  1. I too feel that sense of something coming that some of you have been speaking of. I would love to believe it is Jesus's return for the church, but of course, I don't know. But as you said Two Lamps: ...I feel that same almost tangible feeling as well. Something is about to happen. It's exciting...And yet not all Christians feel it, I don't think. Perhaps those with the gift of prophecy are the ones feeling it and are expected to share it with others...???? Tonight I was out with a group of people from my church doing outreach on the UT campus. So many lost souls. It is almost unbelievable sometimes to see their reactions to your message, or to hear their response. But when you step back and look at it from the perspective of Jesus's soon return, you have to feel such...overwhelming sorrow for them! They have such a strong delusion!!! ??? :butbut:
  2. The Tribulation will not begin until Israel signs the treaty with the Antichrist...
  3. NO, this has to do with the fact that CNN has and always will be biased in their reporting. Period. They are humanist, environmentalist, animal-rights-before-human-rights people, and they cannot seem to keep themselves unbiased on ANY issue. The fact that Ted Turner cannot seem to be polite with his comments in public is just icing on the cake... :sarcasm:
  4. I think perhaps it is because those people who are born during that time period will be born into goodness. God gives them, the last of His humans born on the earth the option and choice to live with or without Him and they will have free will to choose...
  5. Yes! They should end it. There are articles coming up that talking about how it would make a statement to CNN--in their pocketbook, if you know what I mean... Plus, they have already signed agreement with Fox, who is far more an unbiased news station. I say go with Fox!! :thumb:
  6. This may sound crazy, but if any of you haven't tried the sandwiches at Fazoli's you are in for a treat! I recommend them! They are delicious!!! (yummmmmm...that makes me so hungry just thinking about it!!! )
  7. Very, very good information!! Thanks so much for sharing that!!!
  8. Teri Mc--I was wondering what the name of your book was??? :???:
  9. That's great to hear! I will pray for you...My husband and I too are looking into loans right now to buy a Christian bookstore. We are trying to step carefully because we want to be certain it is His will. God's blessings to you!!!! I pray that the Lord will bless the work of your hands... :inlove:
  10. Out of curiousity, could somebody explain the above statement to me? I don't understand it... :???:
  11. Actually, yes I have! I have thought about casualy aquantinces, Christian musical groups, etc, all of whom I either don't know at all, or do not know well, but will know in Heaven! I also like to imagine meeting the disciples and hearing their stories... Do you think we will all automatically recognize each other, like I have heard suggested by others before, or do you think we will have to introduce each other, for lack of a better term!! LOL!
  12. rollinTHUNDER--I really appreciated your post! Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. I have to say that I truly believe the Spirit shared something with you; it really makes sense. I also wanted to speak specifically on the verse "there will be wars and rumors of wars...". I have had an experience with that comment as well. I was reading an article related to terrorism that my brother-in-law sent me. It was speaking of the issue after 9/11 when several people of Middle-Eastern nationality purchased a large bulk of candy right before Halloween, and were being investigated (they were found innocent). I suddenly noticed the title of the email: "Wars and Rumors of War." It had nothing to do with the body of the article, per se. But I felt God speak to me as well, that these "rumors of war" refers to terrorism...one of the passages of scripture to which I had previously been uncertain as to whether it had been fulfilled or not because I didn't understand what God was referring to. As they say in Calvary Chapel, a mystery is only that which God has not yet chosen to reveal the answer...I felt the light come on. I really have no doubt that, should Jesus delay his coming for a few more years, that the time period we have been living in will be called the "Age of Terrorism" in our history books. Nothing will ever be the same again... And I also feel you are right on with one more point: this will be the last war America will fight...but we won't finish it. :butbut:
  13. If I may jump in, I just wanted to say that I also had noticed that nobody is really posting on this topic anymore. You would think that Isreal was never in the news at all looking at this location on the boards!! :butbut: When the truth is that you cannot pick up a newspaper or turn on the news without hearing about Isreal... I think many people who know, just sort of feel helpless to do anything and those who don't...well, they are somewhat blinded because they do not have the Holy Spirit living in them helping them simply notice some of this stuff. But those who know, see things happening all around them! It almost feels like an onslaught of indicators that Jesus's coming will be soon (and by soon, I feel he will return within my lifetime--not necessarily tomorrow! )
  14. Yes, Lord Maitreya is a creepy one, isn't he?? He truly believes he is Christ, and the answer to all other religions as well: Buddishm, Hinduism, etc. He is living in...Britian, I think???
