Intro: There are thread here on worthy, about the shape of the earth, space travel, hoaxes, moon landings and the like. A video was posted here recently, that rapidly deteriorated into insults and the like. Also, people express opinions which very greatly, and they are entitled to them, however few commenting had an inspiring demonstration of knowledge or expertise, just parroting of things learned on the web, often conspiracy sites. We all know that everything on the internet is true, just like Abraham Lincoln said. In order to prevent this posting from becoming another ugly and chaotic thread, it is locked from the beginning. If you want to debate about these things, you can do so in the threads designated on those topics in other places in the forums, this is not one of those. This video, can serve as a resources, a reference. In other words, sometimes it is difficult to explain things in words that others understand. With this video, a person in another thread can point to this video, and give a time stamp, (at 2 minutes 14 seconds for example) and say "this is what I am talking about. Enjoy, or optionally, find something useful to do instead!

Does the Hebrew translation of Genesis 1:1 leave the door open that God created life on other planets? From my Hebrew classes I always wondered about the plural designation of ”Na Shamayim” the word for Heavens. God created the Heavens and the Earth. This could have just as easily been written in the singular form – “Heaven” but the “im” at the end of the Hebrew word makes it plural.
