  3. Hi....at 15 it is very difficult to know the differance between love and what we brits call puppy love(its not lust)...however saying that...my first hubby was 26 and a half years older than me...and we got on brilliantly...except my familiy never spoke to me again besides my mom and sister...why arn't we together??? he started his own buisness and i was too wrapped up being mom for us to remember to have time with each other...it had nothing to do with age...i was with him 12 years...i've not had a love like it scince....but at 15 my honest advice based on experiance as for a femle youth leader to be under and give yourself some space from him for about 12-18 months....then wait of God...that last bit is real important...and i know your going to sound horrified...but confide in your mom or female carer(whoever you live with) hope this helps

  5. darkest red...hi...i think I may know what you mean...to me(and this is only and opinion)true repentance is a heart thing...for example...if you feel greved or upset at anything you may have done confess it and never repeat it...that will bring you forgivness...but if you pray for forgiveness ..just because you know you've done wrong and its just a guilt trip and your not bothered if you do it again...then i doubt you will get forgiveness...that as i said though is only my opinion...I could be wrong hope this helps

  8. First let's look at a few verses on the Word of God itself. All scripture comes from God. So, anything contained in the 66 books of the bible is God's Word. In the next part of this verse we see it is profitable for doctrine. If you stumble upon something in the bible that does not fit your theoloy, then you can not ignore it. You must change your theology to match what God's Word says. In the next part of this verse it says reproof. Strong's defines reproof as Anything found within the bible can and should be used as evidence. When speaking to Christians, the best evidence is found in the bible. In the next part of that verse we see correction. If you find someone is wrong in their theology, we are to show them in the bible where their theology is in error. So, instead of writing a paper with my opinions, we are going to use the word of God. This way, all following discussion dealing with this subject will remain civil. You can not argue with God. Many times when we do find something in the bible, the common error is to single out that verse and claim it as doctrine. While this makes sense, it is flawed logic. To understand anything, you must understand the entire message, not just single sentences. The same is true in the bible. To understand any major concept in the bible, you must take the whole bible and every verse contained within it dealing with that topic, into consideration to understand the entire picture. So, let's now look further into our main topic here. As you can see here, we see the Word of God telling us that not only men will prophesy, but also women will prophesy too. This is showing us that men and women will be using God's gifts given to them in order to edify his church. Tradition. Alot of the issues today lie in tradition. Many religions and groups of people take tradition, andmake it doctrine. Look at the Pharisees. They had their man-made traditions, and they made these traditions doctrine. Now in Numbers chapter 27, we have a story about Zelophehad. Well, actually this story isn't so much about him because he dies before this chapter. The tradition back in that day was if someone dies, the son inherits the land, animals, and so forth. But Zelophehad didn't have a son. He instead had 4 daughters. If there was no son, the inheritance would then go to father's brothers. The girls did not like this tradition. So, Moses did the only thing he knew to do. Bring it to God. God answered him back saying God''s Word takes authority over any tradition. As you can see here, God told Moses that the daughters will inherit part of the father's estate, then made a law about daughters inheriting in the future. So, let's find out what God's Word says about the tradition of women's roles in the church. This is important to note. This does not say men put on Christ, but it says For as many as were baptized into Christ put on Christ. That means everyone who accepts Christ as their Lord and Savior puts on Christ. To continue on with that thought the bible then says There is no Jew nor Greek, bond nor free, male nor female.... why? Because we are all one in Christ Jesus. That's a powerful statement. God is saying that we are all one in Christ. God does not lie. Brothers and Sisters, "if you have ears then hear, if you have eyes then see". God's Word is the infallible truth. God can not lie. He will reveal the truth in His Word to us. IF I can find even one woman who was in rule over a man, would that not override the man-made tradition of women not being in a leadership role in the church? IF I can find one woman in the bible who ruled over a man, would that not tell you that women can preach and teach to a man? If the man-made tradition were to be doctrine, this would mean every man could not work for a woman , this would include any woman being in a higher position than him. Many women own businesses now a days, and that would mean alot of men would be out looking for another job. I am about to start up some controversy, and I know it. But as our verse in 2 Timothy 3:16 states, I can do so using the evidence of the Word of God. I give you Deborah. In judges chapters 4 and 5 We hear about Deborah. As you can see here Deborah was a prophetess and a judge. Now, a judge was a ruler of a country back in those days. Right here we see in histry a woman ruling over a country. This was not any country, this was God's chosen people. If man-made tradition is God's Word, do you think God would have allowed a woman to rule over His chosen people? I think not. Was there men in Israel? Yes there was. In fact there was a man named Barek who was under Deborah. Deborah recieved a message from God that said in Judges 4:6-7 This is God speaking to a woman ruler of His chosen people that He will help her be victorious in battle. Just like our times, there men back then who also felt as though women should not be in leadership over them. So Barek then replied in verse 8 Barek is in essence saying to her, you want to rule like a man, then you need to follow through like a man. Did she follow through like a man? Yes she did! Verse 9 states You go girl!! God is going to let a mere woman defeat Sisera, and Barek, no one will give you glory for winning the battle. So how exactly does this play out? Well, verse 14 tells us that the Lord went ahead of Barek and his army of ten thousand solidiers in battle. God confused the horses of Sisera and his men, and Sisera's army was in major dissarray. Because of God's might, Sisera's ran scared and hid inside the tent of Jael. Jael was the wife of Heber who had a peace treaty with the king of Hazor. You're gonna love this. Sisera, being tired from the fight, fell asleep under the blanket Jael threw over him to hide him. Jael took a tent peg and a hammer and drove it into the temples of Sisera. Do you see the importance? sisera was brought down by a woman!! The Cannanite army and King was delivered to Israel. Who led Israel? Deborah. God must view men and women equal in order to not only allow a women to rule over His chosen people, but to also aid her in war enough to deliver the enemy army into her hands. One of the best illustrations of this equality is found in Genesis. Yes the creation of man. In chapter 1, we have a brief overview of creation. Humans, not just men, will rule over all living creatures, plants, and the Earth. Notice my emphasis. THEM. God creates man and women. In verse 28, we see God gave this command to THEM. Fill the Earth with people and bring it under your control. Was this command given to the man alone? No. Say it with me here folks, It was given to THEM! Let's go into chapter 2, the actual creation of man and woman. We are all aware of how Adam was created, Dust of the Earth. He was made whole. But in the first chapter God told THEM to multiply. Obviously Adam could not do this himself. He put a deep sleep to come over Adam in the second Chapter. Ok, so God takes a rib from Adam. Here we have 1 whole and God taking a part of that whole to create another living being. Imagine a a T-shirt thatcosts $10.00. You take that $10 and seperate it to be 2 five dollar bills. Does it still equal out to be $10? Yes. Does one of those $5 equal out to be $7 while the other only $3? Ok, let's look at Genesis chapter 5 verse 2. What does this verse say? God created man and woman, yet he called them both man. Let me say that again. God created man and woman, yet he called them both man. IF both man and woman were called man, by God, would that not signify their equality? Are men and women both created equal? Yes. Has God put a woman over a man authoritatively in the bible? Yes. Has God given other women in the bible spiritual gifts such as prophesy to be used? Yes. Does God override any man-made Tradition about women's inheritance? Yes. Does God supercede any man-made doctrine about women being unable to teach or preach to a man? Well, I guess that lies on your belief. Do you believe God is creator of all, is the most high God, is ruler of the Earth, and has the final say in all things? IF so, then Yes. Women can preach and teach.
