In this post I’m connecting the dots between the sign of the April 8th eclipse, a prophecy from the late prophet Kim Clement and the scriptures. We are living in chaotic and fast changing times and spiritual warfare is about break out like we’ve never seen before. God is going to shake the heavens and the earth. Everything that can be shaken will be shaken, including politically, spiritually, economically and naturally. So get ready, as we are about to witness a great battle for the souls of mankind. Babylon (globalism) is trying to enslave everyone in every nation of this world; however, the global elite do not realize that they are getting ahead of God’s biblical timeline. They’re trying to bring in their evil global system, which includes the mark of the beast, before the short allotted window of time that is foretold in God’s Word. This short window of time can only come in the end, just before Christ returns at the end of the age. It is called the great tribulation and it will last for the final three and a half years, 42 months and/or 1260 days before Christ returns to settle the score. Babylon (globalist leaders) don’t know or understand God’s timeline. If they did, they would know that their time won’t come until after the abomination of desolation, which occurs in the middle of Daniel’s 70th week. Daniel’s 70th week will be the final 7 years of this age, which will be followed by the second coming of Christ, when the King of kings and Lord of lords returns to reign on the earth during the millennial kingdom. This is God’s time, a time when everyone will see His glory as He brings in His end-time harvest. Satan doesn’t seem to realize he is making another foolish mistake, just like he did when he thought he would kill Christ on the cross nearly 2000 years ago. Little did he know then, that the cross would ultimately be his demise, and hand the victory to Christ, as He overcame death, hell and the grave. Three days later Christ was resurrected, which is the guarantee of eternal life for everyone who believes and receives Him. Haggai 2:20-22 – “And again the word of the Lord came to Haggai on the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying, 21 “Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying: ‘I will shake heaven and earth. 22 I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms; I will destroy the strength of the Gentile kingdoms. I will overthrow the chariots and those who ride in them; the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.” James 5:6-7 – “Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain.“ Since Satan doesn’t know God’s biblical timeline, God is now going to have to intervene and crush His enemies so that the scriptures can be fulfilled. It almost seems like they are forcing His hand, but God will not be mocked and His Word will not return to Him void. No doubt, this is the Lord’s time and He will not be denied, as the entire world is about to witness His glory. Just as the Church grew by leaps and bounds in the first century (early rains), the latter rain (end-time) harvest will be much more plentiful, as the world’s population is much greater now. Many prophets are calling for a billion soul end-time harvest, as the world’s population has surpassed 8 billion. Matthew 24:14 says, “ And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.“ The very next verse (15) Christ gives a clue about the abomination of desolation, which will be the beginning of the final three and a half years of the age, known as the great tribulation. The great tribulation is when Babylon’s tiny window of time will come, only after the Lord receives His harvest, not before. Amos 3:7 – “Surely the Lord God does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets.” Proverbs 25:2 – “It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.” Although I cannot be totally sure that the end-time harvest will begin precisely in 2024, I got the idea that it probably will after watching an old video from the late prophet Kim Clement. In this prophesy, Kim stated that from January 21st, we should count 70 and 100 days, and he sang out the word “Resurrection,” and then he said to watch gold. I was fascinated to see that this is the year that 70 days from Jan. 21st ended on March 31, which also just happened to be resurrection Sunday. Coincidence? I think not. Prophecies are filled with clues that have meaning. And now I’m looking forward to seeing what day 100 brings. Gold is already at its all-time high as I’m writing these words. So I’m thinking gold will probably start to skyrocket on day 100, which is April 30th, 2024. If this happens, it will likely mean that the US dollar will be in serious trouble, and it very possibly will no longer be the world’s reserve currency, the greatest ponzi scheme the world has ever known, as it has plunged the entire world into massive debt. The 70 and 100 days are also signs that our enemies time is nearing its end. In his prophecy, Kim Clement also said he saw a snake that was trying to destroy as many states as it could, but God would strangle it between the 70 and 100 days. All of this got me thinking deeper, especially after pondering the great eclipse of April 8, 2024, which clearly seems to be a sign in the heavens from the Lord. Ironically, the eclipse passed through 7 cities named Nineveh. This is reminiscent of the sign of Jonah. Jonah warned the city of Nineveh to repent or face the Lord’s judgement in 40 days. Would you believe that 40 days from the April 8th eclipse is May 18-19th. That’s amazing! You cannot make this stuff up! May 19th just happens to be Pentecost in the west, but it starts on the 18th in eastern nations on the other side of the world, and this will be a global event. Pentecost always comes seven weeks after resurrection Sunday, but this year, it also comes 40 days after the April 8th eclipse. So what could this possibly mean? Genisis 1:14 – “And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be signs to indicate seasons, and days, and years.” This got me thinking even deeper. I’ll tell you what I think it could mean. The early rain harvest began in the first century, but we still have the latter rain or end-time harvest coming, the greatest revival this world has never seen. The coming end-time revival will be much greater. Just as the prophets are prophesying about a greater Exodus and a greater Red Sea moment is coming, as the Lord is about to set the entire world free from the enslavement and control of these global tyrants. In similar fashion, I believe that Pentecost in 2024 will very possibly be much greater than the first Pentecost in the first century. I’m writing about this now because I have not heard or seen anyone else talking about it, but I believe we are about to witness the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit this world has ever seen, and this time, it will fulfill Joel’s ancient prophecy to a much greater degree. First Century Pentecost (Israel): Acts 2:1-4 – “When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 There appeared to them tongues as of fire, being distributed and resting on each of them, 4 and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues, as the Spirit enabled them to speak.“ End-time Pentecost (Gentiles): Joel 2:28-31 – “And it shall come to pass afterward That I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions. 29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days. 30 “And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth: Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness,And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” The filling of the Holy Spirit of Jesus’ Jewish disciples on the day of Pentecost was great, but it was very limited compared to the awesome outpouring of the Holy Spirit that is about to come. In the first century, only a small number were filled with the Holy Spirit and they were all in a single house. But the day is fast approaching when God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh, not just a chosen few in Israel. The world has never seen anything like what is about to happen when He pours out His Spirit on all christians living everywhere in the world. THE FALL OF BABYLON: The prophets have been prophesying about a greater Exodus, when the Lord will miraculously set His people free again. It will also be greater, because next time He won’t be just setting Israel free from the Pharaoh in Egypt. Next time He will be setting all of His children in all nations free from the enslavement and control of the globalists. This will also require a greater Red Sea moment as well. No one knows exactly when, how or what the Lord will do when He sets us free, but there’s no doubt that whatever He does, it will be the most glorious event the world has ever known. Just as no one expected the Lord to part the Red Sea, we don’t know how He will liberate His children in the next greater Exodus, but we should never forget that last time He parted the Red Sea during Passover. What is very interesting is that Passover 2024 is April 22-29, and this is even more interesting when you consider that this Passover is also inside the 70 and 100 days, so we should probably be expecting the unexpected. Whatever miracle the Lord performs, it will be biblical, unconventional and unprecedented, and the entire world will know that only God could have done this. Several prophets have mentioned the angel of death being on the earth again. They have also said that these are the days of Haman revisited, so I believe many will die, especially those who were trying to kill us by putting things in our food, water, air and even the CV19 vaccines. Since we don’t know what the Lord will do when He sets His children free, I’m going to post some scriptures below that will possibly be fulfilled during this miraculous and glorious event. Isaiah 61:1-2 – “The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor; He has sent me to heal the broken-hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn,” Jesus read verse (1) above in the temple in the first century, saying today this has been fulfilled and then stopped. Many believe verse (2) and beyond will be fulfilled in the future. Will the day of vengeance come in 2024? Luke 21:25-26 – “There will be signs in the sun and the moon and the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men fainting from fear and expectation of what is coming on the inhabited earth. For the powers of heaven will be shaken.” Matthew 24:4-8 – “Jesus answered them, “Take heed that no one deceives you. 5 For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. 6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled. For all these things must happen, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines, epidemics, and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.“ Revelation 18:1-24 – “After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! 3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived [e]luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’ 8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. 9 “The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning, 10 standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’ 11 “And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise anymore: 12 merchandise of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of citron wood, every kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, and marble; 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and bodies and souls of men. 14 The fruit that your soul longed for has gone from you, and all the things which are rich and splendid have [g]gone from you, and you shall find them no more at all. 15 The merchants of these things, who became rich by her, will stand at a distance for fear of her torment, weeping and wailing, 16 and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city that was clothed in fine linen, purple, and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance 18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ 19 “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she [i]is made desolate.’ 20 “Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!” 21 Then a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone and threw it into the sea, saying, “Thus with violence the great city Babylon shall be thrown down, and shall not be found anymore. 22 The sound of harpists, musicians, flutists, and trumpeters shall not be heard in you anymore. No craftsman of any craft shall be found in you anymore, and the sound of a millstone shall not be heard in you anymore. 23 The light of a lamp shall not shine in you anymore, and the voice of bridegroom and bride shall not be heard in you anymore. For your merchants were the great men of the earth, for by your sorcery all the nations were deceived. 24 And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” Proverbs 13:22 – “A good man leaves an inheritance to his children’s children, but the wealth of the sinner is stored up for the righteous.” Daniel 2:34-35, 39-45 – “You watched until a stone was cut out without hands which struck the image upon its feet, which were of iron and clay, and broke them to pieces. 35 Then the iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors. And the wind carried them away so that not a trace of them was found. But the stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.“ After you, another kingdom inferior to you shall arise, and a third kingdom of bronze, which shall rule over all the earth. 40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron, for iron breaks in pieces and shatters everything; and like iron that crushes, it shall crush and shatter all these. 41 As you saw the feet and toes, partly of potters’ clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided. But there shall be in it some of the strength of the iron, inasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with miry clay. 42 As the toes of the feet were partly of iron and partly of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly broken. 43 Whereas you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men, but they shall not cleave to one another, even as iron does not mix with clay. 44 “In the days of these kings the God of heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to another people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever. 45 Inasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands and that it broke in pieces the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter. And the dream is certain, and its interpretation sure.

