Surprise Ingredients in Fast Food Surprise Ingredients in Fast Food (NewsTarget) The movie Supersize Me has probably had more of an effect than the producers anticipated. Since then, in the fast food industry, there has been a market trend promoting menu items that appear to be healthy. But most of these menu items have ingredients that health conscious consumers would prefer to avoid. Most health conscious consumers consider healthy foods to be things like raw fruits and vegetables, whole grains, raw nuts and seeds, and clean meats like wild Alaskan salmon, or free-range chicken or turkey. Some ingredients that health conscious consumers consider unacceptable are MSG (or free glutamate, or free glutamic acid, including anything hydrolyzed or autolyzed), trans fats (hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils [3]), artificial colors, artificial flavors, and most preservatives. Many so-called healthy fast food menu items, upon closer inspection, do not live up to the health hype. Most of the meat from any of the major chains has anything but a simple ingredients list. They add emulsifiers, preservatives, MSG, artificial colors, trans fats, and hidden ingredients under generic labels such as spices, or natural and artificial flavors. Some of these food additives are not foods at all, but are chemicals that are generally recognized as safe. Most of these additives cannot be found at your local grocery store, probably because they aren

DOG the Bounty Hunter on FOX News

Hey! "Dog" the Bounty Hunter... One -on- One interview with Sean Hannity on FOX news tonight. Anyone see it? -
Amen I don't know if I can put this into word or not, and I can already tell I need to study in God's word more about this, but I have always thought we were all (meaning Gentiles) accepted into the promises that were originally for the Isrealites. That Christ opened the plan to all, not just the chosen people. That, in essense, we are all now the children of Isreal. It was all, of course, part of God's plan all along - and we can see that it was God's plan throughout Biblical history. Christ is descended from Abraham, Issac.... etc. direct lineage from the Isrealites, and he gave us all what was originally promised to them - that we are all heirs of his promises. We are all interconnected. I don't know if I'm expressing this well or not (so I'm guessing NOT lol). Shalom Anne, YES. You expressed that very well. Gentiles are not literal Israel, but JOINED with Israel, literal, physical and fellow heirs to the promises of Israel. We, (the church) are adopted into G-d's family, previously reserved only for the Jews. This is GOOD news and in this we should rejoice! The Bible says that in Yeshua there is now no difference between Jew and Gentile, we are all ONE in Messiah. So, yes, the Sabbath is a gift to G-d's people, Jew and Gentile. For those that wish to receive it.
-
Shalom Cobalt, Hey, that's fine, I simply can't agree with you either! I still love you in Yeshua! And yes, it is EXACTLY how I believe and I believe the Scriptures support that. But, you know, it's not a matter of salvation, so we each have to seek the L-rd for what we should do.
-
Shalom Blaze, Hey, no worries! We're all family here! I hope you enjoy Worthy.
-
Shalom, And, as Believers in Messiah, the Gentiles are now JOINED with Israel. Some Christians try to deny that, but it's Scriptural: Galatians 3: 29And if you are Christ

Shalom, You are a Newbie here and you just need time to get to know "us folks" before you criticize us. By the way: Proverbs 27 17Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.
-
Shalom Brother, I see you are new to Worthy. Hey, have you read the Guidelines or the vision for this board? By the way, in case you aren't aware (in all sincerity, not sarcastic), this is a DISCUSSION board. It is also a ministry. And "us folks" learn and grow and help people and strive to live and love as Yeshua taught us. Jes' hang around some and relax and have a good time!

Shalom, This thread is a year old, how's come it's active again??? The OP isn't even here anymore I believe.

Shalom Anne, Lovely post!! The bottom line is that you, as a Believer in Yeshua Jesus, have the FREEDOM and HONOR to celebrate and observe the Sabbath because it is G-d's institution. It is not a requirement, but it is G-d's Word. And "let no one judge you" means that according to Scriptures, NO ONE has the right to tell you that observing the Sabbath as unto the L-rd is wrong or criticize why or how you observe the Sabbath for you are doing it to G-d, not man. No one has the right to judge you! Enjoy your freedom and enjoy the Sabbath if you desire to observe it in Yeshua, it is a wonderful experience and it is very freeing and can be so meaningful in our relationship with our King!

