Now I didn't hear anything about the floodin and all but I'm not in that vicinity. However Our area was declared a state of emergency in Oct. when we had a horrible snow storm that hit us in Upstate NY, and I was very glad they declared it cause there was much disaster left by the storm it took out nearly 60% of the trees in one county alone not to mention the hundreds of thousands that were left without power. We in Upstate New York are very appreciative of all those that traveled from far away states to help us remove the debree. Despite the intense emotions that people were going through I was so happy to see neighbor after neighbor checking up on one another most of whom had never spoken before. I would rather see our public officials act too early than too late! I also would still hold them accountable if they misrepresent the funds needed. God Bless!

I stood in the cold with my oldest as she waited for her bus. I froze walking my youngest to school on the way we played guess what animal left those prints in the snow. Once home I did the dishes and then recieved a phone call from my sister we are trying to find an appropriate gift to get our dad whom lives far away. Kinda too quiet here while the trolls are away and the hubby won't be getting up for another hour. Well that's my mornin in a nut shell lol, praying chat opens up very soon before withdrawal kicks in. Northernlass awesome gettin your kitty to eat I pray he'll keep it up and his health will improve. Why so blind will keep you in my prayers in hopes you get the job. Sierra your way ahead of me I haven't even started the Christmas shopping yet I'm still in the thinking stage lol. Biblicist umm will you make enough fresh bread for us all? Just the thought of it is making me hungry, so great that your daughter was able to show you how to knit it can be a great stress reliever I'm very big on knitting and cross stitching. God Bless!

Since I come from a large family we of course had many pets mostly cats and dogs. All of the cats were indoor and outdoor cats but one of the cats became fond of our neighbors so we saw very little of her. Soon after my grandfather was informed that he had Lung cancer we were shocked to walk in my grandfather's room to find her snuggling next to him. Since he was approaching his 90's he did not seek treat- ment and instead chose to die at home surrounded by his loved ones. It took less than a year for the cancer to take his life, and in that year she (the cat) never left his bedside except to eat and use the litter box. As my grandmother sat with him as he took his last breath so also had the cat taken it's last breath. I definately agree the Lord uses animals! God Bless!

Since I saw the preview of that little penguin I have had my heart set on seeing the movie as have my trolls. I agree if the movie is as bad as this thread says it is then yes I wouldn't put it past them to purposely have left many parts out of the advertisement! Thx all this saves me the cost of tickets! I won't give you flak because in part I agree. I don't wish to be too overprotective of my trolls but there are boundaries in which I will not allow society to corrupt them either. It is our duty to have our children prepared for society the good and the bad has to be addressed before they are tossed into the world to fend for themselves, and that is one duty as a parent I take seriously "educating" my trolls! Since Broke Back Mountain was a flop to it's targeted audience I guess they have decided to use "Happy Feet" to achieve their goal. God Bless!
