  1. did you want more info than that or no? if so we will have to get together... I will return tomorrow morning......... 8ish
  2. while I dont quite understand post #35, a pole or cross or stake as I brought out earlier can contradict while still being in harmony. this is the perfect example. so the only way to make accuracy of it is to go the time and meaning of the language of the writer.....
  3. enjoyed your thought on milk, while it has no place in comparison with proving salvation, it in itself is literally true but thats about it. you sound like the first post. you cant prove salvation to a non-believer by telling them your feelings or emotions. a better example would be more like (your post); you wont get far in court telling your story using only words as proof, words mean little and prove nothing. kind of what you said knowledge and only accurate knowledge is where to begin. the bible is the only accurate knowledge and it is a book proven even of non believers to be accurate, plus its a book, not words of feelings....
  4. that post of the trinity an so on wasnt for yourself... but yes, that is what the nwt says... what do you make of it?
  5. this is scripture.... I only speak scripture, nothing else can be more true. one thing to note... all proven and accepted version have been read and mean the same thing, whatever the actual wording, scholars and translators alike, unknowingly have shown these versions share the same interpretation....... what say you?
  6. you believe in trinity? you acknowledge staros but not that Jesus was put to death on it, correct? the holy spirit isnt living in any translation, you mistake even your own translation. god and God are different, thats just common sense, that is in reverance to the fact that there are false gods... nothing more. o and sinse you bring up that subject, what does your bible say Gods name is? that above all else has been proven to be in the dead sea scrolls found by scholars. this evidense proves God has a name and its not Jesus I promise you... His name is all over the original books even before being considered for the cannon, even non-believers as well as scholars have found that Gods name is pronounced "yhwy" or "yawey" sinse there was no consonants used back then this has like many other words been translated, not changing the meaning just how its pronounced. furthermore, if his name isnt in your bible (found several times in the dead sea scrolls), maybe you should find a more accurate one. so... what is then a correct translation?
  7. Jesus was born of the virgin mary and joseph, he died between two unrighteous men, he was resurrected in 3 days, spoke to his desciples given them a commission that is still being carried out today... make desciples of all the nations baptising them in the faith... he today is presently in his second presence reigning as king in heaven awaiting his final coming at armageddon..........
  8. Jesus died on a staros, yes?
  9. you simply need more insight on truth.... here... look more into translation rather than looking at what is translated. it really doesnt matter what words are used as long as they are accurate. to determine this knowledge of all translations considered is vital. what is original, its true interpretation, the language and full understanding of it are required otherwise any translation would be false due to the fact that it uses a word or words that that can either contradict as much as it can possibly agree with as is the case here... so just grasp a little more info on the origin of the languages of the writers and meaning not based on a version of the bible but the original scripture......
  10. first.... Jesus was not put to death on a cross but a torture stake. this is accurate for many reasons, I will choose the translation sinse that is the subject in question. the greek word for staros is torture stake. staros was researched and proven to be accurately so. Jesus nor anyone for that matter could be hung up on a cross, science of the human body proves that as well....
  11. to answer your question, no. I am not. to make a point though, the king james version is without question the most widely accepted of all, the new world translation is the same exact version only changing the older vocabulary to modern english...
  12. only the scripture is truth. it is the only way to prove or diprove faith and anything else according to religion.... 2timothy 3:16.........
  13. consequently then, love God more and keep the kingdom first as Jesus stressed, and "all other things will be added to you". matthew 6:33
  14. it is in several versions... one widely accepted and accurate is new world translation since it is the king james version( proved accurate by scholars the world over) just haven the words modernized into todays english equivalent of the same interpretation according to the writers context of their writing....
  15. why not. john 11:14 Jesus says lazarus has died. he was in his tomb for 4 days now(verse 17). verse21 says Jesus was told if you had been here my brother would not be dead and says so again in verse32. clearly lazarus is dead. in 39 Jesus goes to the tomb and aska the rock to be removed from blocking the entrance, again the statement is made he has been in there for 4 days, Jesus is told surely it must smell in there. 42 Jesus speaks loudly enough for the crowd following him to witness as well he is the one God sent to represent him. 43 he says "lazarus, come out!", 44 Jesus says "loose him and let him go".
  16. there is no need in looking for signs anymore. these are the last days... Gods work of preaching the good news must reach all tribes and tongues and nations first, then daniels prophesy will take place. it is impossible to accurately date set so to speak, but the prophesy is correct ant God promises it will not be late. there will be a king the 8th in johns prophesy to be the last the 7th is already here, daniel has fortold all the kings or leaders in the battle of the north and south, all kings have come and gone except the last king of the south (the USA) and the king of the north(still unknown till God draws him out)... there isnt much of a prophesy left, so all of Jesus' true followers are intent on one thing because they, through God will deliver this news through all the earth, bringing about the tribulation... then armageddon.........
  17. rightly so. sheol and the grave are the same so says Jesus when he said that his friend lazarus his sleep when he was clearly dead. is Jesus wrong?
  18. in exodus 20 yes. in acts 2, no. verse 17 opens saying : I shall pour out my spirit upon every sort of flesh (every tongue)... God explains how he would communicate from then on...
  19. not to confuse you, Jesus's desciples are called his brothers as well. spiritual brothers in the faith that is...
  20. consequently, Jesus states at john 17:3 "this means everlasting life, they are taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ". colossians 1:9-10 speak of accurate knowledge, knowing an estimated 99% of earths population believe in some higher power and most all have some knowledge... the significance being example: math is useless if you are taught 1+1=3 and so on, only being useful if it is accurate... lastly though satan truly doesnt care if you praise or serve God if your service, long as it is flawed due to inaccurate knowledge, he still has his way and Jesus says it means your everlasting life to know the truth in totality... when knowledge then comes your way, do your homework, your life depends on it. Jesus says "the good news must be preached for a witness to all the nations" before the end giving you the opportunity to descover it so that when it reaches you if you reject it rather than get proof of it, God will hold you accountable for your decision, leaving no room to say I didnt know, I had no opportunity to recieve the truth... satan would like nothing less........
  21. salvation begins with knowing the truth... once you know the truth, only then can salvation be explained and therefore proven, it isnt difficult but like love people give the same responses, these responses are failing because they dont prove much. like love knowing what love really is and understanding it rather than just involving feelings or emotions will make it very easy to prove...
  22. it is very important to note through all of this that people being part of taking sides, having their input on government or worldly affairs is nothing new going back even into Jesus' day. there is no account of Jesus or any of his followers taking part in any of the government or affairs of the world. it is made very clear all over the bible that the ruler of the world (including but not limited to governments of the world) is satan so dealing in any of the worlds affairs is a very bad idea...
  23. these people were not all isrealites, God begins to speak to them as recorded at acts 2:17 on throughout the chapter, men who were speaking many tongues in order to communicate his will at that time...
  24. no. God spoke to moses only... aaron wasnt far off but only to moses God spoke. God has communicated verbally to the israelites as a people. God for the most part though speaks to a messenger and from there a group of people recieve the message....
