Yeah that was pretty incredible. After watching those movies I looked up some of Todd White's youtube videos. Sone of his testimonies are pretty great.

I can see why you would think that, but it doesn't actually have anything to do with the Holy Spirit dying. It's about being led by the spirit and allowing Gods love to flow out of you. Anyone whos heart breaks for the lost should watch these movies.

Absolutely! I was in tears watching the underground church in china. They were so hungry for God and many people here can barely get out of bed for one hour a week.

Has anyone seen this movie or the other four that Darren Wilson has made: Furious Love, Father of Lights, Holy Ghost and Holy Ghost Reborn? If so whats your opinion on them, I feel like they were quite eye opening for me. I'm interested in what other believers think of these.

I seem to run into two different stances on this subject. Then there are those that say when you become saved, you desire the things that God desires and you want the things that God wants. You no longer seek provision for the flesh but rather try to do the will of God. It is still possible for you to sin, however it is not something you seek out nor do you dive head first into sin, rather you stumble. You then would stand up, dust yourself off and continue your walk with Christ. I think if it was possible to ever live your life sinless, then Paul would not have wrote about how he struggled with sin in the book of Romans when he said Romans 7:15-19 NIV I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. Is this just the war between the flesh and the spirit? If it wasn't for the book of Romans I feel like many people, including myslef, would be left hopeless and constantly questioning their salvation. I pose another question as well, if sanctification is never fully complete until we receive our glorified bodies, then will we always struggle with sin?

This came up in another thread and I think this reply fits here as well Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith. It is something a christian should do in obedience to Christ. I think if someone is a true born again Bible believing Christian they will desire to be baptized. I do not believe that baptism is necessary for salvation because that would take away from the cross. Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. I would just like to add one last thing. If water baptism was a necessity for salvation, that is, it was required to be saved, then Jesus would have been made a liar when he told the thief on the cross next to him that he would be in heaven. Am I missing the mark on this?

I feel that this is a sad but yet wonderful story. The situation that these people live in is truly terrible but your ministering and your actions act as a beacon of hope for these people. Living God's Word to the fullest is definitely a powerful tool in leading one to Christ. I pray for your protection as well as the children and families that surround you. May God bless you and raise up these tiny children as instruments of his righteousness.

Wow, 45 years! Thats wonderful, im going on 6 myself. I agree that it is important for the person to attend a Bible believing church. However how would they know what kind of church he should go to if he is not saved? Whats to stop him from finding a church that would fit his agenda? IMO I dont think the sinners prayer is necessary. I believe people can be led to Christ, repent, and fully trust Jesus with their salvation without reciting the sinners prayer. However if someone is truly repentant and they understand whay they are saying in the sinners prayer and it brings them to Christ, then HALLELUJAH!!

When witnessing to someone or doing a little open air preaching, what methods do you use to springboard yourself into the gospel? I personally prefer to witness to someone one on one. I find that when doing this the person is much more honest with thier answers and is more likely to respond to the gospel, even if I may never see it. Plus, with one on one, its less likely for the topic to get derailed, IMO. I firmly believe in giving the law to the proud and grace to the humble. The reason being this, How can someone appreciate the grace of Jesus Christ, who died on the cross, when they're not even fully convinced that there a sinner in need of that grace. Romans 5:20 KJV Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: When a sinner examines himself honestly using the 10 Commandments, it causes their sin to abound. This in turn makes grace really abound. For example: If I were to walk up to someone and hand them a vial of liquid and say here's a cure for your disease, they would look at me like I was nuts and probably be offended that I'm insinuating that they have a disease that they don't believe they have. However if I take the time to explain to them that I can see 10 signs and symptoms of this terrible disease they have and they become convinced that they have it, then when I offer them the cure, they're gracious and happy to receive it. Why would someone accept a cure for a disease they don't believe they have? I don't believe they will until they are convinced of the disease itself.

Let me make a comparison here to the mentally handicapped and a small child. A newborn baby that dies goes to heaven. There is evidence for this ib the following 2 Samuel 12:21-23 KJV Then said his servants unto him, What thing is this that thou hast done? thou didst fast and weep for the child, while it was alive; but when the child was dead, thou didst rise and eat bread. And he said, While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me. This shows that David had an understanding that the child was in heaven and that he would one day be with him. This is evidence for the age of accountability. Just like a child, I believe that many mentally handicapped people also fit into this category since so many have the mind of a child.