Why I believe Matthew 24 is Daniel’s 70th Week, the final 7 years. . + Matt. 24:4-14 = Time of sorrows (birth pains – 3 1/2 yrs.) + Matt. 24:15 = Abomination of desolation (end of sacrifices) + Matt. 24:16-28 = Great tribulation (3 1/2 years) + Matt. 24:29-31 = (Rapture) End of 70th week / Times of the Gentiles fulfilled Before I begin, let me say that profound mysteries in Bible prophecy are usually fulfilled in ways that most of us are not expecting. Let’s use the coming of Israel’s Messiah, for example. Israel knew the time was near for their Messiah to come, but nearly everyone, if not all were expecting a mighty conquering king. They had no idea that Messiah would be coming twice. So when He finally came as a humble, suffering servant, very few were able to recognize and receive Him, even though there were many other prophecies that also foretold of Him coming as the Lamb of God. But because Israel had grown very weary of being subject to the Romans, they were longing for their mighty king, so they focused on the prophecies that foretold His second coming instead. I believe this prophecy is very similar in a way. . Daniel 9:24-27 – “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. 25 Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. 26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. 27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.” . Many scholar’s believe that Daniel’s 70th week has already been fulfilled, because they do not see a gap in this prophecy. Well, it’s true, there is no mention of a gap in the prophecy above. However, there’s also no mention of Christ being baptized to begin the 70th week as some believe, especially when the previous verse (26) is clear He was already cut off after 69 weeks. He could not be both, cut off after the 69th week, and then be baptized and begin His ministry at the start of the 70th week. There’s also no mention that Christ, Himself, put a stop to sacrifices in the middle of the week, as some claim who believe the 70 weeks have already been fulfilled. And finally, this prophecy says nothing about the end of the week ending with the stoning of Stephen. Personally, I’d choose the gap any day, over those three assumptions that do not fit the scriptures. Now please allow me to tell you why there is a gap, even though it’s not mentioned in Daniel’s prophecy. . First, scripture is clear that the sacrifices did not stop in the middle of the week, when Christ was crucified. The sacrifices continued another 40 years, until the temple was finally destroyed in 70AD. Second, Daniel also tells us what will put a stop to the sacrifices in the middle of the week, and that is the abomination of desolation that will occur 1290 days before the resurrection/rapture. . Daniel 11:31 – “His armies shall rise up and desecrate the sanctuary fortress. They shall abolish the daily sacrifice and set up the abomination that makes desolate.” . Daniel 12:11-13 – “From the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. 13 “But as for you, go your way until the end. Then you shall rest and rise again for your lot at the end of the age.” (resurrection) . Now about that gap that isn’t mentioned in Daniel. Since Israel chose to reject her Messiah, God’s plan was to open the way for the salvation of the Gentiles (Rom. 11:11). After all, Christ didn’t come to die for Israel’s sins alone. No, He was the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29); so yes, even though the 70 weeks prophecy was for the Jews and Jerusalem, the Gentiles must be included as well. However, there was no need for God to mention His plan for the Gentiles in Daniel’s prophecy for Israel, and I believe this may be why the Gentiles were not mentioned. So once Israel rejected and crucified Christ after 69 weeks (483 years), the 70th week was put on hold, and God turned His focus unto the Gentiles. Paul later told the Gentiles that Israel would be partially blinded until the times of the Gentiles were fulfilled (Rom. 11:25). . Zechariah 9:9 – “Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion! Shout, Daughter Jerusalem! See, your king comes to you, righteous and victorious, lowly and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey.” . When the nation of Israel officially rejected her Messiah on the day He came riding into Jerusalem on a donkey at the end of the 69th week (483 yrs.), He was cut off (crucified) just a few days later, not in the middle of the week or 3 1/2 years later. I believe that since Israel rejected Messiah, it was God’s plan to put the 70th week on hold, and then turned His attention to the Gentile nations. The times of the Gentiles will last for 2000 years, which is why Christ still has not returned. And I believe the 70th week will not begin until the following passage is fulfilled. . John 5:43 – “I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him.” . Hosea 6:2 – “After two days He will revive us. On the third day He will raise us up, that we may live before Him.” . In Hosea’s prophecy above, we know that Israel was not revived in 2 days or even 2 years. Christ was crucified almost 2000 years ago, so the 2 days can only represent 2000 years, if we are to understand this properly. Therefore, the only way this prophecy makes any sense, is when we apply (2 Pet. 3:8 and Psalm 90:4). . 2 Peter 3:8 – “But, beloved, do not be ignorant of this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” . Psalm 90:4 – “For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.” . We also know from other scripture that Israel would be partially blinded until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled, which are also nearly 2000 years. Yes, we are still in the times of the Gentiles today. Israel is still partially blind as they still can’t see that Christ was their long awaited Messiah, so the 2000 years still have not yet expired. . Romans 11:25 – “For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles be come in.” . And we also know, according to scripture, that the times of the Gentiles won’t be fulfilled until after the great tribulation, after the 42 months, which is the second-half of Daniel’s 70th week. And the two witnesses will also be prophesying for 1260 days (42 months) during that future time as well. I guess people are still selling fools gold these days, and unfortunately some people are still buying it, but scriptures are not fulfilled by assumptions. . Revelation 11:2-3 – “But exclude the outer court; do not measure it, because it has been given to the Gentiles. They will trample on the holy city for 42 months. 3 And I will appoint my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.” . So this explains the 2000 year gap between the 69th and 70th week, and why the Lord has still not returned in nearly 2000 years. We are still in the times of the Gentiles and I believe the 70th week will begin when Israel receives the one who will come in his own name, and there will also be some type of peace settlement for one week (7 yrs.) involved. I believe the times of the Gentiles will end when the sign of the Son of man appears (rapture), as Christ will appear immediately after the tribulation of those days. . Matthew 24:29-31 – “Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.” . So just because we don’t see the 2000 year gap mentioned in Daniel’s 70 weeks prophecy to the Jews and Jerusalem, this does not mean there won’t or can’t be a gap. As I mentioned earlier, there are other prophecies that relate to the times of the Gentiles. God has a plan for Israel and a plan for the Gentiles. He is not required to reveal His plan for the Gentiles within His plan for Israel. We know that the Lamb of God died for the sins of the world, so His plan must include the Gentiles as well. Therefore, salvation was offered to Israel first, and then to the Gentiles. We remain today, in the times of the Gentiles, and desolation’s (plural) have been determined for the holy city, until the consummation, when the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled and the sign of the Son of man appears in all His brilliant glory. . 2 Peter 3:3-9 – “Know this first, that there shall come scoffers in the last days who walk after their own lusts, 4 and say, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things have continued as they were since the beginning of the creation.” 5 For they willingly ignore that, by the word of God the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed standing out of the water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed was flooded with water and perished. 7 But by the same word, the heavens and the earth that now exist are being reserved for fire, kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of the ungodly. 8 But, beloved, do not be ignorant of this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slow concerning His promise, as some count slowness. But He is patient with us, because He does not want any to perish, but all to come to repentance.”

We are living stones being built as a heavenly temple, but this does not negate the fact that the religious Jews want their temple re-built. It will be rebuilt, and they will resume animal sacrifices. This will probably not go over very well with the world. No doubt, the armed forces will cause the desolation, but I still see no nuclear bombs in any of this.
-
You said that before, but I just can't see that happening. Scripture says the man of sin or son of perdition will go into the re-built temple showing himself as God. 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 - "Now, brothers, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and concerning our gathering together unto Him, we ask you 2 not to let your mind be quickly shaken or be troubled, neither in spirit nor by word, nor by letter coming as though from us, as if the day of Christ is already here. 3 Do not let anyone deceive you in any way. For that Day will not come unless a falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself as God."

Before I wrote my book, most scholars believed that the increase of knowledge in Daniel's prophecy was alluding to the advancing of modern technology at the time of the end. No doubt, technology has always been advancing, but they overlooked that it was about the words to Daniel's prophecy, the words that were shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Daniel 12:8-13 - "As for me, I heard, but I could not understand. So I said, “My lord, what shall be the result of these things?” 9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel. For these words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified and made white and tried. But the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. 11 “From the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12 Blessed is he who waits and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. 13 “But as for you, go your way until the end. Then you shall rest and rise again for your lot at the end of the age.” I believe the increase of knowledge came with the New Testament. And it was none other than Jesus, Himself, who continued and completed Daniel's prophecy. Just as Christ was concealed in the Old Testament and revealed in the New Testament, the same can be said about rapture. The old covenant saints knew about the resurrection, but they had no clue about the mysterious rapture, the Church, the new covenant and even very little about their coming Messiah. I love how the Lord eased Daniel's mind at the end of this prophecy. Daniel knew these things would happen after his life on earth had ended, and that he would be rewarded at the resurrection at the end of the age.
-
I agree that Jesus told them they would be killed. However, He was very clear about the end in verse 14. Then He immediately pointed to the abomination of desolation, which starts the great tribulation in the very next verse. Matthew 24:14-15 - "And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come. The Great Tribulation 15 “So when you see the ‘abomination of desolation,’spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand)," So does enduring to the end mean enduring to the end of your lives, or enduring to the end of the great tribulation, when Jesus promises to gather together His elect (rescue/rapture), immediately after the tribulation? Matthew 24:21-22 - "For then will be great tribulation, such as has not happened since the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. 22 “Unless those days were shortened, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened." In my view, He will shorten those days for the sake of His elect who are living, otherwise no one would be saved. Another version says no flesh would be saved, which is clearly referring to the living elect. We may be straining at gnats here, because I also believe you would be correct for people who lived and died before the great tribulation, but these would rise first in the resurrection of the dead, which precedes the rapture of the living. Jesus is talking about the living here, because He is continuing and increasing knowledge about Daniel's unfinished prophecy... Daniel was told about the resurrection, but nothing about the rapture, as this is precisely where the words were shut up and sealed until the time of the end. Daniel 12:1-4 - "And at that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book. 2 Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, but others to shame and everlasting contempt. 3 Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse of heaven, and those who turn the many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Jesus fills in the blanks and continues where the words to Daniel's prophecy were shut up and sealed until the time of the end, speaking about the rapture of the living, starting at verse 21. Matthew 24:21-22 - "For then will be great tribulation, such as has not happened since the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. 22 “Unless those days were shortened, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened." Interestingly, Daniel was told about the resurrection of the dead, but nothing about the rapture of the living. And hundreds of years later, Jesus continues these words, adding the rapture of the living, but says nothing about the resurrection of the dead. And later, the apostle Paul would confirm both as he put the two together. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 - "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we shall be forever with the Lord." Matthew 24:29-31 - "Immediately after the tribulation of those days, ‘the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other."

