    Daniel 8:23

Yes, AC's background is Aramaic (Assyrian) and he's a Semite as are all Arabs. That's also pertaining to his ancestry line - his nationality/place of domicile will point to Egypt....when the late Anwar Sadat made peace with Israel then, he became the prototype of the AC. That verse Isaiah 19:4 (with the surrounding context) is a somewhat 'relatively hidden' prophecy of who he'll be, where he is coming from. Bibilcal prophecies can sometimes be only specifically revealed by the Holy Spirit, not by man's reasonings/wisdom. God bless.

    Daniel 8:23

I'd like to take the opportunity here to say to the Board that I've been reading some posts, and would just like to lay out in the open - That we all agree that we are NOT comparing each other's intelligence (God forbid! ).

    Daniel 8:23

Greeting J3B, Speaking for myself, I'd say thanx from the bottom of my heart for the above important contribution/link you've shared with us as your very first post! I would like to refer you to:- Instead of Jewish there, he could be Aramaic, a Semite, for Daniel also says he will have no regard for the gods of his father, etc. What do you think? Again that was a great, interesting read! God bless.
  6. First off, I have edited the above post. I just wish to add quickly here that as you all know, in the main, Biblical prophecies are given for the edification of the body of Christ and that much has been hidden previously in order not to alert Satan and man who would wreck God's ordained plans for the future. And so I wish to ask that if the Wrath of God is supposed to be poured out AFTER the 1000 years and we are going to be literally living/abiding/ruling with God for that duration, why could not God then tell us in details about this Wrath during the 1000 years when we are dwelling with Him on a renewed earth? Why is this God's Wrath, indicated by the Trumpets/Vials in Revelation, so vividly described at length therein (esp. in comparison with the New Jerusalem/Millennium Kingdom of God) if it isn't because it would be administered as God's Judgment during the last 3 1/2 years of the last 7 years? How do you suppose 'Mystery Babylon' be destroyed without this Wrath of God now before He establishes His earthly Kingdom lasting a 1000 years? God bless all.
  7. Thanx Shad for your speedy replies. The AC, while carrying out as "guarantor of ISRAELS

