I will end by saying I have my beliefs and you have yours. I cant make you believe what I believe. and you cant make me believe what you do. IF I dont stop looking at these psosts I am gonna go crazy. YOU DONT HAVE ABSOLUTE TRUTH. and neither do I. We have faith in what we believe. We have faith that the bible is the word of god. I am not sure if I said it correctly but. I am going to go to a board that believes that not all christians believe the same.. and that when some one disagrees with their belief... they dont say well if you dont believe the bible the way I see itlll then you are ignoring gods word... To all those telling me that I need to obey what the God says. The bible reveals gods word. So that means if you do not obey this following scripture you are not obeying Gods will and you are ignoring Gods law just as you believe the homosexuals to be. Now remember this verse is crystal clear and there is no way you can change it or say it is not so. Matthew 5:29-30 (New International Version) 29If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. 30And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell. I am dieing to hear your comments on what I am saying.

I dont think I will post here any more. I believe the bible reveals gods word. I believe the bible does not condemn all forms of same sex behaivor. Thats what I have to live by. I am gonna find a some message board where people are able to believe what they believe scripture to tell them with out people telling them they are not listening to what God wants. I believe you have to look at the bible as a whole. and not point out one or two pieces of scripture.

The important question is how does God expect us to understand the bible? What is the truth when we differ in understanding? We are not to argue on disputable things. Things that are not important overall. What is and isnt sin is important. I dont want to argue either, but some issues are important enough to discuss. I see nothing wrong with dicussing. But its when people use anger. and when people seem to tell others the way they view scripture is wrong. Thats what I dont understand. I believe that God does not condemn a same sex couple if they are in a loveing, careing, monogamous, lifetime comitmedded relationship. What is so evil about two people careing for eachother and saying. Hey I am not gonna run out and fornicate with every one i see. Isent the law summed up as loveing God and Others. How is being in a loveing committed relation ship, not loving God and others. If some one believes the God does not condemn the comitted relation ship between same sex couples and there view comes from their study of scripture. Then why should the drop their beliefs and go with what others tell them to believe.

This part of your post caught my eye for some reason..... Yeshua said He didn't come to do away with the Law but to fulfill it. When we are saved we are free from the Law. This does not mean that we can now kill, steal and conduct an adulterous life. It means we are not under the death penalty for sin. We all sin and yet have eternal life through being redeemed by the amazing sacrifice of Yeshua's life. The law applies to anyone who is under the law, that is, anyone who is NOT saved. IMHO Blessings I believe many laws were done away with. We each understand the bible differently. From my reading and studying the bible I come to believe that homosexuality is not a sin. I know allot of people dont agree and I have no problem with that. I dont know whay people keep telling me THIS IS THE WAY IT IS. and they tell me how it is. Why must we debate. Now I agree with dialogue. Dialogue is stating what you believe or what you believe scripture to say. Debate is saying THIS IS THE WAY IT IS and it ARGUES instead of SHARES... I hope that makes sence. Yes I absolutely agree with you: We should be sharing and discussing, NOT arguing. The whole topic of homosexuality is not clear for me and so I am now studying it through various resources. I agree that we each understand the bible differently. The way I understand it, there is ONE TRUTH, which I am not clear about at many points. That is why I find the need to discuss and study. I find this discussion here, for instance, very educating, whether I agree or not with opinions expressed here. I have studied with Chabad (Orthodox Jews) and with Jehovah's witnesses and find it only strengthens the way I see Truth. On this note I must thank you for being here at all. Would you state that practicing open and unrepentant rebellion against God and His Word fulfilled in Christ in the act of Homosexuality is to obey God? Peace, Dave ******** I am not sure what ur asking. I am a bit slow. All I can say is that I Study the bible and pray for the holy spirit to lead me. I do not believe the bible condems LOVEING, Life Time Committted , monagomaus same sex relationships. I read the passages and look at them clostly, I also look at the history of the time when they were written to see what was going on in that time. I am a HUGE believer in finding out the correct meanings of the original greek. I also believe that if the old testimate laws are not found in the new testimate that they do not apply to us today. I have to live my life the way I believe the bible tells me. I cant go on others interpertation of scripture. I have to live by MY interpertation of scripture. If I studyed and prayed and came to the conclusion that homosexuality is sin. THEN I would have to repent. I pray for those who say being gay and christian is a oxymoron. Because they do not know the relationship I have with christ. AND to the sodom and gomorrah comment. LOOK at the wway it was written. These were people who RAPED and were sex crazed. There was a new testimate scripture that talks of the SINS of sodom and gomorrah. In this time gay people never were in lasting . monogamous relationships. SAME SEX ACTIVITY was only known to be as orgies and in most places pedastry was tollerated, and to himulate and demean some one.

Sorry, I was not aware of that rule. The bible makes it clear that when our right arm or eye causes us to sin we should cut it off. I dont see this as literally cutting out our eyes or cutting off our hand. There are many ways to look at scripture. Romans 1:21-32...... First you cant just read 1:26-27it takes it out of context. 21-32 goes with it. I believe , and I understand you probally will not agree, that These were people who knew God. But chose not to worship or give glory to him. They turned to Idol worship. I believe they turned to pagons. (Romans 1:21-23) . They turned to sexual impuritys, isee this as same sex sexual impurities because the same sex activitys come in at versus 26-27. (ROMANS 1:24) (Romans 1:25) is another turning from the true God to Idol worshiping verse. (Romans 1:26-27) is the biggie. Read clostly.These were hetero sexuals leaving hetro sexuality. Also This was a orgie. Many pagons have same sex(and other types of) ritual orgieies. This is what I believe it is. Same sex ritual orgies made to there Idols. This is not describing GLBT people like me. Who are waiting untill commitment untill they make love. (Romans 1:28-32) these people are giving into allot of evil things. I wasent aware of the posting youtube link rule. I got a headache so sorry I cant type down exactly what I believe. Coz its long. It also goes into what I understand the greek words to mean. And looks at the passages that condemn TYPES of same sex incounters.

I would first like to say I am a christian who has acceppted that I am gay. I knew I was gay before I knew what gay was (if that makes sence). I am proud to say I am a virgin, I have never taken illegal drugs (Only meds given by doctor), and I have never touched alchaol. WOW that just flushes what Pat Robertson , James Dobson, and the christian right says about gays ,down the toilet. I am not the only open homosexual who lives like I do. I am not the only gay person with a sence of some morallity. One day I may be with a man. But, I am a strong believer that GLBT people should go by sex and marriage the way straights should go. Being married(or equivolent) , committedm, monogamous, loveing, honest, equel, and bringing no harm or sexual exploitation to either person in the relationship. There is no GAY LIFESTYLE. I hate that term. Many view the gay lifestyle as SEX CRAZED, druggies, alchoholics, and mollest little children. There are straight people who are sex crazed, drug addics, alcholoics and molest children. These are horrible things. I am gay and these things are not a part of my life. When we hear of straight people doing these why dont we say people need to leave the straight lifestyle. OR OH MY Goodness!!! there is a man and woman holding hands. RUN!!!! HIDE# THE KIDS!!! what I am trying to say is," ONES SEXUAL ORIENTATION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ONES BEHAVIOR." I am living proof of that. We christians interperate the bible differently. I hope we can all agree with that. Even though we cannot all agree that being gay is not a sin. I hope we can all agree that we need to come together extending Gods love to every one.