Thanks for sharing your thoughts Revelation Man. I don't want to spend too much time and energy on OSAS or whether someone is really saved or not. I do differ with you about this being solely about His disciples. They specifically asked Him about the sign of His coming and the end of the age. They won't be here for the great tribulation, but Jesus answered their question anyway, and in great detail. I believe He did so for the sake of those who would be alive to witness these endtime events. Cheers

Very interesting points you bring up, Dennis. There are several scriptures that are very convincing on both sides of the OSAS issue, even though I didn't intend for this thread to be about that issue. However, I did mention it, so I guess I must also deal with that part as well. I remember years ago, I used to believe that one could lose their salvation. There were plenty of scriptures that would seem to suggest we may be able to lose our salvation. However, everything changed with the Readiness Rapture theory, and understanding the difference between the cold, hot and lukewarm believers and how they will be rewarded when Christ returns. I can now see how God may punish believers without them losing their eternal salvation. Some will suffer loss when it comes time to receive the rewards for the things we've done in His body. As most people know, salvation is a gift, God's grace (unmerited favor) for those who receive His Son. We can't do anything to earn this free gift, nor are we told that we must do certain things in order to keep it. There are promises made for doers of His Word and for those who overcome, but these just bring greater reward. It doesn't mean the others will lose their gift. The parables do show that there will be punishments as well, for wicked or lazy servants, and God is able to punish them without taking their free gift. I don't believe Peter ever lost his salvation, but may have lost his faith for a time, but his faith was later restored. I'm sure he was much stronger in faith after he received the Holy Spirit a few days later. You also mentioned that one man got saved and started out doing great things in the church, but then later he seemed to fizzle out. You questioned was he really saved to begin with? Fair question, but I don't believe it's our place to judge that. God knows which ones belong to Him, and Jesus promised that He would lose none of the ones His Father gave Him. But here's where I think the rubber meets the road. God cannot lie. And it was His promise that everyone who called upon the name of the Lord would be saved. Everyone who confesses with their mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believes in their heart that God has raised Him from the dead, they will be saved, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10). Now, it may be possible for someone to lose their salvation if they later change their mind and renounce or denounce their faith, but I'm not certain about this. Just suggesting that it (may) be possible, but I would not recommend this. I am aware of one act that would most definitely give God an out, so He no longer has to keep His promise of salvation, and that would be when a believer takes the forbidden mark of the beast. If that should happen, it's game over. Cheers

Exactly. Enduring to the end has absolutely nothing to do with our eternal salvation. It seems that Jesus was warning against falling away before He comes, as they will not be saved or rescued (rapture). This removes the cold from the picture. This leaves only the hot and lukewarm for the judgment seat of Christ. I believe the hot are the wise virgins who keep their lamps burning are the ones who'll be ready when He appears and gathers His elect. But at that same time, the lukewarm will also be left, as He promised to spit them out of His mouth...."Two will be in the field, one shall be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding in the mill, one shall be taken and the other left." I believe both the hot and the lukewarm are the saints that will be returning to rule and reign with Christ when He returns for the second coming, but only the hot will be ready and go to the wedding supper. Meanwhile, the lukewarm will be left and will need to be purified, so they will go thru the hour of trial and be overcome by the beast or martyred when they refuse to take the mark. As for those who fell away before He appears, I believe the cold will have to wait for the sheep & goats judgment, which is His second coming. This means that they will have to go through and be protected through God's wrath. I believe they are also those in Rev. 9:6, who will want to die, like the martyrs did before them, but death will flee from them. They will be the sheep (mortals) that will re-populate the earth during His millennial reign. They will also be subject to Christ and His returning saints, both the hot and lukewarm.

Based on the fact that Christmas is not in God's Word, I personally reject this pagan holiday. We do find that Christ's birth is recorded, but rather than going along with the Christmas story bit, I view His birth as fulfilled biblical prophecy. Yes, those who were alive to witness this glorious event had every reason to celebrate at that time, because it took hundreds of years to fulfill. I see no reason to celebrate His birth anymore, however, and additionally, no birthdays whatsoever were ever celebrated in the Bible. Bottom line: Jesus commanded us to do one thing, and one thing only in remembrance of Him. That is communion or the Lord's Supper. He wants us to remember His death until He returns, not His birth. He did not leave glory to come to the earth to be born. No, He came to earth to die for the sins of the world as the Lamb of God. He is the redeemer of fallen man. Me and my family stopped celebrating Christmas in 1993, and this year will be 30 years removed. I will add that I don't condemn others who choose to celebrate it. That is a decision that we must all make on our own. Cheers

Good eye, Shilohsfoal, I believe there's no doubt, Daniel 12:1 and Matt. 24:21-22 are both referring to the same event and the same time in the future. Daniel 12:1 - "And at that time Michael shall stand up, the great prince who stands guard over the sons of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation even to that time. And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book." Matthew 24:21-22 - "For then will be great tribulation, such as has not happened since the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. 22 “Unless those days were shortened, no one would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened."

Matthew 24:13 is often quoted to refute Christian’s who believe in eternal security or “once saved – always saved” (OSAS). Both sides of this hotly debated issue are popular, as there seems to be a 50/50 split among those who believe it has merit versus those who don’t. One side believes our salvation is eternally secure once we accept and receive Christ as our Lord and savior, but it seems that just as many believe that we can lose our salvation. Personally, I believe this scripture is most often misunderstood, misapplied and taken out of context. In this post I hope to shed more light on this subject and share a completely different perspective, so let’s jump right into the scripture in context. Matthew 24:9-14 – “Then they will hand you over to be persecuted and will kill you. And you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake. 10 Then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many. 12 Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” Where I differ greatly from most is that many people assume that Jesus was talking about our salvation and/or whether or not we can lose it. However, I do not believe He was referring to our eternal salvation in the passage above. Sometimes words have several different meanings. And in this case, there is an entirely different meaning for the word “saved.” For instance, if we go into a burning house and save the occupants inside from death, this type of save is a rescue and has nothing to do with spiritual salvation. Could this meaning possibly be what Jesus meant? Why, yes, I believe it is exactly what He meant and now I’ll tell you why I believe this. It is very important that we read the entire text if we want to properly understand what Jesus meant. When I read the text in its entirety, I discovered that Matt. 24:13 is not the only time in this chapter that Jesus mentions the word “saved.” When we continue reading further, we come to the second time Jesus used this word. Lets take a look and then compare the two. Matthew 24:21-22 – “For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.“ In my view, this second mention of the word makes it much clearer. Jesus tells them about a future time of great tribulation, that will be unequaled in the history of the world. It will be so distressing that if those days were not shortened, no flesh would be saved. Some may assume that no flesh being saved would mean the extinction of all mankind on the earth if those days were not shortened, but I don’t see it that way at all. Rather, I believe Jesus was alluding to all living Christians during this specific time (great tribulation) would be killed if those days weren’t shortened. In other words, all living Christians would be killed if Christ doesn’t shorten those days. He said it was for the sake of His elect that those days would be shortened, not for the sake of mankind. Jesus warned of a coming persecution where Christians will be hated by all nations (global government) and killed for His namesake. Revelation 13 tells us about the beast overcoming the saints. This is why I believe Jesus warned that we must be ready, or worthy to be among His chosen (elect). I believe the shortening of those days is alluding to the gathering together of His elect, when the sign of the Son of man appears and rescues those who are ready (rapture). I don’t believe all Christian’s will be ready, however, as there will be just as many martyrs that will be overcome by the beast in those days. Christ warned that two would be in the field in those days, one will be taken and the other left (lukewarm). Two women will be grinding in the mill, one shall be taken and the other left. It appears there will be a 50/50 split when the thief comes to break up the house, cutting it asunder (in two). He also told us about the ten virgins, five were wise and five were foolish. The gathering together of His elect (rapture) in Matt. 24:29-31 corresponds with what Paul said in 1 Thes. 4:16-17. Many pastors and teachers talk about the rapture of the entire church, as if we will all be ready, but I cannot find any scripture that supports the entire church being raptured. If that were so, then why did Jesus warn us all to keep watch and be ready and to not let anyone deceive you? Why did He give all of the warnings and promises to those who overcome in the letters to the seven churches in Rev. 2 and 3? This is why I believe it’s dangerous to assume we will all be ready. Jesus left us with several clues in His parables, as to what He’ll be looking for in His elect. Here’s one that is often overlooked. Matt. 24:45-46 – “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” There are two mighty powerful clues in that short passage above that usually go unnoticed or get overlooked. First, He promises “meat in due season,” which is a clue about the wedding supper for those who are ready; and second, He tells us that He’ll be looking for doers when He comes, not just hearers only. Many believers assume they are ready, but Jesus is actually spelling it out for us in His parables, what it means to be ready and what He’ll be looking for when He returns to gather His elect. Many teach that the church will be raptured, but be careful, for that is not what Jesus said. He said that some will fall away, the elect will be gathered, and some will be left. We should never forget the martyrs who will be killed for refusing the mark of the beast in the end, and Rev. 20 says that these martyrs will also reign with Christ when He returns. The letters to the seven churches were written to believers, so lets not assume those who get left are the unbelievers. It’s important to keep in mind that Matt. 24 & 25 was given as an answer to His disciple’s question about the sign of His coming and the end of the age (Matt. 24:3). Christ will be the judge when He returns, and He was the only one that mentioned the cold, hot and lukewarm believers. What most people do not realize is that He also told us about all three of them in His answer to His disciples question about the sign of His coming and the end of the age in Matthew 24 & 25. Let’s take a look at the cold first. Matthew 24:10-13 – “Then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many. 12 Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold. 13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved.” It appears to this writer that those who fall away or depart the faith will lose their positions in His kingdom, but I believe they will still be saved, as in keep their eternal salvation that Christ purchased with His blood. Remember, salvation is a free gift, God’s unmerited favor, and we are not saved by our works, nor do we have to work to stay saved. We will, however, be judged according to our works, and we’ll be rewarded accordingly when He returns (2 Cor. 5:10, Matt. 16:27 & Rev. 22:12). If one falls away after receiving Christ, God will not take His free gift back, but they will suffer loss of reward instead. 1 Cor. 3:15 reveals that some will be saved, yet only like one escaping through the flames. Additionally, in Luke 12:46-48 Christ warned that there will also be punishments for some of His servants. Why is it that no one ever teaches about this? Luke 12:35-48 – ““Let your waist be girded and your lights be burning, 36 and you be like men waiting for their master to return from the wedding banquet, so that they may open the door immediately for him when he comes and knocks. 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master will find watching when he comes. Truly I say to you, he will dress himself and have them sit down to dine, and he will come and serve them. 38 If he comes in the second watch, or comes in the third watch, and finds them so, blessed are those servants. 39 But know this: If the owner of the house had known at what hour the thief was coming, he would have watched and not have allowed his house to be broken into. 40 Therefore be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.” 41 Peter said to Him, “Lord, are You telling this parable to us, or to everyone?” 42 The Lord said, “Who then is the faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his house servants, to give them their portion of food at the proper time? 43 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 44 Truly, I say to you, he will appoint him over all his possessions. 45 But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master delays his coming,’ and begins to beat the house servants, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk, 46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not look for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him to pieces and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 “That servant who knew his master’s will, but did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.48 But he who unknowingly committed acts worthy of punishment shall be beaten with few stripes. For to whom much is given, of him much shall be required. And from him to whom much was entrusted, much will be asked.“ 1 Corinthians 3:12-15 – “Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” I believe the cold will fall away before the Lord even appears, so they obviously will not be among those who endure to the end or will be ready when the sign of the Son of man appears. And since the cold have removed themselves beforehand, I believe they will forfeit their reward, miss the wedding supper and will no longer be saints that will rule and reign with Christ when He returns to earth for the second coming with His saints. By falling away, the cold will choose to exit His kingdom before the judgment seat of Christ, so they will be judged later, with the sheep & goats or the judgment of the nations instead (second coming), which will determine which mortals (sheep) will get to enter His millennial kingdom. Once persecution comes and the cold fall away, only the hot and lukewarm will remain when the sign of the Son of man appears (rapture/judgment seat of Christ). The gathering of His elect is the judgment seat of Christ, when we see Him choose His faithful servants, those who are “ready” as in the parable of Ten Virgins. Revelation 3:15-16 – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spit you out of My mouth.” Most of the parables in Matt. 24 & 25 deal with the judgment between His hot and lukewarm servants. We know this because the sign of the Son of man appearing comes (after) the falling away, so the cold believers will no longer be in the picture at that time. I believe the hot are His faithful servants that will endure to the end, and they are His elect who will keep their lamps burning with oil. They will be ready for the rapture, but the rapture will also be the moment the lukewarm will get spit out of His mouth (left). Few seem to realize that when Jesus comes like a thief, He won’t be coming to steal. Instead, the thief in this parable is coming to break up the house, cutting it asunder (in two). What house? Judgment begins at the house of God (1 Pet. 4:17-18). Matthew 24:40-41 – “Two will be in the field; one will be taken, and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken, and the other left.” Matthew24:45-51 – “Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? 46 It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. 47 Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 48 But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, ‘My master is staying away a long time,’ 49 and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. 50 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. 51 He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” We see the same judgments continue into the parables in chapter 25 with the ten virgins, five were wise and five were foolish. We see it again in the parable of talents. The servants that were given 5 and 2 talents were rewarded and entered into the joy of the Lord (rapture), but the lazy servant that hid his talent in the ground was cast into outer darkness (left in the dark world). This is why I believe the Readiness Rapture theory should not be overlooked, even though it will likely never be as popular as other theories that are loaded with assumptions. We need to be diligent when we study God’s Word, as God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6). Luke 21:34-36 – “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and cares of this life, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. 35 For it will come as a snare on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.“

