  1. Guys are you telling me that when three men rape a domestic worker and put a sock in a 5 year old childs mouth to make her suffocate - or when 6 men rape a 6 month old child (true stories) it is the same as me smoking a cigarette or lying to my wife that i have a headache when all i want is a massage. Please give me some practical advise here i am sure i am not the only one wondering about this!
  2. i actually need Him more right now than ever before!!!!!!!
  3. And what about this South African!!!
  4. [secondly, in Mat 6:33, Jesus was addressing the issue of not worrying over daily needs. He was not addressing wealth. He said not to worry about food, clothing and the basic needs, since God already knows about that. He said that if we seek God's kingdom ahead of even the necessities of life, that God will meet the necessities.
  5. Guys i do not want to be misunderstood again i am simply saying that if one is faithful in little things God will bless you with more.Math 25:21 His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!' ALSO WHICH IS VITAL IS SEEK FIRST HIS KINGDOM and then all these things shall be added Mat 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Money is important but more important is our relationship with God. Without money you can not be a blessing in someones life....too often have i seen a person in need and all christians do is pray for them - Acts 7:22 "Moses was educated in all the wisdom of the Egyptians and was powerful in speech and action." there is no action - if we want to truely bless someone in a financial need we need to sow a financial seed. Again do not misunderstand me - prayer is vital - God will use men to bless those unfortunate
  6. Matthew 22: 35 Then one of them, a lawyer, asked, tempting Him and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the Law? 37 Jesus said to him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets. God will provide for you but seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these things shall be added unto you
  7. I mean that the devil also blesses his agents we see this wealth tied up in drug lords, the porn industry etc
  8. Hi everyone just a question - which was the all time most popular thread in terms of posts and views?
  9. Guys scripture clearly tells us that God has plans to prosper us. Now please do not get me wrong prosperity is also blessings, health, a goof family life but it includes money, gold, silver etc. Too many Christians shy away from the subject of money . It is not wrong for men of God to be wealthy Gen 13.2 "Abram had become very wealthy in livestock and in silver and gold" Gen 24:35 "The LORD has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, menservants and maidservants, and camels and donkeys" 1Sam 2:7 "The LORD sends poverty and wealth; he humbles and he exalts" Now even more interesting is the fact the the ability to produce wealth comes from God He gives us the ability Deut 8:18 "But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your forefathers, as it is today" - (i realize that blessings come from the devil but i am talking here in this thread about Men of God - Gods Servants) Now when we view a wealthy christian with great possesions we need not accuse them of robbing the church or doing it in an illegal manner (unless there are facts) but rather ask them their story - so that you will see that their disciplined life , but more importantly their dedication and abiding to the regulations of God as allowed them to live in the lap of luxury
  10. Hi i am in South Africa are they gonna show it here also or maybe at a later date?
  11. i have trembled and cried inexplicably for no natural reason before the Lord.
  12. How clear is it that he was a Christian?
  13. Thanks i am learning and reading with you guys just have not posted just want to say that i have posted before on this thread and have stopped but i am still supporting you guys, God Speed and Blessings to you. You are planting a seed into peoples lives and you will reap the benifit.
  14. There are two typesof light namely that light which God caused on the earth so that life could be sustained Gen 1:16 "God made two great lights
  15. People do not advertise the fact that they are proud of the fact they are committing adultry - they are not proud of their sins, there is no adultry pride walk , no government wants to legalise adultry but there are moves to legalise homosexualty, there are gay pride walks and marches. That is why coventional society frowns upon homosexualty because even though biblically it is incorrect they try to be accepted. Yes we need to love them but No we will not love their sin as they love their sin. Generally they are proud of their sin.
  16. God is good all the time and All the time God is good
  17. Sometimes if we are not mature spiritually (and i am not saying you are) then listening to these types of individuals are disconcerting because our faith is not strong. On the flip side if someone condemns these people it means that they have watched the shows themselves in order to express their oppinion
  18. I think we have become too reliant on technology for example can someone imagine a world without cell phones, microwaves, email / internet - 20 years ago this was unheard off and the world was still rotaing now if the power goes off or the email is down we feel as if we have lost a best friend
  19. well the only "habit" i have is i sleep in my bed...and i watch tv in my lounge is that a "special place" when it comes to dressing there is no special order i follow it depends on how late i am sometimes the one sock goes on then the shirt then i realise i am missing a sock
  20. to answer your question the mention of ghosts was made yes but under different circumstances than what you mean Called GIVING UP THE GHOST (Genesis 25:8;35:29; Lamentations 1:19; Acts 5:10) The disciples, supposing they saw a ghost when Jesus came walking upon the lake (Matthew 14:26; Mark 6:49,50) read the scriptures above. Ghosts are demonic as there should be no communication with the dead 'Do not eat any meat with the blood still in it. " 'Do not practice divination or sorcery" 19:26 - If you mean evil spirits or agents of the devil yes there is mention in the bible of the casting out of demons for example " Jesus Sends Out the Twelve ] He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness" Mat 10:1 so we have power over these evil spirits and should never be afraid of them.
  21. You bring up some points here that i agree with and some that are not scripture based for example the trinity - "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" the name here is the Father , Son and Holy spirit - you say the name is Jesus but why would Mathew bring these three Facets of the Father if they did not exist he would have said baptise them in the name of Jesus , instead of bringing up the three facets of the one God. Water baptism is vital "[ The Baptism and Temptation of Jesus ] At that time Jesus came from Nazareth in Galilee and was baptized by John in the Jordan." - Mark 1:9 - Jesus himself was baptised -" I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you"John 13:15 - Jesus is our ultimate example so we should be baptised as He was it is a symbolic washing away of the "old" man and becoming a new creation in God - John 3:3-7 - "5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God." that should settle it guys we have to be born of water also. You also mention speaking in tongues "Therefore, my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues:1 Cor 14:39 - Yes this is a gift and it is a gift for the current generation also we should not forbid this but welcome this as a sign of the prescence of the Holy Spirit - we should ask the Holy Spirit to guide us and be able to discern the fake from the truth.