Shalom, This Scripturally refutes the arguments posted here. It is an excellent article. http://www.hebrew4christians.com/Scripture...fourth_cmd.html

Shalom Arthur, Not at all. The 7th day Sabbath was never rescinded. No place in Scripture, ever. And, let us read Colossians 2:14 together, shall we? Only, let's go back to the beginning of the verse which explains that it was not the Sabbath that was nailed to the Cross, but our SINS. Our trespasses, our debt under the Law. This is what the Bible says. 13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross. If we're going to discuss this rationally and maturely, we must use Scripture correctly, not take Scripture out of context to try to make it support opinion. The verse does not say anyplace that the Sabbath was nailed to the Cross! Yeshua observed the Sabbath, as did the disciples. He nailed our debt to the Cross, caused by our sin. That's what it says. The Sabbath of G-d has never been "nailed to the Cross", that is an incorrect statement. You see, G-d INSTITUTED the Sabbath at Creation and called the day "holy." He has never changed that, anyplace in Scripture. You see, G-d and G-d alone blessed the 7th day and made it holy. That is not a Jewish thing or a Law thing, but a G-d-thing. And, He never changed it. Ummm, where do you see me "imploring" ANYONE to observe the Sabbath? Please, find one post where I have done this. Well, since the Sabbath was not what was nailed to the Cross, this query is moot. Yes, I agree. The "curve" is man's attempt to have their own way instead of G-d's. The "church" has tried to ignore Scripture and G-d's institution of the Sabbath. I have no desire to follow man, but I choose to follow G-d. I'll stay far behind the "church" curve any day and choose G-d's ways. First off, Jehovah is not a correct name, it is a mistranslation. Read for yourself:

Shalom Dennis, EXCELLENT POST! Amen!!

Shalom BlazeEagle, You are welcome and blessings back to you!

Shalom Smalcald, My name is Vickilynn. If you're going to shorten it, please called me "VL." I have nothing else to say to you on this matter. I am deeply saddened at the way you twist the truth and attempt to twist my words. Anyone who has read my posts can see plainly that what you are saying is not at all true. So, I'll leave it in the hands of the L-rd. Bottom line here Brother, I observe the Sabbath AS UNTO THE L-RD, and not "unto Smalcald." If you have a problem with why and how I celebrate the Sabbath "AS UNTO THE L-RD," then I guess it's your problem. It really does not affect my walk with the L-rd except if you came to my home and were offended, rather than cause you to stumble, I would not observe the Sabbath in your presence. Other than that, you think you have the right to judge someone else's observance UNTO THE L-RD and you are very mistaken. Also, I have not ever gone "ballistic." You'll know it when it happens and it ain't happened yet. I'm sorry, but you are mistaken. I'll leave you with Romans 14. I encourage you to really read about judging someone else for their observance of the day AS UNTO THE L-RD. Perhaps it will help you in the future. Shalom to you.
-
Shalom Blaze, Welcome to Worthy!!! The reason I write G-d is because: #1. It is a way that I reverence the name of G-d. #2. It is a way not to offend the unsaved Jewish people that I witness to. My name is Vickilynn by the way. I hope you enjoy being on Worthy.
-
Shalom Smalcald, That is not quite true Brother. You have criticized in EVERY one of your posts and you do so now. Shall I show you? Perhaps you truly don't see your sin. Again, not true. You have likened me to a thief for not observing the Sabbath in the way that YOU say I should. Smalcald, you are just unbelievable. If I am anything, it is consistent. I have said the SAME thing over and over and over and yet you refuse to read it. If you want to learn where you are incorrect, please read my posts. I said I wasn't posting any more to you, and this one will be my last because you say the same things regardless of being shown that you are incorrect about them. Here's some from THIS post, and it is the same rhetoric from all your posts: No. It is NOT a matter of Law. How many times must we go over this. You are making this a Law issue, when it is not. I do not "keep the Law" and I am tired of having to defend myself against this tired argument that is false. Again, this is critical and judgmental and most of all, WRONG. With all due respect Brother, you are out of line to even say that. YOU are fine with deciding how I should give glory to MY L-rd? Why do you elevate yourself to such a position when Paul rebukes that attitude and commands against it? Romans 14. This is something you should pray about, that you think you have the right to criticize another Christian's observance AS UNTO THE L-RD. You do not have that right Brother. Whether I observe the Sabbath or not is simply not your place according to the Scriptures. When you comment on it, you are overstepping according to Paul. Again, this argument is so ridiculous and not even relevant! Do you pattern your life after what Orthodox Jews do? If so, that is your choice, but *I* live my life by the Scriptures. You keep throwing "Orthodox Jews" around to support your criticism of Believers observing Sabbath. Can you show me in the Scriptures where I am to make my decisions concerning G-d by imitating Orthodox Jews? This is so off the wall, it's not even funny. If you truly believe this has any bearing on the life of a Christian, then dear Brother, I fear for you. And, since I have said the same answers over and over and over and over, and you have completely ignored them, we have nothing else to discuss on this issue, except that I encourage you to really see where you are wrong for insisting that Christians follow the rules of men instead of G-d and thinking you have the right to criticize another Believer's worship of G-d. I leave you with that.

