  1. Does the presence of Pelosi and others of her ilk, embolden or even ceate persons like Mahmoud? Only my opinion; she and others that fracture this country are more dangerous. Copy from piece: Liberal of the Month: September 2007 Its a tie! Each sprinting to the finish in the last few days of the month. Some people were surprised to see Ahmadinejad included. However, due of the startling similarities in talking points, our panel of subjective judges were forced to acknowledge not only Ahmadinejad, but bin Laden as well. "It's uncanny how liberals and radical Islamists speak from the same playbook," one judge told RL. Congratulations Nancy & Madmood! 2. He waved his finger and articulated how he (via allah) is justified in destroying others. A clear point that seems to have eluded the veiled eyes and ears of the talking-heads.
  3. No liberal?! With a ballerina's grace and the weight of an elephant she comes down on the end of the teeter-totter that launch's a generation of liberals toward the strata they now claim. She's to self-worship what Paul is to us! Discuss... Hi & nice to see your reply. Rand was pivotal to my thinking to say the least. Schrugged was heavy for me too. Read or skimmed most of her work. Her collaboration with Nathaniel Brandon was the last I read before launching my own stardom. Talk about living in "opposite world" --- the Lord laid it out to me after 'I' was removed from the center of my life. Now, did you say something about "she's no liberal?" If you have a case, please present. In the meantime, I'm off to find a good photo of Achmedinijad. He joins Pelosi (a tie) for Liberal of the Month. Don't ya love what she's done with her face? Talk soon. mchallen
  4. Hey -- Recovered Liberal here. Participated in my first protest at 11 over freeway development. The last overt demonstration was voting for Gore in 2000. Ayn Rand was my guiding light. Freud, Darwin, Mead, & Kinsey; all heroes. Got the picture? I was a blue-blooded liberal. Never ever could I have scripted the epiphanies/revelations that came to me when Christ came into my life. Point here is that liberals are near and dear to me and I don't like seeing them suffer and/or continue to make (Sad footnote is friends and family alike gave me the heave-hoe as soon as they heard anything about becoming a Christian.) So I
  5. I appreciate this discussion much. With the information at our fingertips, the Global Warming subject is easily understood. Trudging through the data provided by both sides of the scientific community, combined with historic behavior of societies, makes for an interesting dance. Some of us are going to waltz through this and some of us will 'two-step' off a cliff. If I didn't have God's lead to follow the GW issue would be inciting a riot somewhere in me. Causing tension much like its authors intended. Very happy to have found Worthy Boards. mchallen