This is the nutshell version of my new rapture theory from my book. But a new rapture theory is not the reason I wrote my book. I didn't even realize I had a new theory until I read the first proof-copy of my book, looking for any errors or typos before it went to print. In fact, when the Lord told me I was going to write in 1989, I wasn't a writer then, so I didn't even know I was going to write a book either. I really didn't understand any of this at that time. It wasn't until I discovered a deep and hidden mystery in God's Word several years later and I felt a great burden that I needed to share this new information. I read where Daniel's prophecy was suddenly stopped, as I was studying about the abomination of desolation. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” Then I discovered where Daniel's prophecy was actually continued again. About 500 years after Daniel was given this prophecy, the New Testament was written. I discovered it was none other than Christ, Himself, that continued this prophecy. However, at the time I discovered this truth, most Bible scholars believed the increase of knowledge was foretelling the advancement of modern technology, even though it had absolutely nothing to do with modern technology. It was about the words that Daniel was told to shut up and seal... Daniel 12:8-10 - "As for me, I heard, but I could not understand. So I said, “My lord, what shall be the result of these things?” 9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel. For these words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified and made white and tried. But the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand." So it wasn't about modern technology, but rather, it was the words of Daniel's prophecy that would be continued and knowledge would increase all the way to the time of the end. It is here where my discovery comes into play. I don't know why God chose me to discover this, because I was not a even a writer, not to mention that I had always had trouble explaining complicated things, so this was going to be a great struggle for me. I didn't know I was going to write a book, but I knew I had to share this important information with Christians some how, so I started writing everything down as I kept studying. I found myself going deeper and deeper, and my burden to share this grew heavier and heavier the deeper I went. It was then that I knew I had to write a book somehow. I remember asking the Lord why He was sharing this mystery with me, when there were other writers out there that could deliver this message much better than I could. I told Him that no one knows me and no one was going to listen to little ole me, but He left it to me anyway. Then I read how He chooses the foolish things in the world to confound the wise, the weak things to confound the strong and he calls things that are not to nullify the things that are. After reading that, I knew that I was now qualified too, but I still had no idea where to start when it came to writing a book. It took me seven years to finally finish it. You may be wondering what is the increase of knowledge exactly? Why was Daniel's prophecy stopped and then continued hundreds of years later? And what was my part in all of this? Good questions, indeed. Well, lets remember that Daniel was told his words were to be shut up and sealed and that knowledge would increase until the time of the end. Daniel was given this partial prophecy about 2600 years ago. Then it was completed by Christ over 500 years later. But now it's been nearly 2000 years since, and we're just now discovering that Daniel's prophecy has been continued. Why so long? We are only now, almost 2000 years later, approaching the time of the end, and no one in all of that time has been able to understand it, until now. It's not about modern technology at all. There was a good reason Daniel was stopped precisely where he was stopped. You see, he got knowledge about a time of trouble (great tribulation) not seen since there was a nation, and then his people would be delivered at the time of the resurrection. Stop right there!....What comes immediately after the resurrection? It is none other than the rapture, which was not taught until the New Testament came, which increased Daniel's knowledge. The reason the rapture has become so controversial is because of a series of parables Christ gave that has stumped scholars for nearly two millennia. This is where my book comes into play, because in the final year I was writing my book, the Lord gave me the insight to unlock the hidden meaning of these parables as I was breaking down the increase of knowledge line by line. I had no idea I was creating a new rapture theory, but here it is. I do believe the Lord knew the entire time, but He never told me anything about it. I didn't even know, myself, until my work was finally finished. What an awesome God we serve! Praises to His name!

