I did not hear of john edwards having a muslim background. I know that Barak Obama's middle name is Hussein, and his father and stepfather are radical muslims. Not good, in my opinion. I hear that he has now joned a Christian chuch to be politically correct. I don't know if that was his reason. utopia

How do yu feel about suicide/losing one's salvation? My thinking is that it is not the unpardonable sin and that regardless of how people die, thee is only one question that needs to be asked: Were they a Christian - if so, go to hHeaven; lose out on the rewards they could have obtained had they stayed alive until God called them Home. Some think it is the unpardonable sin, but I have been taught that the only unforgiveable sin is rejecting Christ as Savior, blasheming the Holy Spirit by rejecting the plan of salvation. ???

In my opinion, you should continue to take them to church - before they get old enough to say "I don't need church". My in-laws took our 4 yr old son to church and God used that to speak to me about my own responsibility to take him myself. After a while, my husband joined us in church! We are retired from work but not from the Lord and still go to church regularly, and our son and his wife minister in their church. Teach a child while he is young.....
