  1. Thank you Littlelambseativy for posting this. I have not posted on Worthy for quite a while, but Ron Graham was my husband. He had been very ill for a long time. He loved Jesus. His joy was to serve our Lord in any way he could, and he felt so blessed to be used to write commentaries which were carried on many websites. He served Jesus to the end, and I know he is with Him now. My heart is aching and I miss him more than I can say, but his pain is passed and his healing is complete. <>< ><> Nathele
  2. You were gone JUST KIDDING!!! You were missed and I'm glad you are back. <>< ><> Nathele
  3. My heart goes out to you . To one extent or another everyone puts up a front to hide what's going on inside. Your sadness and emptiness is all magnified because you went through so much. I know you loved your husband and that the two of you went through many trials, but had many good times. There comes a time after someone we love dies that we have to move on. I don't mean to forget him or anything like that. But you have to realizze that you are not being disloyal to him if you date and come to love another man. Your husband had accepted Christ so you know that he is happy. Now you need to move forward. You aren't helping him by making yourself miserable. You have a loving heart and have so much to give. You can find love again and you deserve it. Since you have graduated and have time on your hands could you fill your time volunteering in a retirement center or something similar? Can you find a hobby and join with others who share that interest? Those are just a couple of ideas. But the idea is to start re-building your life. If you are able to read your Bible, do it. If you are able to go to church now, do it and get involved. Letting go of the past is not disrespecting your husband. Move forward. <>< ><> Nathele
  4. Excellent point, Nebula <>< ><> Nathele
  5. Just a note -- sometimes they are a little behind in posting the commentaries there, so if you ever want to be on his mailing list, just email him...or let me know. You will never get any anoying spam and we don't sell the list. I just wanted you to know. The advantage is that you get them sent to you early. For instance, people on his list received "Space - the Final Frontier" last Friday, but it still isn't up on the web! Anyway, that's just a thought. <>< ><> Nathele
  6. Well, wyguy, I do read him some of your posts....and you make him laugh! 2joyful....I don't know if everybody at Worthy knows that Ron Graham is my husband, but I sure hope that nobody here are the ones who send him the angry emails <>< ><> Nathele
  7. Thanks for posting this! Ron Graham is my husband and he has received so many responses from this commentary...some bring tears to my eyes. When he writes his commentaries he is truly guided by the Holy Spirit. By the way, ignore any gramatical or puncuation errors - I'm his editor. <>< ><> Nathele
  8. Oops...I hadn't looked at the date . Well, maybe someone else might need to read these replies. <>< ><> Nathele
  9. I think that the Holy Spirit is trying to get your attention and get you right with God. Sooorowdy, Wicca is not good...not good at all. Yes, it may seem like there is no harm in it, but seeing people who aren't really there isn't good. We all have choices in this life and making choices based on God's word is the way a person needs to live. Going to church won't save you, but accepting Christ will. Too often people put off accepting Christ thinking that after they have "fun" they will get serious about religion. Well, first of all accepting Christ should bring on a relationship with Him...not religious works. Next you need to understand that the choice of where you will spend eternity lies with you -- the choice is yours but you do not want to spend eternity separated from God. That is where Wicca will send you. Christ loves you and He gave His life for You. Going to church with your parents isn't all bad. Maybe, just maybe, you need to focus on Christ and what He did rather than being unhappy because you might have to dress nice. Instead of listening to your cousins, listen to God. Read your Bible. Study your Bible. Invite your cousins to go to church with you and all of you need to turn away from Wicca. God loves you, Heather. Turn to Him and away from the occult. <>< ><> Nathele
  10. I'm confused, too. Can you explain you concern a little bit more? <>< ><> Nathele
  11. My husband writes commentaries that are carried on various websites. One of his most recent ones is entitled "American Sharia" and if anyone is interested in reading it here is a link: http://www.raptureready.com/featured/graham/g118.html He has received many emails about this, but one of the interesting things is that the man who runs this site has gone out on the web to see where it has been picked up or talked about. He found very few Christian sites talking about it, but many Muslim sites talking about it and laughing at it. Hmm...that's food for thought. <>< ><> Nathele
  12. I've had a few strange things, and yes I have heard voices. Nothing major, but just things that make me go "Hmmm.....". But I do have a question for you. Did you get any confirmation that this was actually her thoughts? You didn't turn around to see if she was watching you leave. Have you talked with her since then and had anything to confirm that the thoughts were hers? I know you said that the words were in her voice, but coud it have been something else? <>< ><> Nathele
  13. I love that, JamiLea!!! I am going to have to do that to my husband! <>< ><> Nathele
  14. We all grow in our walk with our Lord. It is obvious that the Holy Spirit is leading you in discernment. God will help you with the next step. I understand the "trapped" feeling. My husband and I have had to leave a couple of churches because of doctrine issues, but it is never easy. We still love those who we attended those churches with and are still friends with them, but when the teaching is wrong and the pastor won't listen, it's time to move on. Do pray and also study your Bible (reading it is good, but studying it is better). God will lead you. <>< ><> Nathele
  15. I can't believe I read the whooollle thing! They are so right on - sad but true. <>< ><> Nathele