The new READINESS RAPTURE theory (Part 1)
rollinTHUNDER replied to rollinTHUNDER's topic in Eschatology
Thanks for your encouraging words, Philologos. Honestly, though, I don't really consider myself to be a writer, even though, technically I am because of the Lord's calling, but people have no idea what a struggle it has been and that it took me years to reach the finish line. Believe it or not, I still type with only two fingers. I think I'm just one of the foolish things God sometimes chooses to confound the wise, and one of the things that is not to nullify the things that are (1 Cor. 1:26-29). I agree that it's more of a revelation than a theory. However, I didn't want to mislead anyone or send them down some rabbit hole only to discover its just another one of those controversial rapture theories. Regardless of what I call it, though, it is an alternative to the other rapture theories, so people who aren't sold on the others can give this one a try. You can count all of the major rapture theories on one hand (pre-trib., post-trib., mid-trib, prewrath, & the partial rapture theory), but now the Lord has given me one to put on the other hand. But more than just another rapture theory, I also believe it is part of the fulfillment of Daniel's promise to the increase of knowledge (Dan. 12:1-4), when he was told, "But you, Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.” I have never mentioned that in public before, until now. Before I wrote my book, most Bible scholars believed the increase of knowledge was the increase of modern technology, but my book disproves that. Anyway, this thread is just a nutshell version of the rapture theory in my book. I thought it would be good to write it for those who don't have time to read books. So here it is. -
The new READINESS RAPTURE theory (Part 1)
rollinTHUNDER replied to rollinTHUNDER's topic in Eschatology
Part 2 is now posted as well. -
We don’t often hear much about this, but as I was connecting some dots, as I often do, this just seemed to fall right into my lap. This post will introduce some new details relating to the rapture as well as provide more scriptural evidence in support of the different rewards (cold, hot & lukewarm) believers will receive when Christ returns. It also serves as confirmation for my new rapture theory that isn’t very well known at this early stage, but hopefully that will change as we draw nearer to the time of the end. For those who have never heard of my new rapture theory, I recommend reading part one first. . For those who are familiar with my new theory, you’re aware that the biggest difference between my theory and all others is my discovery of the three (3) rewards that cold, hot & lukewarm believers will receive when the Lord returns, as He said He will be bringing our rewards with Him when He comes, and that these rewards will be based upon our works. . Revelation 22:12 – “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me to give to each one according to his work.“ . 2 Corinthians 5:10 – “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.“ . Matthew 16:27 – “For the Son of Man shall come with His angels in the glory of His Father, and then He will repay every man according to his works.“ . It’s important to understand that believer’s who receive these rewards, whether cold, hot or lukewarm, they must have previously received salvation in Christ, and also that not all believer’s rewards will be the same. I say this because many often get confused between our salvation, which is not based on works, and our rewards which are based on our works or deeds, just as the scriptures I cited above say. Salvation (God’s grace) is a free gift (not earned) that begins the moment we receive Christ as Lord and savior. But on the other hand, our rewards won’t be known or come until the Lord returns, and only then will He render our rewards, based on the things we’ve done while in the body of Christ. As true believers, our sins have already been forgiven, so they will not be judged when He returns. Instead, only our works are judged and He will render our individual rewards when He comes, just as He promised. . 2 Peter 4:17-18 – “For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God, and if it begins first with us, what shall the end be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18 And “If the righteous one is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” . Now please allow me to refresh your memory about the three rewards (cold, hot & lukewarm) in my new theory. If you remember, the cold will fall away (depart the faith) long before the Lord appears to judge the house of God. What could cause many believers to fall away, just before the Lord returns? That remains to be seen, but I believe it will be persecution coming from a new global religion that is already forming under the leadership of Pope Francis. . Matthew 24:10-12 – “Then many will fall away, and betray one another, and hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will rise and will deceive many. 12 Because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold.“ . 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 – “Do not let anyone deceive you in any way. For that Day will not come unless a falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or is worshipped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself as God.“ Have you ever noticed that people often mention the lukewarm in a negative light, but no one ever mentions the cold? They seem to go unnoticed until the Lord briefly mentions them when judging the lukewarm. The cold will actually disqualify themselves, therefore, they won’t even be included in this judgment. Instead, their judgment will be delayed until the Lord returns to judge the nations (second coming), when He separates the sheep from the goats. And since the cold will already be out of the picture, this will leave only the hot and lukewarm to be judged/rewarded when Christ appears (rapture). . Revelation 3:15-16 – “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spit you out of My mouth.” . The judgment of the house of God begins with the sign of the Son of man and the gathering together of His elect (Matt. 24:29-31). This is when He will come like a thief and break-up the house, cutting it in sunder (in two)…Two will be in the field, one shall be taken and the other left. Two women will be grinding in the mill, one shall be taken and the other left…Those who are ready, faithful servants (hot) will be taken (rapture), while He spits the lukewarm out of His mouth, as they will be left. This also gives us another view of the ten virgins, five were wise and five were foolish. I won’t distract you by going too deep into what happens to them here again, but instead I now want to focus on the two different classes in the kingdom of heaven (the greatest and the least), as I’ll share biblical evidence for both classes. I’ll address the greatest first in the passage below. . Mark 10:35-45 – “Then James and John, the sons of Zebedee, came to him. “Teacher,” they said, “we want you to do for us whatever we ask.” 36 “What do you want me to do for you?” he asked. 37 They replied, “Let one of us sit at your right and the other at your left in your glory.” 38 “You don’t know what you are asking,” Jesus said. “Can you drink the cup I drink or be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with?” 39 “We can,” they answered. Jesus said to them, “You will drink the cup I drink and be baptized with the baptism I am baptized with, 40 but to sit at my right or left is not for me to grant. These places belong to those for whom they have been prepared.” 41 When the ten heard about this, they became indignant with James and John. 42 Jesus called them together and said, “You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. 43 Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, 44 and whoever wants to be first must be slave of all. 45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” . So there it is, as Christ said the great in His kingdom will be servants, and whoever wants to be first will be slave of all. So it should be obvious that His faithful servants will be among those who are ready as He gathers together His elect, and they will be rewarded immediately when He comes. Again, two will be in the field, one shall be taken and the other left…This is also precisely when He spits the lukewarm out of His mouth. Lukewarm servants are not always faithful, as they are double-minded and need to be purified, which will occur during the hour of trial (Rev. 3:10-11, 15-18). Unfortunately for them, this is when they will also be overcome by the beast (Rev. 13:7-8) as they will become martyrs when they refuse the mark of the beast. Then they will be rewarded as soon as they are martyred, as their deeds follow them (Rev. 14:13). So His faithful servants (hot) are taken (rapture), while both the cold and lukewarm remain on the earth with the unbelievers’. Now let’s turn our focus to what happens to them (cold & lukewarm) after the rapture, as both groups will be left behind. . Luke 12:45-48 – “But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; 46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 And that servant, which knew his lord’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.” . Since this is a parable, I doubt His servants will be literally beaten, but we can clearly see there is punishment involved. I didn’t include verses 42-44 in the passage above, because it refers to those who will be ready when He comes. But as we can see in verse 46 above, those servants that are not ready will be left with the unbelievers. In verses 47 and 48, the rewards for the cold and lukewarm are actually two punishments, and one is more severe than the other. Those who fall away (cold) will receive many stripes (vs. 47). They will forfeit their positions in the kingdom, and they will not be counted or judged among those in the house of God (1 Pet. 4:17-18), but will instead be judged among the nations afterward, which is a very harsh penalty. On the other hand, the lukewarm will receive a few stripes for not being ready (vs. 48), but they will be purified during the hour of trial and re-enter the kingdom as martyrs (Rev. 3:15-18, 6:9-11, 13:7-8, 14:13, 20:4). It’s easy to see, also, that not all saints will be raptured as other theories claim. . Daniel 12:8-10 – “Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?” 9 And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 10 Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand.” . At that point (after the rapture), it would be much better to surrender your head, rather than trying to survive to the end, as the cold (sheep) will end up doing. The sheep won’t have enough faith to go through with it, but the lukewarm will. And as a result, the sheep (cold) will witness God’s wrath, but He will protect them through it. In fact, after the martyrs have been killed, they will also want to die, but death will flee from them (Rev. 9:6). They are weak, but God is strong! However, they will become subjects in the millennial kingdom, after they have been separated from the goats (unbelievers) during the judgment of the nations. Don’t be fooled by those popular “Left Behind” books and movies. It will be much better to be subjects during the hour of trial (martyrs), than to be subjects during the millennial kingdom. At least the martyrs will return to reign with Christ, which is a much better reward than being ruled by the returning saints. . Matthew 25:31-46 – “When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: 36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. 