I think the real issue here is not that you'll be lonely in heaven, but your motives for becoming a Christian. Let me give you an example. Two men are seated on a plane. The first is given a parachute and told to put it on, as it would improve his flight. He’s a little skeptical at first, since he can’t see how wearing a parachute on a plane could possibly improve his flight. He decides to experiment and see if the claims are true. As he puts it on, he notices the weight of it upon his shoulders and he finds he has difficulty in sitting upright. However, he consoles himself with the fact he was told that the parachute would improve his flight. So he decides to give it a little time. As he waits he notices that some of the other passengers are laughing at him for wearing a parachute on a plane. He begins to feel somewhat humiliated. As they continue to point and laugh at him, he can stand it no longer. He slinks in his seat, unstraps the parachute, and throws it to the floor. Disillusionment and bitterness fill his heart, because as far as he was concerned he was told an outright lie. The second man is given a parachute, but listen to what he is told. He’s told to put it on because at any moment he’ll be jumping 25,000 feet out of the plane. He gratefully puts the parachute on. He doesn’t notice the weight of it upon his shoulders, nor that he can’t sit upright. His mind is consumed with the thought of what would happen to him if he jumped without the parachute. Let’s now analyze the motive and the result of each passenger’s experience. The first man’s motive for putting the parachute on was solely to improve his flight. The result of his experience was that he was humiliated by the passengers, disillusioned, and somewhat embittered against those who gave him the parachute. As far as he’s concerned, it will be a long time before anyone gets one of those things on his back again. The second man put the parachute on solely to escape the jump to come. And because of his knowledge of what would happen to him if he jumped without it, he has a deep-rooted joy and peace in his heart knowing that he’s saved from sure death. This knowledge gives him the ability to withstand the mockery of the other passengers. My worry is this. Let's say you do become a Christian because of her. You will be turning to Christ for the wrong reasons and when you get exactly what is promised to all Christians which is trials, tribulations, persecution humiliation, you will fall away. What if at this time she decides to leave you? What if she dies before you? Suffering through loss is a hard task to take when you do not have a relationship with Jesus Christ. You can be certain of this though, eternity is a very real place and we will all come into it. However it will either be an eternity in heaven with our God or an eternity in hell without him. Think about this and be honest with yourself If you have told a lie, that makes you a liar. If you have ever stolen anything, that makes you a thief. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. Rev 21:8 (KJV) Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 1 Cor 6:10 (KJV) Jesus said that if you even lust after someone then you have committed adultery already within your heart. How many people can say that they have never had sexual desire for someone else. These are just three of God's laws he set in place. You may have your own standards for what you think a good person should be, but God has his own. According to his standards we have all fallen short. What people dont seem to understand about Jesus is that what happened on the cross was a legal transaction. We all broke God's law, Jesus paid our fine. All we have to do is accept it. You accept it by repenting and trusting Jesus. Repentance simply means to turn away from something. So turn away from all the bad things you have been doing, turn away from the things you know are wrong. Your conscience will bear witness to it. Humble yourself before God and confess your sins to him. He already knows them he just wants you to be accountable to them. Then trust Jesus with your salvation. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; Acts 3:19 (KJV) Here comes another parachute analogy! Say your in an airplane 50,000 feet above the earth and it begins to go down. The pilot throws you a parachute. You would put the parachute on, and trust that it would save your life from the jump to come. Thats the same kind of trust you need to have in Jesus. When you do that you will step out of death and into life. The Holy Spirit will change your heart and you will desire the things God desire's and want the things God wants. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 (KJV)

May I ask how much studying you have done on fasting? Do you know what you are going to go through? How about breaking a fast? Last, have you spoken to your doctor about this, not knowing what you physical health is? I ask because so many people jump into fasting on a good idea, and some end up seriously hurting themselves. I have not studied this extensively but from what I have read i feel like I know what to expect. I have learned how to break the fast and be safe in doing so. As far as seeing a doctor, I dont intend to do so. From my experience whats healthy can be very subjective. I'll just use prayer.

So my wife and I saw this great documentary entitled " Fat Sick and Nearly Dead". Being inspired by the film we have decided to embark on somewhat of an adventure. We are both going to spend 60 days starting on the 4th or 5th only drinking juice. I will be purchasing a juicer on thursday and am really looking forward to doing this. I have started a blog for it, anyone who wants to follow along with me is more then welcome to.
