  1. A different look at Psalm 23 This an eye opener; probably we never thought nor looked at this Psalm in this way, even though we say it over and over again. "The Lord is my Shepherd" This's relationship! "I shall not want" This's supply! "He maketh me to lie down in green pastures" That's rest! "He leadeth me beside the still waters" That's refreshment! "He restoreth my soul" That's healing! "He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness" That's guidance! "For His name sake" That's purpose! "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death" That's testing! "I will fear no evil" That's protection! "For Thou art with me" That's faithfulness! "Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me" That's discipline! "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies" That's hope! "Thou annointest my head with oil" That's consecration! "My cup runneth over" That's abundance! "Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life" That's blessing! "And I will dwell in the hourse of the Lord" That's security! "Forever" That's eternity! What is most valuable is not what we have in our lives, but WHO we have in our lives!
  2. Do anyone here know the song sing by "Vineyard Music", I don't know the song name, and I want to download it, once I listened I do feel great, I probablly remember the lyrics, something like "this day, you have chosen me, to walk in cycle last, to tell them all the love that set them free, This day, I am in your hand, forever I will be, walking endless love that set me free. This is the day that I have chosen to live for you in every moment to give my life as a living sacrifice, This day all is made complete, through your circle ring, benining with your love that set such free, this day , you have chosen me to walk in cycle lost to tell them all the love that set them free." I'd appreciate for someone tell me what's the song exact and tell me where can I download it. Thank you! Hillson
  3. "Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ ." Romans 10:17 When people struggle with their faith in God, it's not because their faith-object is insufficient. It's because people have unreal expectations of God. They expect Him to operate a certain way or answer prayer a certain way--their way, not His--and when He doesn't comply they say, "Forget You, God." But God doesn't change; He's the perfect faith-object. Faith in God only fails when people hold a faulty understanding of Him. If you want your faith in God to increase, you must increase your understanding of Him as the object of your faith. If you have little knowledge about God and His Word, you will have little faith. If you have great knowledge of God and His Word, you will have great faith. Faith cannot be pumped up by coaxing yourself, "If only I can believe! If only I can believe!" Any attempt to push yourself beyond what you know about God and his ways is to move from faith to presumption. You choose to believe God according to what you already know to be true from His Word. And the only way to increase your faith is to increase your knowledge of God, your faith-object (Romans 10:17). "Well," you may say, "that means there's a limit to our faith." Yes, there's a limit. But God isn't controlling it; you are. As the object of your faith, He is infinite. The only limit to your faith is your knowledge and understanding of God, which grows every time you read your Bible, memorize a new Scripture verse, participate in a Bible study, or meditate on a scriptural truth. Can you see the practical, tangible potential for your faith to grow as you endeavor to know God through His Word? It's boundless! Furthermore, it is important to know that God is under no obligation to us. There is no way you can cleverly word a prayer so that God must act on your behalf. If God declares something to be true, you simply believe Him and live according to what is true. If God didn't say it, no amount of faith in the world will make it so. Believing doesn't make God's Word true; His Word is true, therefore I believe it.
  4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. PSALM 23:4 As a child of God you are never alone! Your Shepherd is with you at all times. You never have to call Him into your situation. You never have to wonder where He is. You never have to fear that if things become too difficult, He will never abandon you. He goes before you; He walks beside you; He comes behind you. He protects you securely. Just as He sees every sparrow and knows every hair that is on your head, so His gaze is constantly upon you (Luke 12:6-7). Even when you cannot see Him, He always keeps His eyes upon you. He comforts you with His strong presence in times of sorrow and grief. He leads you through the valleyof the shadow of death. He does not necessarily lead you around the valley as you might wish. There are times when your Shepherd knows that the only way to get you where He wants to take you is to lead you down the path that passes through the dark valley. Yet, at those times He walks closely with you, reassuring you throughout the journey that He still loves you and is with you. It is during those times that you experience His love and compassion in a deeper dimension than you ever have before. You never need to fear evil. As intimidating as evil can be, there is nothing you will ever face that intimidates your Shepherd. He has seen it all and soundly defeated every form of wickedness. Evil never catches Him by surprise. Your Shepherd is always prepared and knows exactly when and where you will experience difficulty. Place your absolute trust in your Good Shepherd that He will protect you and demonstrate His love for you through the darkest valley.

  8. Hello refugepsa91 and yours lovely son Nicholas! In China, we studied English since we were 10 years old, but the English education is very stupid here, they only insisted in grammar, seldom practice oral english and listening. What a strange story I can tell, usually we give our grammar exercises to some American people, they don't know how to do it. Anyway my grammar is worse in Chinese people. Mostly young people can speak English, some very excellent. Yes, usually south of chinese people take off the shoes before entering in home, but China is a big country which meant had a long history, there are many different cultures and customs, even me I don't know much about that. I am still learning...

  14. I have been talking this topic with some missionaries in our church, somethings I would be sure that the "King James version" is much better than others like "NIV", "NKV". But I do believe that if you pray to God to give us wisdom we can still understand God's words exactly. God has his own way for everyone whom really want to follow Him, even the little children can read the bible, I think none of all here will make doubt to Our Lord, isn't it?
