  1. I think your misunderstanding my comment on it being "normal" and as you said I am not too far away from your daughters age.. i am only 22 yrs old myself.. so if things have progressively worsened as i expect they have.. this is a normal everyday occurence in teenagers... Now answer me this.. have you ever looked at another woman and thought she was attractive? not sexually just admirably? does htat make you gay? these are the questions young teens deal with... the only difference between now and when you were a teen is now it is trendy and accepted which in turn encourages kids to consider it even further... 20 yrs ago just considering would of got you beat up... now if you try to tell someone they are outside of God by being homosexual the world will condemn you... i mean we have churches now that are openly allowing homosexual pastors... what does that say to the unsaved? well if he can be a man of God and preach the word... then i guess it must be ok to be gay... so now with htis mindset things have changed alot in the last 20yrs and yes this country is going down hill fast.. but in today's day and age it is normal(or Common if you like that term better) for a teenager to question there sexuality.. exspecially in the pubescent years... there are alot of new feelings there that one does not know how to deal with... ok sorry i went off on a rant there but juts my 2cents... guess we need to further define normal eh?
  2. I must say growing up i was in a church like the ones you are describing above..( i wont mention denomintation as to insult anybody) but i have been fortunate in recent growth as a Christian to have found a church that accepts everyone and anyone that walks through its doors the same as the members who have been there for 20+ yrs... Yes its nice to dress in you best outfit for church and get all prettied up so you can go compare close with everyone right? lol really tho i dont believe God cares wht we are wearing when we come to his house for worship.. most of the time a attend in semi casual clothing... I feel he would much rather have us confortable and paying attention to the word then itching our necks all through service cause of hte dang collar on the dress shirt we wore... just my 2 cents
  3. :waves: Thanks for hte great welcome it is great to be here in the presence of God's Servants
  4. Well it is perfectly natural for a teenage child to question there sexuallity, it is also prefectly normal for her at this age to rebel against you and "your Religion". Odds are she will outgrow this phase as do all children.. the sad truth is that you can only do so much... you can only continue to support her in her faith and remind her those things are not of God... Fortunately God is the great mediator... So the best thing for you to do is continue to pray for her and get as many others involve in the prayer as you can... Personally you just gained one more in myself... My Prayers are with you and your family.. God Bless, Dave
  5. Actually the y2k thing was a joke.. im a computer technician and have been for about 6 yrs now... i need to add my story to the devotional but long story short im an ex-drug addict who'm christ pulled from the trash brushed the dirt off of and said walk with me... Praise the Lord no matter how lost we are he is always there to lead in the right direction... Which is why one of my favorite poems is the "FootPrints" it reminds me of my life b4 salvation...
  6. We are a sinners and have all come short of hte glory of God... Even after accepting Christ as our Saviour we still are human and have that sinful nature... No matter how hard we try that sinful nature is still there... Although one day we will be sinless but that day will be when we stand in the presence of hte lord..
