cobalt, Your statements reflect your lack of study. 99.9% of all churches in America Have made a contract with the IRS replacing Jesus Christ as Rightful head of His Church. That contract also states that they have to have preacher-indoctrination which is absolutely destructive. You can accuse me of rude behavior all you want.

There is no reason for true Christians not to form house churches that function as a school of the Bible just like it was to start with. I know there are a few, but far too few! David Bercot at Scroll publishing sells a CD "The Spirit of Early Christianity" describing the life of TRUE followers. Plus many other excellent CDs on early Christianity. Bashing modern churches is not what I am about. I want a TRUE revival in American churches which means they need to REPENT!

In my opinion, and I am not alone, the falling away happened shortly before paganism was merged with christianity in the Roman Catholic Church. It has never ended but there has always been a remnant of true followers. Even when Martin Luther and his allies tried to reform the church, they still followed the practice of preacher-indoctrination instead of all church members participation in a school of the Bible which is what church is supposed to be. I am sorry, I get so passionate about dysfunctional churches, it's difficult for me to be tolerant when some one wants to defend these modern luke-warm churches that Jesus HATES.

cobalt1959 Perhaps you need to read my post again, or perhaps you need to turn on your brain? This is not church bashing. It is God's word of truth, pure and simple. How about why don't you take the lead, and do what the scripture says? REPENT! Then tell preachers to start following God's Word, get the IRS out and stop with the preacher-indoctrination, learn God's will and do it! Take away all those divisions/denominations. Church is supposed to be a school of the Bible not a place of entertainment. READ the Bible and follow it!!

Where planet earth came from and when, That Elohim, the only true God, created all things in the whole universe, that He is the only source of life, God's covenants with Israel, and what the future holds, are the main themes of the grandest story ever. God's character and attributes, and why our present life is so dysfunctional, is far more valuable and useful information than anything psychology has to offer. The Bible was given to us by God, it is not a creation of man. There has never been another book written that is such a challenge to truly understand or that is as reliably true. The Old testament was given to us in the Hebrew language and the New testament was given in Greek without one single error. Everyone who has seriously tried to prove there are errors has had to concede they were wrong. God does not make errors, period! If you like to be rewarded for your time spent reading and studying, read the Bible! The King James Version is not perfect but it is the best in English. You will also need the "Vine's Expository Dictionary"

If you will get the book "23 minutes in hell" by Bill Wiese you will understand what the Bible says. It is a true story about God gave a real experience/vision, he visited hell for real afterwards he was in total shock.

I think it should be very obvious that I am VERY disappointed with the "Christian churches" in America. There is one group who's background I am very impressed with, but every time I go to one of their churches it's just the same old worldly garbage. It is the Restoration Movement. Do a search www. and read their history! One man I am especially impressed with is David Bercot - check it out!! He has many CDs of him teaching and some of his books. I'm sorry I can't remember the name of his site.

The first human appearance of Jesus fulfilled over 300 prophesies, an absurd impossibility for any other than Jesus. The resurrection of Jesus is an impossibility except for Him only, and the evidence is recorded in secular history as well as in the Bible. Some of the religions of the world use the name christianity but they are counterfeits. If you read the history of Roman Catholicism, you will find out it is paganism. Jehovah Witness was founded by the occult and they follow their own counterfeit bible and doctrines. The Mormons also follow their own fabricated book and doctrines, not God's Word. Seventh Day Adventists do not follow God's Word. Every single denomination in America has been hijacked and it was all prophesied in God's Word.