Shalom, Observation. The problem with this topic is that it strays from being a discussion of differing views to one of Christians telling other Christians they are WRONG or "not doing it correctly" by observing and celebrating the Sabbath. With all due respect to my Brothers and Sisters in Yeshua, if YOU have a problem with ME observing the Sabbath AS UNTO THE L-RD, you are outta line. With all due respect, your "opinion" of whether I am right or wrong in this action has no bearing on how I should worship the L-rd, for you see, the Scriptures say, it is not your place to decide. It is G-d's place and you are not in a position to be telling another Christian that they are wrong, or legalistic, or under the Law or in bondage or any other such nonsense. That, dear family in Messiah, IS wrongly judging and it is forbidden in the Scriptures. It is between the worshiper and G-d and you are not invited! If you are not led to observe the Sabbath, that is your choice, however, for you to criticize another Believer for observing the Sabbath AS UNTO THE L-RD, is sin. Romans 14 6The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. 10 Why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or you, why do you despise your brother? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God; 13 Therefore let us not pass judgment on one another any longer, but rather decide never to put a stumbling block or hindrance in the way of a brother Hebrews 4: 9So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, 10 for whoever has entered God

Shalom, An excerpt from an article by John J. Parsons: So why observe Shabbat? So why bother with Shabbat? Why should we learn about this special day that the LORD appointed for His people through the Torah of Moses? Let me give a few reasons: 1. Shabbat remembers God as our Creator (Gen 2:2). 2. Shabbat is one of the first things God blessed (Gen 2:3). 3. Shabbat remembers the Exodus from Egypt (i.e., God

And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. Numbers 6:24-27 Love, Your Brother Joe Shalom Joe, Ahhhh, your wisdom and gentleness again blesses my heart. You know you have spoken the truth Dear Brother, yet some in the church refuse to hear because it goes against man's tradition. Keep on speaking the truth for Yeshua! Love in our Messiah, Vickilynn

Shalom Anne, YOU hit it! Ding, ding, ding!! Thank you Sister! I am rejoicing that someone here "gets it", that is, gets the truth from Scripture that we have the FREEDOM to worship G-d in the Sabbath, that we do these things "as unto the L-rd" (and not by the requirements of men) and we should not have to endure the criticism and judgment from our own Brothers and Sisters in the L-rd! Thank you Anne, you have renewed my hope in "Christians." This needs to be said again to those who say it is WRONG to follow G-d's Word and observe the 7th day Sabbath: Romans 14 5 One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. 6The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. 8For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord

Shalom, It's pretty easy for me to know who is "convicting" me, there is a big difference between Satan and the Holy Spirit. I encourage people to take what you are hearing to the Word of G-d and see what lines up. Listen to the Holy Spirit and rebuke the enemy. Resist him and he will flee. Holy Spirit conviction brings about repentance and change. The devil's condemnation brings about hurt feelings and guilt. Guilt is never of G-d. Repentance is.

Shalom Smalcald and Arthur, You both will simply think what you want and this is fine. I thought at one point this was a DISCUSSION, but now I see it is not. So, whatever you think about my walk is between you and G-d. I am not bothered one bit that you think I am wrong, since The Scriptures give me the FREEDOM in Yeshua to do this as unto Him, regardless of your critical judgement and false accusations. This is my last post and one that prayerfully will sink in. But if not, so be it. It's between you and G-d.
-
Shalom Smalcald and Arthur, You can post all day long about the Law and you are missing the whole spirit of the Sabbath and that is a shame. I have tried to share the truth, but you both are not interested in anything other than criticizing G-d's people and that is a sin. But you know, this is a tired old argument and it really boils down to you two need to stop judging G-d's people in their walk. Romans 14. No one is saying here that you SHOULD keep the Sabbath, but you both have the chutzpah to judge those who do observe the day as unto the L-rd. Shame on you!! Read Romans 14.