37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? 38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? 39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? 40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. 44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? 45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.” . The sheep (cold) will be mortals that will be ruled over by Christ and the saints that return with Him (second coming). These returning saints will include both the hot that will be taken (rapture), and the lukewarm that will be left (martyrs). If we paid close attention, we can see the least of His brethren are briefly mentioned as underlined in the parable above, which, again, is the judgment of the nations (sheep & goats). Many assume the least of His brethren is referring to the poor, but it has nothing to do with our wealth or finances. . According to this parable, the sheep will be allowed entrance into His millennial kingdom because they had in some way ministered unto or with the least of His brethren (martyrs) who were not ready when He came (as both were left). If He actually meant “poor” instead of least, that would be referring to both the sheep and goats. But the fact that He calls them the least of His “brethren” signifies they are saints (believers). Now let’s take a look at a passage that mentions both the great and the least in the kingdom of heaven. . Matthew 5:19 – “Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.” . John 14:21 – “Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them” (His appearing). – [emphasis added] . Ah yes, now we’re beginning to see what it really means to be ready when He comes. Not only is He coming for His faithful servants, but they must also do and abide by His commands as well. No wonder we are told to be doers of the Word, and not just hearers or believers only. It certainly appears to me that being ready will require both faith and obedience, just as it was required of the old covenant saints as well. God never changes, but since the new covenant was built upon better promises, giving us more liberty, we new covenant saints need to make sure that we don’t take this freedom for granted. Unfortunately, many are using God’s grace as a license to sin. I didn’t mention it in the passage above, when I discussed the two punishments (Luke 12:46-48), but verse 48 says For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required. What could that mean? And why does no one ever seem to talk about this? . Could it be that because we new covenant believers were given more, that more will be required or expected of us? Just think about all that we’ve been given. We’ve been set free from the bondage of sin and death. We’ve been given more liberty and a new covenant built upon better promises. We’ve been given spiritual gifts, and best of all – we’ve been given the Holy Spirit to dwell inside us and guide us into all truth. We are also told that we must produce fruit. We hold God’s Word in our hands, so we will all be without excuse. The old covenant saints had none of these luxuries, and only God’s ancient prophets had the Holy Spirit in them. . I believe those who think they’ve been given a license to sin are heading for a very rude awakening someday and many will not be ready. Many of the old covenant saints who weren’t given nearly as much will have outperformed them by a country mile, and I suspect the cold and lukewarm will likely be very disappointed and even ashamed when the Lord comes to reward His servants, which will also include the old covenant saints as well. However, much less will be required of the old covenant saints. This should be very sobering. Now let’s take a look at what Jesus said to a Gentile about the wedding supper, which only those who are ready will be attending. . Matthew 8:5-13 – “When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help. 6 “Lord,” he said, “my servant lies at home paralyzed, suffering terribly.” 7 Jesus said to him, “Shall I come and heal him?” 8 The centurion replied, “Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.” 10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith. 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west, and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the subjects of the kingdom will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.” And his servant was healed at that moment.” . Yes, many of the old covenant saints will be at the wedding supper of the Lamb. They sacrificed a lamb every year on the Day of Atonement so that Israel’s sins would be forgiven for that year. Each household would have to sacrifice a lamb on the Passover feast, and put its blood on their door-posts as a memorial for what God did in their exodus from Egypt. In keeping these feasts, they were looking forward to the future promises that would ultimately be fulfilled by Christ, the Lamb of God; but we Gentiles believers’ are now looking back at the cross, where Christ died once, for all, which includes the old covenant saints who are also in Christ. He fulfilled the promises the old covenant saints were looking forward to by faith, when He fulfilled the spring feasts, which are the Lord’s appointed times. And when He returns He will likewise fulfill the fall feasts as well. Israel wasn’t ready when He came the first time and very few were able to recognize and receive Him, but He has warned us to be ready next time, and we will be without excuse. Very sobering, indeed! . Now I want to share something Paul said, as he gave an intriguing clue regarding our rewards, which all of the other theories fail to mention. They teach that the Lord will simply rapture the entire Church, as if everyone is going to be ready when He comes suddenly and unexpectedly. Many assume the saints who are overcome by the beast afterward are those who get saved after the rapture. But they have completely overlooked this golden nugget. This is a very powerful clue that should not go unnoticed. Paul said he once knew a man who was caught up to the third heaven, where he saw inexpressible things, things that are unlawful for a man to tell. . 2 Corinthians 12:1-4 – “Doubtless it is not profitable for me to boast. So I will move on to visions and revelations of the Lord. 2 I knew a man in Christ over fourteen years ago—whether in the body or out of the body I cannot tell, God knows—such a one was caught up to the third heaven. 3 And I knew that such a man—whether in the body or out of the body I cannot tell, God knows— 4 was caught up into paradise and heard inexpressible words not permitted for a man to say.” . I strongly believe that what I’m about to share is a very strong clue about one of the things he saw in heaven, which he was not permitted to tell, so he gave us this clue about it instead. If you remember, earlier I said that only the hot or His faithful servants will be ready when He suddenly appears, and the cold and lukewarm will both be left. I also said that the lukewarm would be purified afterward during the hour of trial, and that they would re-enter the kingdom of heaven once they finally surrendered all. Better late than never. This means that two of the three groups (hot & lukewarm) will be the saints that return with Him at His second coming, even though only the hot will be ready when He comes. . 1 Corinthians 3:8-15 – “Now he who plants and he who waters are one; but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it. 11 For no man can lay a foundation other than the one which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if any man builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each man’s work will become evident; for the day will show it because it is to be revealed with fire, and the fire itself will test the quality of each man’s work. 14 If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.” . Notice very carefully the rewards Paul illustrated above, gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay and straw. Now if we categorize them into each ones likeness, we see that these actually form three separate groups. I will classify them in a list form below, while also putting them in the proper order, according to the value of each category, beginning with the most valuable first. . THREE REWARDS (1) Precious stones (shine) – great (2) Gold and silver (shine) – least (3) Wood, hay and straw (burn) – poor in spirit . Notice the three distinct classes of rewards: (1) Gems; (2) precious metals; and (3) wood, hay & straw. This is very fascinating, especially when we compare them to what the scriptures say about our rewards. Notice also, that two of these shine (great & least), which I believe represents the saints that will be returning with glorified bodies to reign with Christ on the earth during the millennium (1000 years). . Hot = Christ said He would come like a thief, and would break up the house, cutting it in sunder (in two). It’s also very interesting when you consider that a gem or precious stone displays a brilliant shine immediately as soon as it is cut. The precious stones seem to represent those who will be ready for the rapture. . Lukewarm = Precious metals don’t normally shine right away, because they must first be purified or refined in the fire, to burn off the dross or impurities. Christ spit the lukewarm out and counseled them to buy from Him gold refined in the fire (Rev. 3:15-18). The precious metals seem to represent the hour of trial (martyrs). . Cold = Wood, hay and straw cannot endure the fire. They will suffer loss of reward as these are things that will burn up. The wood, hay and straw are things we find in a barn, which is outside of the house (outer darkness). The sheep will be separated from the goats and enter the millennium. Sheep are kept outside, while the goats will burn. The parable of the wheat and tares is very similar as the angels will first gather the tares to be burned. Then they will gather the remaining wheat and put it in the barn. The wood, hay and straw seem to represent the (sheep) in the judgment of the nations. . 2 Timothy 2:19-21 – “But the firm foundation of God stands, having this seal, “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who calls on the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” 20 In a large house there are not only gold and silver vessels, but also those of wood and clay; some are for honor, and some for dishonor. 21 One who cleanses himself from these things will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, fit for the Master’s use, and prepared for every good work.” . The “Once saved-always saved” debate is no longer an issue once we understand the three rewards Christ has for those who received Him. We no longer have to assume the saints that are overcome by the beast are believers who get saved after the rapture. There’s no longer any wonder what, “unto whom much is given, much will be required” means. We no longer have to wonder or guess who those people are who will want to die, but death will flee from them (Rev. 9:6). We won’t have to assume the least of His brethren are the poor anymore, and we will also no longer have to assume that Daniel’s increase of knowledge is modern technology. But who would want to give up all these controversial debates with all of the misconceptions, assumptions and myths? Most people probably won’t be able to see it, but I believe my new Readiness Rapture theory is revolutionary, as it goes deeper and fills in many holes left by the other theories. But I certainly hope they’re ready when He comes. May the good Lord bless you richly as you study His Word in search of His truth, the whole truth and nothing but.

