I agree, I'm expecting either a electronic chip or tatoo of some sort. At the moment I really don't think its a spiritual mark. How do you buy or sell anything with a spiritual mark or non physical mark? Is the person at the till gonna go "Yep, I can feel it, you've definately got the mark, buy as you wish" or "Sorry buddy, I'm definately not feeling it here. Security, arrest this man!" Surely it has to be physical?

And seeing KatieK's last post about her parents not really being Christians, then perhaps some of my advice might hold some water. Perhaps her next best step is to try and get her parents interested in Jesus and with prayer they'll become more truthfully involved and more aware of the dangers of what's being preached at their church. David and Goliath? KatieK, You can't be the only one who feels this way in your church, there must be others who see the deception. I say strength in numbers (and God is a big number! ) try talk to other church members, I'm sure you'll find some who agree with you but are also unsure of what to do. If you do find others like you then you should gather together and approach the pastor and the pastor must show you Biblical proof of her statements. God has given you this right!!! Regardless of how young you are you still deserve the truth of God and anyone who tells you a different story other than God's Word must be approached. Talk to your parents and explain your point to them, ask them what they think.

How about doing both? Move out of your parents place, but find a place nearby? In that way you get your independence and you not to far to say "hi" to your folks. Move with your folks to the new state, city or town. Then once you're there find a place of your own nearby.

Serenity Grace, No need to to cry anymore, when you think of Jesus on the cross try to show gratitude and thankfulness, I mean I'm sure you do but when that image comes to mind try to think of why He did it. The way He suffered is disheartening but He accepted it with love for the people who would also accept it - His sacrifice. When you see His face in that state remind yourself that this is the past and with His death and ressurection He has conquered sin, death and satan. Jesus has risen! He is no longer nailed down and nothing can stop Him now. When He returns to take His rightful kingdom, He will be the pure image of power - not being put up for trial, nor whipped, nor beaten, nor abused, He'll come with a power so great that even his words, which will be like a double edged sword, will cause destruction of the wicked and those who nailed him down. Jesus is no longer the image you see on the cross - don't cry, instead have joy! Because He is coming back with all your hopes and...well yes...dreams.

I'm all for celebrating Jesus' birthday, but are the decorations necessary, the tree an' all that? I've read many a time that these are pagan based symbols.

Hi everyone, Ever had a religious dream and what do you make of it? I had a religious dream a couple years back. Naturally it was strange , very short but incredible. It was very hazey and couldn't really see everything clearly, I dreamt that I was on the slope of a hill, there were quite a lot of people around but I couldn't see who they were, I felt like a child too. We had gathered around a certain person who was standing on a mound of sand or grass, it was Jesus Christ. I couln't see his face and had no idea of his features but I knew it was Him, it was just a feeling I had. All he kept saying was "Don't worry anymore, I am coming. Don't worry, I am coming soon. I am coming tomorrow." After hearing that a couple times something clicked, it felt as though I didn't need to worry about a thing, I mean NOTHING, have you ever had that feeling? Why worry anymore, soon there will be no reason for it - there's nothing in it, He'll be here soon so worrying is pointless. Then as the dream faded I fell into the most peaceful sleep I probably ever had, I just felt everything come off my shoulders, total relief, total relaxation, nothing bothered me. When I woke up, I just thought WOW, that was awesome! What an incredible dream and sleep. I think of this dream quite often and it makes me think about heaven, if this is what believing in Jesus means then why do we worry so much even about the smallest things, just remember - there is a peace coming for you, a peace that none of us have ever really experienced. One day that peace will be with you and will never let you get harmed. He is coming! Anyone else have dreams like this?

The word in latin for "IN" is the same one for the word "ON". In capite = in head, on the head in capitem = into the head, onto the head it could be either. Let's see? What could be termed as 'IN' and 'ON'? - a tattoo? Hmmm!! I read somewhere (unfortunately I have no reference to this...) that some technological companies where looking into 'print' that could be read/scanned like a barcode but would be able to contain far more data. And any thoughts as to why the RIGHT hand and not the left hand or shoulder or arm? Why would it have to be the right hand or the forehead? Would this be just the required thing (command) or is their a biological/technological reason for this? The Bible stipulates that the mark will be in the right hand or in the forehead but currently these Verichips are placed in the upper arm or just below the elbow and is not specific to the right or left sides.

Hot and sunny, slight wind and a few clouds, a real sun burner kind of day in Cape Town. You guys with the snow are sooo lucky, I love those conditions. I wish I lived in a place where it snows. The first time I experienced those type of temperatures was a year ago when I was 29 and that was in Europe. Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters; Rev 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. Also, if you look a little further in Revelations it again mentions another star that falls to earth and this time it actually refers to a being, so perhaps the star of the third trumpet is also a being (angel/demon). People, please. Is it pretribulation or posttribulation rapture? I currently believe its posttribulation, but if I'm wrong please let me know with the back-up of Scripture. Thanks

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. These two verses are reference to the church of Laodicea, the church of the end of times. This can apply to individuals too. If you believe in Jesus but do not live a Christian life then you'd fall under these verses, note: "I will spue thee out of my mouth." You will be rejected. There are no half measure when it comes to Christianity, no sitting on the fence. Plainly put - it's His way or hell way. But why choose hell way anyway? God Bless LE2W

I've read most of this post and I see DoK getting very frustrated. Seems like we're missing the real question/s here or we have only partially answered them. So, I thought I'd give it a shot. Please DoK, bear with me here, I get the impression that you want to know what is the minimum you need to do to get into heaven or to avoid hell. Or can you be a Christian with faith in Christ without having to do all the stuff that most Christians feel obligated to do and still get into heaven? And can you be a Christian with faith in Christ and just live a 'normal life'? Please confirm if this is correct.