    Mathew 24

Hi there, It's written for Jews and Gentiles alike!
  10. Greetings to the above posters, Hate to interject like this, like ramming my mid-trib (post-trib, pre-wrath) position down people's throat, but I feel pressed by the Holy Spirit, like He's impressing upon me to stress on this:- We are not subject to "judgments and plagues for the last 31/2 years", as rightly described by godrulz, but should truly be called the Wrath of God, as opposed to naming this period as the Great Tribulation. God says we are not appointed to [His] wrath, but we are so, to Satan's wrath with believers/saints given into the hands of the Antichrist for the 1st 31/2 years. After that 1st 3 1/2 years or so of being subjected to AC's persecution, we'll be raptured, making our great escape from God's wrath. And immediately after our being raptured to heaven, we will receive our rewards from God!
  11. Happy Chinese New Year to you, Hillson! I hear that in China, instead of calling it the Year of the Goat, some call it the Year of the Sheep while others name it Year of the Ram? That's just fascinating, isn't it? God bless.
  12. 1. - If we check out Zech Chaps 12, 13 and 14, we will discern that Zech 13:8,9 can allude to the period of Jacob's Trouble which will only occur during the second half of Daniel's 70th Week (or last 7 years of this age). A text lifted out of its context and applied to past historical events in order to say it's fulfilled prophesies, is a pretext! 2. - Yes, they are returning to the land; even so not many of them are calling upon Jesus' name or acknowledging that the Lord [Jesus] is their God; so not many are Messianic...they are yet to be redeemed, being either secular or Othodox in their beliefs. 3. - Nevertheless, history will repeat itself....that's the essence of some Biblical verses that point to certain great prophetic events...they are repeated! Hence, if we continue Zech 13 verses 8,9 on to its entirety, especially connect these 2 verses with Zech 14 verse 2, we will discover that out of the one-third who are left in the land (or in the Jerusalem city), who are being refined... one-half of this one-third will go into exile (or be captured), the other half of this one-third will not be taken from the city (or be cut off). Thus, it's a prophesy that awaits fulfilment when this one-half of the one-third (who escape death) will go on to Christ's Millennium (Zech 14:6-11) after God has done with all the nations warring against Him at the Battle of Armageddon (Zech 14:3) which occurs after or at the end of the last 7 years. The Bible is its own best commentary! God bless.
  13. Hey RT, What's rolling? (read: how your doing?!) I really like what you said there... Amen to that. This is not really in response to your post, but I wish to quote ALL the below excellent points that I read, concerning what John saw just before God pours out the last 7 plagues: And I saw what looked like a sea of glass mixed with fire and, standing beside the sea, those who had been VICTORIOUS over the beast and his image and over the number of his name. They held harps given them by God. - Rev 15:2 Quote John saw these people SAFE!
  14. Greetings, Please allow me to share and reiterate various things below:-
  15. Hey, whassup Doc? (Sorry, couldn't resist saying that! Hehe!) How are you doing? Been going thru' some trials but otherwise, PTL, I'm doing fine here. Thanks! Gotta let you know I've made certain amendments to my above post. Catch you around in this forum. Love, Peace and Joy always.
  16. Hi everyone, Just a re-cap of my previous posts - the following points for ya'll to ponder (though it's partly in response to Bro Ben's post):- 1.
  17. rolling, hi You know, I've read bout a certain someone who used to teach pre-trib for 25 years until post-trib, pre-wrath (mid-trib) was proven unto her and imagine how she had to just about renew her mind with regards to all her previous thinking.
  18. Hi all in Christ! http://www.solagroup.org/articles/endtimes/et_0019.html Some of you may already have come across it but I thought I'd provide the above link for the following article which I find very good, comprehensive and an edifying read (it's w/o charts, so please click on that link for the charts) with regards to a Pre-Wrath position, differing rather slightly from my Mid-trib position:- End Time Charts By Gary Vaterlaus & Scott Holmgren Rapture Positions Compared This chart provides a simple comparison of the four general positions that are taken in reference to the timing of the Rapture in relation to Daniel's 70th Week - the seven-year period at the bottom. Both the Pretrib and Prewrath positions have question marks that indicate that there is no fixed time for when the Rapture will occur. Midtrib places the Rapture at the halfway mark, or three-and-a-half years from the beginning of the 70th Week. Posttrib fixes the Rapture at the completion of the seven-year period. Click here to get more detailed information on the Rapture positions as well as Millennial Positions. Daniel's 70th Week This chart diagrams Daniel's 70th Week as described in Daniel 9:27: "And he [the "prince who is to come," i.e. the beast or Antichrist, in v. 26] will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate." "The middle of the week" refers to the mid-point of the seven-year period. Since a prophetic year is 360 days, half of seven years, or three-and-a-half years, equals 1260 days or forty-two months. Several other passages confirm that forty-two month timeframe after the covenant is broken: Daniel 12:7b "
  19. Let me add my 2 cents:- Before Israel was born in 1948, that land was kept desolate by the providence of God.
  20. Rollin hi Thanx for what you shared is very :thumb: and interesting.
  21. Dr Luke, hi I've just made a post on the Prophecy topic. Also I would like to address a little bit regarding the 4 horsemen in Rev Chap. 6 (the seals) whereby Jesus also mentioned about in Matt Chap 24, and a few other things...but some other time as I gotta go now. I'll be back soon. God bless.
  22. (I've deliberately left the following by the book's author, until now. Before you read further, please understand that we are fellow believers in God, brothers and sisters in Christ, who is a Lover of our souls, calling us the "Beloved" and is not ashamed to confess us before His Father. And that all things shared are useful as we are sincerely striving, learning from each other and from all kinds of avenues/resources). QUOTE ...the structure of Daniel's 70th Week was revealed to me by Jesus Christ who came to my study table, reached out to my chart of Daniel's 70th Week, divided in the middle, and placed His finger on the line dividing the Week and said, "You assessed correctly, that is when I am coming." Then I responded, "But Lord, why didn't You reveal this to me weeks ago? I've spent hundreds of hours making this determination." Jesus replied, "You could have never taught it then!" It was first revealed to me through the Bible which I believed unwaveringly; then confirmed supernaturally. UNQUOTE The author also says that most of us desire to know Him only in the "power of His resurrection, but not in the fellowship of His sufferings." The unpopular truth is that "we are not only to believe on Him, but also to suffer for His sake."
