Christ gave these prophecies 2,000 years ago. One constant fact about Christians is that all of them have died. THis doesn't prove hate...death is the best thing that can happen to a believer. Just because God won't return in our lifetime doesn't mean He hates you. The signs are there simply for hope, that His return is closer than it was yesterday. All people have seen the signs of His return...don't feel like we're anything special. Christians die everyday...does this mean God hates them? This post is going exactly the way that is supposed to go, because all of us here, are exactly who we are. We couldn't possibly use any other words. We all live in times in which your statement fits perfectly into " your sons and daughters will prophesy and see visions ", today is " ripe " moment to be described as " your old man will dream dreams " due to enormous leap in technological advance. We need to all understand that we are spirits, and if one spirit claim that Jesus actualy commited suicide, don't you think is natural to, just for sake of conversation, try to prove that capital punishment can not be considered suicide by any stretch of imagination. According to him, Joels Prophecy is not about last days, it is about Disciples and everything that have happened in their lifetimes, including destruction of Jerusalem. Sarcasm is not a virtue. I feel that it is a virtue, if you're a Jew, talking to another Jew, about Jesus Christ. Not sure what verse you speak of, if is Matthew 24:9, or Luke 21:12, they both still represent, and promise events that will take place right before His Physical second coming. Not within two thousand years, because than " signs " would not make any sense. My point with Mark was that all those that have been, are presently and will be in the future killed for their belief in Jesus, are not Jews.

He also told them to subdue the earth(which they lost when they sinned) He also told them to have dominion over all the animal kingdom(which they lost when they sinned) God indeed, wanted them to fill the earth before they sinned. but they werent interested in His WILL---but their "PLEASURE". Confusing ? It is perfectly clear that you are confused, 'cause you got " How so ? " questions. If we stick to the truth that God is Living God, and Living God Only, Confusion about Resurrection should disappear. We are Dead as soon as we are born, by default, thanks to our " First couple ", we just believe we are alive. Second death is Phisycal death, and that is the End of the story for that flesh. Your first resurrection is when you start feeling you are One with God, so therefore, by the fact He is above you ( above meaning He Created you, not other way around ), you are walking His Path, not yours. Second resurrection will happen' when you meet Him. John and rest of disciples have lived and experienced Everything that Jesus did. Adam lived 930 years, after the Fall, before Fall he did not have Life, but Eternal existence. Life came onto scene when babies started being born. Life is the Interval of time between birth and death. In eternity, there is no time, birth or death. Adam was created, not born. When God told them to multiply, He was talking about Future in which they will be able to multiply. Which do not give me a reason to ask you to proove that children were born prior to Fall. If you are eternal, you don't have time, you can not age, so how can fetus age ?? Again Genesis 3:22, after breaking God's commandement, Adam took Death upon himself, by His choice, therefore " HE MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO REACH OUT HIS HAND, AND TAKE ALSO FROM THE TREE OF LIFE, AND LIVE FOREVER " Which part of " He must not be allowed " and " Live forever " you don't understand ? The Torah ( or Old testament ) is the truth you can find, only if you know the truth. Being written by Jews, about Jews, using Jews names and places, does not mean that world is Jewish. Jesus was Jew who came to bring the truth to the World, Not Jews. When Disciples were chosen, and joined Ministry of Jesus, they converted into something other than Jews. Talking about people chosen by God, to witness and spread the Word about the One who is the way, the truth,and the life, and @ the same time, that way, truth, and life not being Jewish way, Jewish truth and Jewish life, then those men can not be called Jews. Unless we talking about nationality. And now you talking about People who Killed, denied and Outcasted living God, and doing same things they were doing 2000 years ago, to be saved by that very God ? Jews are being saved today ? Saved by who ?? The God they call Insane ? First of all, there is Only One Man who have control over who's going to live. And He is the only One who chose " saved ones " long time ago. And obviously that man is not you. I doubt that Jews would like to be called Non-Christians, the same way I am not gentile. After everything is said, the whole point of our lives is the salvation. Eternal life with the Lord, here on Earth. This whole discussion turned into kids brawl in Day care center. And I am 42 today. I feel you, and that is what I've said, Ovedya needs to understand that, not me. Or maybe He needs to read Bible with proper Genesis 3:22.

So was Isaiah and His prophecy about Jesus, that was fullfiled. So those 12 Jews, that were baptized with Holy Spirit of God Jesus, and sent to spread the word to the World. I doubt that Jews are paying too much attention to Gospel of Matthew or anything else, those twelve wrote. All the Jewish names , land's, cities ... are just metaphore for something that was choosen by God, His people and His places of events takin place in specific time. Otherwise, only Jews will get eternal life, which is total absurd.

Two trees in the center of Eden, one gives eternal life, another one certain physical death. Sin came onto sceen that very instant, when Adam felt change in his mind, fear and shame, and realized what God's words " If you eat from it, you will surely die " God's blocking the way to the tree of life proves that Adam was able to have children, live 930 years and die. " Adam had not partaken of it " is an Assumption, because thanks to that tree of life he lived as 29 year old for thousand years, from creation til fall. Which makes fruit from the Tree of life, something that " dumb blonde " would die for. Sin and death produce nonexistence, eternal life is opposite to that, how can death be greater than life ?

If you ask me, future of this dicussion depends on your definition of " Perfect ". If you feel that Perfect Man is the one who did infact chose Death over Eternal Life, than, our visions of the perfect Man are different. God creates everything, including everyones life. We are making choices, that can give us only two possible outcomes, we live or we die. As long as you are alive, that choice wasn't yours but God's, if you die, that choice was yours, because it wrapped up your destiny. To me, free means no limitations of any kind. Death is huge limitation, especialy for not knowing when will it happen'. People can only believe they have free will, truth is they don't.

In my (NIV) Bible Genesis 3:22 says " .... He must NOT be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever. " then in Gen. 3:24, God even put cherubim with flaming sword, to guard the way to the tree of life. God's plan for people to fullfil the planet is showing inevitable fall in order to procreate. Adam and Eve, created in their high twenties to stay like that forever, because of free use of tree of life. Their counterpart is todays God's church, that is going to go through reverse process of steppin from mortality into eternity First you've said Adam was created mortal, now you saying He had a choice. Death is not choice but matter of time if one is mortal. So far in my life, did not have chance to talk to a Christian who believes Adam was created mortal, regardless of his choice.
