  1. dear one, salvation is a free gift,,,not earned or deserved.... i feel the movie you watched just brough up your fears.... sometimes we just have to "by faith" accept our salvation. as human being we will always have doubts ect..that will go against true faith.... just try to not grab onto the thoughts that cause confusion and fear...... and there is no way we could ever be "good enough" for god or to go to heaven... just continue to be repentant when you need to.. the bible says,,,,"if we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.. find a bible translation you can read and start reading the new testament and as god to teach you HIS truths.. and if you are not already,, find a church body and start going and siting under the preaching of the word.. rainie
  2. i don't know what i'd ask him,,,so i'm going to mul that around in my head.. i used to think i knew ALL the questions i'd ask jesus.. but after losing both my sons,,one to a motorcycle accident and most recent the other to suicide,, and working thru the horrendous greif,,,,,,,up to now... and haveing to come to grips with the fact that god is NOT the author of evil or death.. and to forgive god the things i blamed him for after their deaths.. i don't reallly have any unanswered questions i want to ask him ... but i will think on this and tell you if i feel like it.. the reason god chose you for salvation dear one..is becasue he loves you and knew without his death on the cross no one could have eternal life...and he wants us in heaven with him... rainie
  3. i honestly don't get why a lot of the posts here are here. i thought this was a place to help one make it thru this life on this earth.. rainie
  4. why do you want to know?? what do you think? if you told me what you thought i'd be more likely to respond.... are you really seeking the truth or just trying to stir up people??? rainie
  5. why do you want to know what i would ask??? what about you telling us your question. rainie
  6. dear one, of course there is truth to what you said here.. but what many fail to factor in is that these human bodies are falable and sometimes emotional issues are just that emotional issues with no "demons" behind it.. i, as a born again chrsitian am so so thankful for the medicine that helps depression ect.. to help balance out chemical imbalances... why is it that there is so little of what i call "practical christianity?" for that was jesus' way,,,,,,, a way we could follow and live by.... and me being one of the wounded healers,,,,,,could not be a chrstian if i had to measure up to ones who have no clue what the wounded and broken hearted go thru... rainie

    payment of sins

dear one, thoes scriptures have nothing to do with our salvation and god's forgiving our sins,, they are about the consequenses one experiences if we don't put into play gods precepts.... gods forgivness of sin does not give us license to live however we want to in that if we live outside of gods ways we will have neg. consequences ..that's why god's set up some perimiters for us humans... and god also gives us the freedom to choose whom we are going to serve. rainie