This may seem kind of strange to some, but when I got saved in the summer of 1989, the Lord told me I was going to write, even though I wasn’t even a writer at that time, far from it. I’ll spare you the long story of how all of that unfolded, but learning how to type, write and biblical studies was a very slow process. Only after decades of diligent study would I finally go on to publish a book, which seemed amazing to me. And not only was the Lord faithful to keep His promise, but there was another unexpected surprise when I had finished. And that was, that my book also contains a brand new rapture theory that just seemed to have developed accidentally. I mean, it was never my intention to create a new rapture theory. That thought had never even crossed my mind. This new theory just seemed to develop somehow when I was breaking down the scriptures and adding commentary, while writing my manuscript. I had no idea my words were going to design a new theory. I didn’t even realize it until I finished proof-reading the first proof-copy of my book. I was checking for errors and typos before it went to print and that’s when it finally hit me! I was totally surprised, as the Lord never said anything about a new rapture theory. . I realize I’m arriving very late to the rapture debate, but I have no doubt this is my calling nonetheless. And it comes at a time, it seems, when many have grown weary of the rapture issue, as it’s become very controversial these days, with all of the different theories and beliefs. Some Christians don’t even believe there will be a rapture. Still, others try to avoid this subject altogether by proclaiming a belief in a so-called pan-theory, saying that everything will all pan out in the end – end of subject. No doubt, all biblical prophecies will certainly pan out, but that, in my view, is really just a cop-out. This is not a subject that Christians should be trying to avoid, not when Christ repeatedly warned us to keep watch and be ready, saying that His coming will occur when we least expect it. He also gave us signs and seasons so that we might know when His coming is near. . What are the odds of an ordinary Joe like me, creating a brand new rapture theory? It’s crazy, I know. We can count all of the rapture theories on one hand, and now there’s a new theory on the other hand. I’ll never be able to prove that God told me I was going to write, so I won’t even try. There’s no need to, not when the proof is in the pudding. Continue reading and you’ll find that the Readiness Rapture theory is very unique. The only reason I call it a theory, though, is because it hasn’t happened yet. You’re about to discover, in this blog post, without reading my book, a few different aspects that set this theory apart from all others. God did not call me to echo what other scholars are saying, so this message should be completely different, groundbreaking, and even revolutionary, not to be confused with popular. I don’t want to say much about the older more established theories, but I will explain one grave error they have all made, and it regards Matthew 24. . Lets take a brief look at the two most popular rapture theories. Pre-tribulation rapture scholars have given us the popular Left Behind series. They believe Matthew 24 only relates to the physical second coming of Christ, not the rapture. They also believe Matt. 24 speaks to Israel and/or the Jews only, not the Church. On the other hand, Post-tribulation scholars believe Matt. 24 relates to both, the rapture and the second coming, and that both events will happen on the same day. I disagree with both positions above, but I’d have to give post-tribbers some credit for at least recognizing the rapture in Matthew 24, and that it will occur after the tribulation; but they are still incorrect about the second coming in Matt. 24. In my view, there’s no physical second coming in Matt. 24, only the rapture alone. I’ll say it again. The appearing of the sign of the Son of man is the rapture only, not His physical second coming to the earth. And this is not only what I believe, but I can also prove it. . The grave mistake that scholars have made regarding Matthew 24 is that they have all reached their conclusions after studying only half of the text. The rapture and second coming will be two separate events. The pre-tribbers were right about the two separate events, however, they will not be separated by seven (7) years. Both events will be fulfilled during the fall feasts in the same year, just as the spring feasts were fulfilled during His first coming. Most scholars believe Matthew 24 relates to the second coming, but it’s actually just the sign of His coming, not His physical second coming to the earth. If only they had read Christ’s entire answer instead of just half of it, they might have discovered this truth long ago. . Jesus’ disciples didn’t just ask Him about the sign of His coming only, but the end of the age as well (Matt. 24:3). Christ’s answer did not conclude at the end of chapter 24, where most scholars end their study. His answer actually ran through to the end of chapter 25, where He told them about His second coming and the end of the age. The trouble is that Christ also included a very complex series of parables in between, which has been a stumbling-block to scholars for nearly two millennia. He purposely made it difficult, and to fully understand His answer we must correctly interpret not just one, but all of these parables, and only then can we finally see the big picture. Then we can unlock the clues that were hidden in these amazing parables; but we must be careful, because there are some well placed stumbling-blocks in these parables as well. . Matthew 24:3 (KJV) – “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?” . One of the things I’ve discovered in my study of both chapters, is that Christ actually told us about both events, the rapture and the second coming. Verse (31) is a key verse in both chapters, and we should never lose sight of this groundbreaking revelation. . Matthew 24:31 = Sign of His coming/Gathering of His elect/Rapture Matthew 25:31 = Second coming/Judgment of the nation/End of the age . Hopefully, this discovery will eventually end the rapture/second coming debate regarding Matthew 24. But still, the parables in between these two events have been a stumbling block that has baffled scholars for nearly 2000 years. In fact, most Christians disregard Christ’s teaching altogether, believing instead that Paul was the one who actually introduced us to the mysterious rapture, but that is incorrect. The truth is that Paul was the first to reveal this mystery to Gentile believers. But Christ had already revealed this mystery to His disciples, even though they were slow to understand it all. Their slowness to understand was because He told them about it before they had received the Holy Spirit, before they could understand spiritual things. On another occasion, He told them that He was going away to His Father’s house to prepare a place for them, and promised He would come again and receive them to Himself…And He filled in the rest of the blanks in Matthew 24 and 25. . John 14:2-3 (KJV) – “In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. (3) And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.” . Now I’m not trying to minimize the apostle Paul’s part in this mystery, not in the least. He added some very important clues as well, when he was discussing the resurrection. And when all of the clues are added together collectively, then we can finally begin to see the big picture emerge. It seems that Paul gave us random clues about this mystery, but it was none other than Christ, Himself, that laid it all out for everyone to see, even though we have failed to see it all these years. This mystery has remained unsolved all this time because of all the parables He used when He laid it all out. In some of His other parables, He would sometimes give His disciples the interpretation, but not in these parables about the sign of His coming and the end of the age. No, He left this series of parables for us to figure out, even though no one would for nearly 2000 years. No doubt, it would be impossible to solve this mystery by reading chapter 24 alone, so I’m glad I was led to keep going and read the rest of His answer to His disciples question. It was then that He began to open my mind so that I could understand His parables, which also confirmed my calling into this great mystery. . Now that we’ve established that Christ told us about both the rapture and the second coming, with several parables in between, what is the significance of these parables? In my book I gave a complete breakdown and interpretation of these puzzling parables, but that takes up three (3) entire chapters, so I won’t be able to do that in this short post. I will, however, tell you what these amazing parables represent and what they mean, but let me warn you, this is revolutionary, so don’t be surprised if your current beliefs are challenged. At first, I thought discovering the second coming and the end of the age in Matthew 25 was very significant, but then He also gave me the insight to finally understand these parables, and it totally blew my mind and still does to this very day! . So His second coming is in Matthew 25, where Christ actually returns to judge the nations. However, the judgment of the nations is the second judgment. Before Christ can judge the nations, according to scripture, He must first judge the house of God (1 Pet. 4:17-18), and this is precisely what we’re seeing in the parables that are in between His appearing, the sign of His coming (Matt. 24) and His second coming (Matt. 25). In a word, these parables also provide the missing clues about the judgment seat of Christ. The rapture and second coming are both two separate judgments, with the hour of trial in between (Rev. 3:10-11). The apostle Paul briefly told us about the judgment seat of Christ (2 Cor. 5:10), but he failed to give us any clues about it whatsoever. Nor did he tell us when or where the judgment seat of Christ would be held. . 1 Peter 4:17-18 (KJV) – “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? (18) And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?” . Notice the Two Judgments: 2 Timothy 4:1 (KJV) “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;” . Many scholars simply assume the entire Church will be raptured into the clouds, for the judgment seat of Christ, but scripture in no way supports this assumption. This is a common belief now, but assumptions like this can keep us from seeing the truth. Jesus simply said the angels will gather together His elect (chosen). Many also claim the Church or all born again believers will be raptured based on their salvation experience, but the scriptures do not support this either. My theory offers another possibility. . Some have recognized that not every believer will be ready, as they believe that only true believers will be raptured instead. However, the Bible mentions nothing about so-called true believers, but instead, Jesus did mention cold, hot and lukewarm believers that none of the other theories mention; and He also warned that His servants must be ready. This assumption is why I believe the other rapture theories are inferior, and leave many believers with a false sense of security. They don’t go deep enough, and have too many holes that are just filled with assumptions. This is why His parables are too important to neglect or ignore, because they contain all of the clues about the rewards believers will receive when He returns. Did you know the parable of the sower also provides clues about the three different types of believer (cold, hot & lukewarm)? . Revelation 3:15-16 (NIV) – “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth” . Paul mentioned the Judgment seat of Christ, but failed to tell us much about it. Christ was the only one that mentioned anything about the cold, hot and lukewarm believers. He warned us to be ready, not to assume we will all be ready. His parables are important because they contain the clues about His judgment seat. And once we understand these parables, then we can finally see what becomes of the cold, hot and lukewarm believers, as He laid it all out so beautifully . Contrary to popular belief, we will not be rewarded for receiving Christ as our savior, as many assume. That was a free gift (God’s grace) to everyone who receives His Son. We receive that gift the very moment we receive Christ as our Lord and savior. But that is only our first step in the beginning of our new life in Him. Our rewards, on the other hand, will not be known or given until He returns, and scripture tells us these rewards will be based on the works we’ve done after we received Him. No one ever teaches this, but these scriptures should never be ignored. Three different rewards will given for cold, hot and lukewarm believers, and it should be noted that punishment is also involved (see Luke 12:35-48). . 2 Corinthians 5:10 (NIV) – “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.” . Matthew 16:27 (KJV) – “For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.” . Revelation 22:12 (KJV) – “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” . Many believe the Church will be raptured and meet in the clouds at the judgment seat of Christ, but again, I’d stress caution with this assumption. I see another possibility. God’s ways are higher than mans’ ways. On the earth, men must make an appearance in a court of law, where they present their case before a judge. But this will not be necessary in the Supreme Court of the universe. Jesus is already seated on His throne. There’s no need to present any evidence. Why, because He already knows, and scripture tells us that nothing we say or do on this earth is hidden from Him. All of the evidence will already be recorded in the books in heaven as a permanent record. I can’t prove this, of course, but I strongly believe this is the way it will be when the books are opened. It seems that His judgment will already be made by the time He departs His throne, because He said He’s bringing our reward with Him when He comes. He will give to each their portion, and some servants, He says, will be left with the unbelievers (Luke 12:46). I implore you to read that for yourself. This is why He warned us to be ready when He returns, unlike the Jews that failed to recognize Him in the 1st century. . Hebrews 4:13 – “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.” . Revelation 3:15 – “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! . Luke 12:46 – “The master of that servant will come in a day when he thinketh not, and at an hour when he is not aware of, and will cut him off, and give him his portion with the unbelievers.” . Luke 21:34-36 – “Take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts become burdened by excessiveness and drunkenness and anxieties of life, and that Day comes on you unexpectedly. 35 For as a snare it will come on all those who dwell on the face of the whole earth. 36 Therefore watch always and pray that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will happen and to stand before the Son of Man.” . Malachi 3:2 – “But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:” So Paul wasn’t the only one to teach about the rapture. He was only part of this equation. In fact, we might even say that he was the one who summed it all up and/or confirmed what Daniel and Christ had said about this subject previously. Let’s not forget what Paul, himself, has said, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses shall a word be established (2 Cor. 13:1, Deu. 19:15, Matt. 18:16). By that standard, he should not be the only one proclaiming a previously unknown truth in scripture. . 2 Corinthians 13:1 (KJV) — “This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.” . My book actually begins in Daniel 12, where the prophet Daniel was given a prophecy about the time of the end, a future time of trouble (tribulation) not seen since there was a nation, followed immediately by the resurrection. Then he was suddenly told to shut up the words and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased. Many scholars believe Daniel’s prophecy foretells the increase of modern technology, but I disagree, and this is precisely where my first major discovery began in my book. I contend that the increase of knowledge has more to do with the resurrection/rapture than it does modern technology. As I proved in my book, the New Testament is the increase of knowledge, when Daniel’s prophecy was actually continued. In short, Daniel was ordered to shut up the words and seal the book right after he was told about the resurrection…and then hundreds of years later, Christ and then Paul increased knowledge about this mystery in the New Testament. . My new mathematical/biblical formula for the increase of knowledge: Resurrection (Dan. 12:2, 1 Thes. 4:16); Rapture (Matt. 24:31, 1 Thes. 4:17) . Increase of Knowledge by Christ and confirmed by Paul: . Resurrection (Daniel 12:1-2) – Daniel + Rapture (Matt. 24:29-31) – Christ ————————————————————— = Resurrection/Rapture (1 Thes. 4:16-17) – Paul . The resurrection was taught in the Old Testament, but the rapture wasn’t taught until the New Testament. Just as Christ was concealed in the Old Testament and revealed in the New Testament, the same can be said about the resurrection and rapture. Daniel told us about the resurrection just before he was told to shut up the words and seal the book and that knowledge would increase later, even to the time of the end. This new knowledge relates directly to the mystery of the rapture, which was withheld from the Old Testament. So Christ later added the rapture of the living to Daniel’s limited knowledge of the resurrection, and later Paul would confirm both. . Interestingly, Daniel knew nothing about the rapture of the living, and Christ said nothing about the dead when He concluded Daniel’s prophecy (increased knowledge). But a beautiful thing happens when we add the two together, as Paul did in 1 Thes. 4:16-17. This gives us the dead in Christ rising first, then we who are alive and remain at that moment will meet them in the clouds/air. Unfortunately, most scholars and teachers tell us the entire Church will be raptured, as if we will all be ready. I must stress that this is only their assumption that is not backed by scripture. Many will fall away (cold), some believers will be ready (hot), and still others (lukewarm) will be left with the unbelievers (Luke 12:46) and become martyrs during the hour of temptation, which also proves that not all believers will be ready when our Lord appears. . Revelation 3:10-11 (KJV) — “Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.” . Revelation 6:9-11 (KJV) – “And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.” . Revelation 13:7-8 (KJV) — “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. 8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” . Revelation 14:13 (KJV) — “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.” . Revelation 20:4 (KJV) — “And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.” . There is one other important thing I should briefly discuss before I close, which is why the rapture and second coming cannot occur on the same day. I wrote about this in the last chapter of my book, and this is where the fulfillment of the fall feasts comes into play. These are the Lord’s Holy days, which declare His appointed times, that can only be fulfilled by Christ alone. These are the times and seasons we should be watching, even though most believers today are celebrating pagan holidays past down from the ancient Roman culture instead. I’m so glad I repented of my former ignorance. . Christ fulfilled the spring feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits & Pentecost) during His first coming, and He will likewise fulfill the fall feasts (Trumpets, Atonement & Tabernacles) upon His return. These ancient feasts are still very relevant today, as they foretell the Lord’s appointed times and the world will witness some major biblical events when our Lord returns to fulfill them. . Just as Christ fulfilled the spring feasts (death, burial and resurrection), His second coming will fulfill the fall feasts, which will include the rapture, saving Israel and the second coming/judgment of the nations/end of the age. The fall feasts will take three (3) weeks to complete, and other events in between them will include the wedding supper for those who are ready, and the hour of temptation for those believers who aren’t, when many martyrs will be killed. And finally, the end of the tribulation is not the end of the age as many believe. There will be an additional 45 days after the tribulation, as Daniel was given the timeline. And the additional 45 days allows plenty of time for a post-trib/pre-wrath rapture, as well as the judgment of the nations, followed by God’s wrath. . Daniel 12:8-13 (KJV) – “And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? (9) And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. (10) Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand. (11) And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. (12) Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. (13) But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.” . So there it is, the Readiness Rapture theory in a nutshell. I didn’t want to say too much about the rewards and what becomes of the cold, hot & lukewarm believers or give away too much information regarding His parables in this post because I didn’t want to ruin the suspense for those who want to read my book (Who Will Be Ready When the Trumpet Sounds?). I highly doubt this new theory will ever become popular, but then again, neither was Noah’s warning of coming judgment; and we all know that judgment is coming again. Like the days of Noah, I believe this is an urgent message for today, because many are searching for truth at a time that Paul warned would come, when people will not endure sound doctrine, but will gather many teachers who’ll say what their itching ears want to hear, turning away from truth and teach myths and fables instead (2 Tim. 4:1-4). If this message has touched you, please consider sharing it with others. All praises to God and glory to His name! . Matthew 13:33 (KJV) – “Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.”

