Interesting question. Jesus to me is the Lord of All, the Way, Truth, and the Life, the Redeemer. He is the only way through heaven. He is perfect and without sin. He is one distinct person in three "entities" (The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost). I believe that he was sent here from his Father in Heaven to lead us into salvation. Other than that...
I find that I have a real passion for events like the one I mentioned previously. I really feel guilty for the execution in a way. I didn't even hear about until earlier today, and I feel like I should have done something. Prayer, even. The way I see it, God's will is for all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the Truth. If we are sent to do his will, and these young ment died without knowledge of the truth, we have ultimately failed. I know that it is impossible for everyone to come to the knowledge of the Truth, but I can't see into these young men's hearts, their conscience voice which I believe to be God's written law in their hearts. That is the beauty in the tragedy- that we never know where we will find them in the next life. I suppose I went a little off-topic from your question, but I answered it as honestly as possible.
