  1. Don't get me started on Iran, but I have to pull you up on that point ... most external fighters in Iraq are from Saudi Arabia, with the majority of arms from Saudi and Syria. It doesn't matter where the people come from, they are useless without weapons and funding, which is provided by Iran. Iran can only benefit from a weak Iraq, a weak neighbor is easier to conquer, they have their eyes set on Saudi Arabian and Israel. The wealth oil from Saudi Arabia will fund their coalition against Israel. They want israel out, that's for sure. Do they want to conquer iraq? I don't think so, they're just hoping for a shia majority rule in that country, hoping it will one day be a fundamentalist islamic state. that's there dream.

  4. the student in the story, I mean
  5. My point is that the whole "fight them there so we don't have to fight them here" notion is a falsehood you don't combat terrorism by creating more piles of wood, in doing so, you only create more of them. Nice analogy, but terrorists aren't termites. There terrorists. You can't negotiate with terrorists, you can only kill them.
  6. This topic's wandered a bit and needs bringing back to what its about. Bush has his faults, but we all do. Could you run the most powerful nation on earth and take care of the problems in Africa, the Middle East, the far east, south america.. I mean, you'd make mistakes too if it was left to you to try and improve the lives of everyone in the world. The guy is like a kind of superman to me. the fact hes done all this in the face of so much bush bashing and the liberal media bashing him relentlessly... he is a credit to our nation and he is an honourable man. God bless bush indeed. Just my two cents.
  7. We don't do nearly ENOUGH profiling. I just don't understand why there isn't profiling at airports. OK, so a few people will be put out and delayed a few minutes. Boo hoo. Well guess what, it's our best chance at stopping another 9-11. Grow up, cry babies.