Eschatologists, what version of the Bible?
rollinTHUNDER replied to Omegaman 3.0's topic in Eschatology
When it comes to (studying) the end-time, I prefer the KJV, but when something in it isn't clear, I'll read several other versions to get a better understanding. However, when I write or reply to a topic, I may not always use the KJV. Instead, I'll often choose the version I feel says it the best. If they are close, I'll stay with the KJV. Cheers- 16 replies

THE READINESS RAPTURE: It's not just another rapture theory
rollinTHUNDER replied to rollinTHUNDER's topic in Eschatology
Hey Marv, Sorry, I forgot to come back to this. In my view, Armageddon occurs with the second coming after the rapture, during the judgment of the nations (sheep & goats/Matt. 25:31-46). Not sure how long it will take for the 200 million to reach Israel, but as you say there will be an additional 45 days until the end of the age (Dan. 12:11-12). I believe the rapture will occur about two weeks before this, at the feast of trumpets (Matt. 24:29-31). Notice before the sign of the Son of man appears, the moon is not seen. This is the phase of the moon just before the first sliver of the new moon is seen. As soon as they see the new moon appear, this is the signal for the feast of trumpets to begin. This is the only feast that no man knows the day or the hour. On the other hand, the moon is always full at the start of the feast of Tabernacles, which is two weeks later, and the blood moon (Rev. 6:12-15), a full lunar eclipse fits perfectly and is also the sign that precedes the day of the Lord's wrath (Joel 2:31/Acts 2:20). Those who are ready will be raptured immediately after the tribulation (Matt. 24:30-31), as those days will be shortened for the sake of the elect, otherwise no flesh will be saved (raptured) [Matt. 24:21-22]. This is also the time when the lukewarm will be spit out and left....Two will be in the field, one shall be taken and the other left... Those who are not ready will have to enter the hour of trial or temptation (Rev. 3:10), and this is when the lukewarm will be purified as they will be martyred for refusing the mark of the beast. A lot of people believe people will be getting saved after the rapture, but as you pointed out, scripture says none will repent. I don't see anyone getting saved after the rapture. Ready or not, here comes the judge! I believe it will be too late once the Lord appears, which is another reason we need to be ready. Of course, everyone will believe once He appears, but that's not faith. The Lord said He's bringing our reward when He comes. Those who are ready will be going to the wedding supper (Luke 12:35-48), which also includes punishments for those who aren't ready. As far as believers go, there will be the cold, hot & lukewarm. The cold will fall away before He even appears, so they will disqualify themselves. These will be judged at the second coming with the nations and I believe they will be the sheep and/or survivors along with the remnant of Israel. Then after the cold fall away, this will leave the hot and the lukewarm when the Lord appears. The hot (elect) will be ready (rapture), while the lukewarm will be spit out and left. The entire Church will not be raptured, because the martyrs (lukewarm) will be missing (Rev. 6:9-11, 20:4). Those who are ready will be rewarded when He comes, but the martyrs won't be rewarded until after they've been killed (Rev. 14:13). Notice it says their deeds (reward) follows them. However, this does not include all martyrs of all time, only the martyrs killed after the rapture (hour of trial), which will be many. But this does not include the martyrs that die before the rapture, for they will be resurrected with the dead in Christ, so they will go first. I hope this helps Cheers -

John 14:1-4 - "Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God. Believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many dwelling places. If it were not so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, you may be also. 4 You know where I am going, and you know the way.” Mark 13:26-27 - "And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven." 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 - "For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." THE READINESS RAPTURE: It's not just another rapture theory
rollinTHUNDER replied to rollinTHUNDER's topic in Eschatology
Hey William, Yes, in a sense it is a type of coming, as in coming in the clouds, but it's probably more accurately described as His appearing or the appearing of the Son of man, the rapture for those who are ready or His elect. But I disagree that He will start personally intervening in earthly affairs immediately. Those who are ready will go to the wedding supper (Luke 12:35-48), which also shows that some of His servants will not be ready, and punishment is also involved. The actual second coming to the earth with His saints will not be until 2 weeks later, according to the fall feasts and the different phases of the moon in Matt. 24:29 and Rev. 6:12-13. The new moon = not seen, blood moon = full lunar eclipse, which would be about two weeks later. His appearing is the sign of His coming (rapture), and the blood moon is a sign that precedes His wrath (Joel 2:31). His descent in Rev. 19 will be after the blood moon, which again, will be at least 2 weeks after the rapture. Also, those who are ready will be kept from the hour of trial (Rev. 3:10), as those days will be shortened for the sake of the elect (Matt. 24:21-22). The saints that are not ready (lukewarm) will be spit out or left to enter the hour of trial and they will be overcome by the beast (martyred). God will not avenge their blood until the last martyr has been killed (Rev. 6:9-11), for they will also return with the Lord (Rev. 20:4). That's my take. Cheers -
THE READINESS RAPTURE: It's not just another rapture theory
rollinTHUNDER replied to rollinTHUNDER's topic in Eschatology
Many scholars assume the Church will be raptured into the clouds, for the judgment seat of Christ, but scripture in no way supports this assumption. This is a common belief now, but assumptions like this can keep us from seeing the truth. Jesus simply said the angels will gather together His elect (chosen). Many also claim the Church or all born again believers will be raptured based on their salvation experience, but the scriptures do not support this either. Some have recognized that not every believer will be ready, and they claim only the true believers will be raptured instead. The Bible mentions nothing about so-called true believers, but Jesus did mention cold, hot and lukewarm believers and He warned that His servants must be ready. This assumption is why I believe the other rapture theories are inferior, leaving many believers with a false sense of security. They don’t go deep enough, and have too many holes that they just fill with more assumptions. And this is why His parables are too important to neglect or ignore. . Revelation 3:15-16 (NIV) – “I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth” . Christ was the only one that told us about the cold, hot and lukewarm believers. He warned us to be ready, not to assume we will all be ready. He gave His parables as clues about His judgment seat. We will not be rewarded for receiving Christ as our savior; that was a free gift to everyone who receives Him, the very moment they receive Him. But that was only our first step, the beginning of our new life in Him. Our rewards, on the other hand, will not be known or given until He returns, and these will be based on the works we’ve done after we received Him. No one ever teaches this, but it’s scripture that should never be ignored. Three different rewards will given to the cold, hot and lukewarm believers, and it should be noted that punishment is also involved (see Luke 12:35-48). Many believe the Church will be raptured and meet in the clouds for the judgment seat of Christ, but again, I’d stress caution with this assumption. I see another possibility. God’s ways are higher than mans’ ways. Jesus is already on His throne in heaven and He won’t need us to show up and present our case, like we do in an earthly court of law. No need to present any evidence. Why, because He already knows, and scripture tells us that nothing we say or do on this earth is hidden from Him. Everything will already be recorded in the books in heaven as a permanent record. I can’t prove this, of course, but I have a strong hunch this is the way it will be. It seems that His judgment will already be made, because He said He’s bringing our reward with Him when He comes. He will give to each their portion, and some servants, He says, will be left with the unbelievers (Luke 12:46). Read it for yourself. This is why He warned us to be ready. So Paul wasn’t the only one to teach about the rapture. He was only part of this equation. In fact, we might even say that he summed it all up and/or confirmed what Daniel and Christ had said about this subject previously. Many scholars believe Daniel’s prophecy foretells the increase of modern technology, but this is precisely where my first major discovery begins. And I contend that it has more to do with the resurrection/rapture. As I proved in my book, the New Testament is the increase of knowledge, when Daniel’s prophecy was actually continued. Daniel was ordered to shut up the words and seal the book right after he was told about the resurrection, but later Christ and Paul increased knowledge about this mystery in the New Testament. . Introducing my new mathematical biblical formula about the increase of knowledge: Resurrection (Dan. 12:2, 1 Thes. 4:16) – Rapture (Matt. 24:31, 1 Thes. 4:17) Daniel 12:1-2 + Matthew 24:29-31 = 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 . The resurrection was taught in the Old Testament, while the rapture was taught in the New Testament. Just as Christ was concealed in the Old Testament and revealed in the New Testament, the same can be said about the resurrection and rapture. Daniel told us about the resurrection. Christ added the rapture of the living and Paul confirmed both. Daniel knew nothing about the rapture of the living, and Christ said nothing about the dead when He concluded Daniel’s prophecy (increased knowledge). There are many fascinating details about this in my book, too many to post here. I warned you this might be revolutionary, not to mention very sobering as well. Many will fall away, some will be ready, and others (lukewarm) will be martyred during the hour of temptation. Most people don’t know it yet, but this mystery is hereby solved. . Matthew 13:33 (KJV) – “Another parable He spoke to them: “The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal till it was all leavened.” . There is one other important thing I should briefly discuss before I close, which is why the rapture and second coming cannot occur on the same day. I wrote about this in the last chapter of my book, and this is where the fulfillment of the fall feasts come into play. Just as Christ fulfilled the spring feasts (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits & Pentecost) during His first coming, He will likewise fulfill the fall feasts (Trumpets, Atonement & Tabernacles) upon His return. These ancient feasts foretell the Lord’s appointed times, and will include the rapture, saving Israel and the second coming/judgment of the nations/end of the age. The fall feasts will take three (3) weeks to complete, and other events in between them will include the wedding supper for those who are ready, and the hour of temptation for those who aren’t, when many martyrs will be killed. And finally, the end of the tribulation is not the end of the age. There will be an additional 75 days after the tribulation, and Daniel also provided us with the timeline. My theory may never become popular, but when all is said and done, it just might be the last one standing. All praises to God and glory to His name!
