright but look at the miserable lives they have because they don't follow the principles of the Bible. Sex outside of marriage is adultery and sex is saved for marriage. Today too many people call themselves christians and live lifestyles that arent Christ-like. Sin the very name of it is being watered down People tend to lower the standards God never intended. To say we are born with this trait or that trait isnt really far from the truth. WE ARE ALL BORN SINNERS we all need a Savior at the end of our lives the most important thing is to stand before A Righteous and Holy God and defend our actions and try to reason with Him because someone said something was alright to do. Upon reading your post my heart goes out to you, but there comes a time in your life that you must come to the realization of whats important. Your God your kids and yourself. I grew up with a man I wont call him a father because a father is someone who want leave their family when I was about a year and a half old leaving my mother to raise three children on her own, though times we struggled to make ends meet she never left us. How much damage can be done by them finding out later that their man who is supposed to be their father is living in adultery which the Bible says is Sin and maybe they are getting the impression it is alright. And as far as the Social Security holding it over your head he needs to provide for the family monetarily that he seems to be not doing now because no divorce is filed. Also if I was the other woman I would run from that situation as fast as I could run. There are many things that need to be dealt with if those people died in their sins they will spend eternity in Hell not receiving Jesus as their Lord and Savior the, the kids and knowing the consequences of their fathers actions and yourself for having to deal with this. Hello Brothers and Sisters Greeting s from TEN COMMANDMENTS It saddens me so much to see a young woman be given a death sentence because that she has become a hinderance to remain alive to her husband. Though her parents don't feel this way because they have done everything physically posibble to keep their daughter alive. Terri can breathe on her own the only crime she has is she cant feed herself i don't know about you all but if this happened to us would a judge be quick to take the nutrients away from us. Terri was awarded 700,000 dollars and her husband 300,000 dollars to see she got the physical therapy she needs to be rehabiltated the court appointed doctors said she couldnt get any better but their are some specialist that think otherwise and have seen far worse than terri get better. The court system has gone to far when they start issuing death sentences to people just because they cant eat and have become a nusiance is what its amounting to.
