  1. Unfortunately, there is little psychological evidence to support this. Dreams do not seem to follow any set pattern. There are ways to increase the likelihood of dreaming about a particular thing, but it is not a guaranteed thing. You can be occupied with finances and you might dream of tires at night. Regarding the actual discussion: Keep trying, keep praying, and remember: It's OK to make mistakes. It's when you start doing it on purpose that you've really done something wrong. We're not even the ones to seek help from. All of us have some sort of problem that we don't have under control. Keep asking the One with no problems and you'll eventually get your answer. Just live like spiritual shampoo directions: Lather, Rinse, Repent. POPS
  2. I fail to see how Christianity and environmentalism are mutually exclusive. If anything, the two belong hand-in-hand, working in unison. We are stewards of this planet and, as such, it is our responsibility to see that it's resources are used wisely and to ensure that it is in good condition. Further, I fail to see how humans can exempt themselves from the possibility that they may have caused a global change. We acknowledge that we pump billions upon billions of cubic tons of CO2 into the atmosphere each year and yet we refuse to think that it may cause some harm to the environment. Let's think about this rationally: billions upon billions of gallons of water would cause unimaginable damage. Billions upon billions of mice would also cause unimaginable damage. Billions upon billions of hail stones would cause unimaginable damage. Billions upon billions of hurricanes would cause unimaginable damage. . . . . . How then can it be possible that billions upon billions of cubic tons of carbon dioxide would have no effect on the environment whatsoever, given that we know it acts as an insulant?

  5. Fixing the printer would require some more details about your printer, computer, and how it's hooked up to your computer for me to help, but I can probably help you with the computer being slow... First thing we need to do: Defrag your computer. This will take a while if your computer is already slow, so don't expect speedy results. Let it run until it finishes, it may take several hours and don't try to do anything else while the computer is defragging. Why Defrag your computer? When you delete files and add files to the hard drive, it causes the files to become "fragmented." A good way to explain this is to take all the folded clothes in your dresser, throw them randomly all over the room, and then go try to pick up all the underwear as fast as you can. Your computer has the same problem with fragments: It takes a while to collect all the information from fragmented files. HOW TO DEFRAG YOUR COMPUTER: Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter, select the C drive (if you have more than one drive listed) then click DEFRAGMENT at the bottom of the page. Next, you need to scan your computer for malicious software (viruses, spyware, and adware). To do that, you need to download two programs from Microsoft. First, the Malicious Software Removal Tool from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en just click the link and "download." The download should start automatically, but if it doesn't, follow the onscreen instruction for how to remedy this problem. Download, install, and run this program once. Next, you need to download Windows Defender, also from Microsoft: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=en. Click "continue" in the yellow banner near the middle of your screen, then follow the onscreen instructions. Once you have installed this program, you need to run it once. Open the program and click the upside down triangle next to the word "scan" at the top of the window. Click "Full Scan." This will take a while to run, so be patient. Do not use the computer during this scan, it will help the scan to run more quickly. Expect the scan to take atleast one hour. Finally, it is advisable that you download the program CCleaner from this link (no window will displayed, I'm linking you straight to the download from the website "FileHippo"): http://www.filehippo.com/download/file/fa6...9e83824bd13ff1/ Once this program has been downloaded, install it. After installing, open the program. Now, On the left side of the screen, there are several "block tabs." Make sure you are in the one labeled "CCleaner" (it will be indented). Now, click "Run Cleaner" at the bottom right side. This may take a while, so be patient. Do not use your computer while this action is being performed. Next, click the block tab labeled "Issues." Make sure all of the boxes under "Registery Integrity" and "File Integrity" are checked. Click "Scan for Issues" at the bottom of the page. When the scan finishes, click "Fix Selected Issues." Follow the warning boxes... you want to fix ALL the problems, so make sure you click that button. You do not need to back up the changes to your registry. If you have any further problems, please create another thread. Be sure to give details.
  6. Deciding between hybrid and non-hybrid is mostly a personal preference. Hybrids cost more money, but they are better for the environment and they do get much better gas mileage. Although I strongly support purchasing American made vehicles, the foreign car market has done far more with the Hybrid engine and has made it much cheaper, dependable, and efficient than American car manufacturers have done thus far (please, feel free to compare from the dealership, though). I recommend looking at the best rated hybrids for 2006 through the following link: BEST RATED 2006 HYBRIDS IN CLASS. As far as engine power is concerned, unless your mom is planning to drag race her car, I wouldn't worry about it. These new hybrids are putting out plenty of power on demand, which should meet most of your mom's needs.