  16. It is never easy to leave a church family, but you need to be more concerned about sound doctrine rather than hurt feelings. Pray about it, but my advice is to find a Christ centered, Bible believing church. I looked at the website, and there were things there I would be uncomfortable with. <>< ><> Nathele
  17. OK, all you very rich and afluent people here on Worthy. Toaster ovens are wonderful!!!! My daughter loves French fries and fish sticks. Three or four times a day she was heating up the oven, forgetting that she heated it, eventually coming back and sticking her food in, taking it out after it was cooked, forgetting to turn the oven off. I only saw $$$$$. So, she works at Wal-Mart so I told her to go check out the toaster ovens. She was offended, but did it. She got a very inexpensive one (under $40) and what we have saved in electricity is wonderful. Also, it doesn't heat up the house like the big oven does, so in summer that's a plus. So, to Nebula for being one smart cookie. As far as cleaning them, I don't have any great suggestions -- maybe put a small pan of water in there and let it steam for a while to loosen the splatters? <>< ><> Nathele
  18. These books can confuse anyone, especially someone who is new to Christ. If you church is focusing on these books more than the Bible, you need to speak with your pastor and ask him why. Christ needs to be the center of worship, and the Bible is the authority. I would suggest that you pray about this, then speak to your pastor and challenge him to study what the Bible has to say about these things. Then you study too. It may be that you need to find a new church. It is worrisome when any book other than the Bible is used as authority. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or whether out of the body I do not know, God knows--such a one was caught up to the third heaven. And I know such a man--whether in the body or out of the body I do not know, God knows--how he was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. Of such a one I will boast; yet of myself I will not boast, except in my infirmities. 2 Corinthians 12:12-5 Most believe that Paul was talking about himself here. Notice the part I made bold. If it was not lawful for Paul to talk about what he saw then why would anyone? As far as people going to Hell, well that just can't be. Those who have not accepted Christ are still awaiting final judgment. They aren't really "in Hell" right now. They are in Hades. Read in Luke chapter 16 about the rich man and the beggar Lazarus. Lazarus died and was carried to Abraham's Bosom, but the rich man died and went to the torment side - Hades. These people are not in a pleasant place, but their judgment and real Hell is yet to come for them. Take a look at the website http://www.gotquestions.org. They have quite a few very good answers on this subject. <>< ><> Nathele
  19. You always find such interesting things to share! Thanks Nebula. There sure are a lot of craters on Mars....looks like it's been hit a lot. <>< ><> Nathele
  20. They just had so much misinformation on me. An old address, my husband and daughter weren't listed as living with me, but my step-daughter who lived with us for a few months (along with her husband and 2 children) was listed. None of my hobbies were right, it said I was in middle management, when in fact I have never been any sort of manager. My husband is listed as living where we moved from 5 years ago. Very strange. <>< ><> Nathele
  21. That is strange! There was no picture of my home and they got most of the information wrong, but I don't like this. <>< ><> Nathele
  22. Spring has definately sprung. I have daffodils blooming, too, but I think that is just because the chickens haven't found them yet. Lousy chickens. It has been warm most of the week, here, but the temperature has really plunged today...well, last night. We don't have snow, but a friend said she talked to her son who lives in another part of Missouri and he told her that he measured 9 inches of snow in his back yard and it was still coming down. My, my, my. <>< ><> Nathele
  23. The articles on the Temple Institute are all so encouraging. It seems as if they are looking for the Creator, the Redeemer, and it sounds so much like they are really looking for Christ. But He already came as the Servant. Another Jewish site I go to gives a description of Messiah and it sounds exactly like anti-Messiah. It's really sad. From what I read they are ready to construct the Temple (it's supposedly being "pre-fabbed"). I don't think it would be a problem to sacrifice the heifer and save the ashes. I may be wrong, but just what I have studied I think that is OK. The heifer has to be 3 years old, or 4 at the outside. The requirements for not being yoked are very strict - she can't even have had anyone lean on her, but it OK for her to be tied if it is a matter of health (giving her medicine, etc). It's all very exciting. <>< ><> Nathele
  24. I copied this from the article on the Temple Institute website: The Tenth Red Heifer Will be Prepared by the Messiah In recounting this historical record in his commentary to the Mishna, the great Maimonides ends with the enigmatic statement: "... and the tenth red heifer will be accomplished by the king, the Messiah; may he be revealed speedily, Amen, May it be God's will." With this amazing statement, Maimonides recounts an ancient tradition - that the tenth red heifer is associated with the Messianic era. Does this perhaps mean that the appearance of a red heifer in these waning end times is an indication, a forerunner of the appearance of the Messiah himself, who will officiate at its preparation? If there has been no red heifer for the past 2,000 years, perhaps it is because the time was not right; Israel was far from being ready. But now... what could it mean for the times we live in, to have the means for purification so close at hand? With the words of Maimonides in mind, we cannot help but wonder and pray: If there are now red heifers... is ours the era that will need them? It's an interesting article to read. <>< ><> Nathele
  25. Those poor unfortunate people. My heart really goes out to them. <>< ><> Nathele
