I understand what you're saying here, Brian. We should not allow ourselves to get carried away with what we feel is justice due to folks like that. When it comes to tallying up the score, Jesus, the rightful judge, will deal with all wrong doers! I know we cannot be silent; we need to tell folks to be wary about such things, to be careful, to check out things before they get involved. But... we need to do it in away that is representative of Jesus, as a caring people, not as a lynch mob,... otherwise we kinda lose our own testimony! Blessings~

Hiya AHB22, I just thought I'd go through your original post and talk about a few of the things you mentioned..... I have started to feel very lost with my walk with god it has never been a very strong walk but i have always believed in god. If you don't know much about God... You need to get into his word and learn about him. Its hard to feel or be close to someone you don't know. (He speaks to you through his holy words in the Bible.) i do feel deep in my heart that he is there and loves me but i don't know what direction he wants me to go in. at the same time i'm also afriad to go in the direction he might point me in i'm scared what he might ask of me. He'll never leave you or forsake you. Pray and ask him (the direction he wants you to go in,--he won't put you, or send you in a place that you would not be able to handle). i have a strong desire to have a walk with him but at the same time it scares the crap out of me. i find it hard to hear his voice on top of that i am finding it hard to have someone that can relate to me. There is nothing to fear in Christ Jesus. If you don't hear his voice, perhaps you're not listening! Sometimes he points the way to something by the means of another way, i.e., through a scripture (that by chance you just happen to be reading), sometimes it comes through another Christian friend (unsolicited) there are many other ways God reaches out to folks. i feel like the devil has really been putting the screws to me i feel singled out depressed and mad all the time. Yup, the devil is out there messin' with folks heads. He uses our "particular problems" as a weapon, to keep us from God i.e., "If you only hand someone who cared for you...or if you were financially better off, you wouldn't have so many problems...!" He knows all the tricks to mess with your head! i feel very lost and i'm not sure what to do i have talked to my pastor but i'm not very comfortable with him. i'm just not sure what i should be doing i try to get up and get into the word but its hard to do i just feel very lost and don't know what i should do If you can't talk to your pastor, seek out different pastor! Or... seek advice from a Christian friend. Don't keep quiet!-- at church, drop a prayer request about your needs in the offertory plate. Also, keep praying yourself.... and pray without ceasing! For studying God's word, or making it more interesting..... I use the "Read Through the Bible In One Year." You can also get the companion guide book that goes with it, to study what you are reading and have read! Hang in there sweetie and remember JESUS DOES LOVE YOU!
