Luke 17:5 - "The apostles said to the Lord, Increase our faith." When you are praying for faith you are praying to believe. Either you believe or you don't believe. Such a prayer is really based on unbelief, and therefore it will not be answered. Faith comes and increases as we hear and believe the word and put it into practice. Romans 10:17 - "So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing, by the word of God." In Romans 10:6-8 Paul tells us, "the righteousness which is of faith speaketh...the word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth and in thy heart." Notice it's in your mouth first, then in your heart. Jesus confirms this in Luke 17:6. When the apostles asked Him to increase their faith, His answer was: "If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might SAYunto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you." He didn't say a thing about giving them more faith. He told them to plant their faith by "SAYING", and it would produce. 1 Corinthians 1:26,27 - "Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong." Affirmations: I CONFESS THAT I AM EXACTLY THE KIND OF PERSON GOD WANTS TO USE! MY HEART IS RIGHT; MY ATTITUDE IS WILLING; AND I DEEPLY DESIRE FOR GOD TO SHAPE ME TO BECOME A MIGHTY INSTRUMENT IN HIS HANDS. BECAUSE OF MY ATTITUDE AND WILLING HEART, GOD IS GOING TO USE ME MIGHTILY TO FURTHER HIS KINGDOM ON THIS EARTH! Song of Solomon 2:14 - "My dove, in the clefts of the rock, in the hollow of the wall, show me your face and let your voice sound in my ears; for your voice is sweet, and your face is lovely." YOU ARE HIDDEN IN HIS WOUNDS. THESE WOUNDS ARE CLEFTS IN THE LIVING ROCK. THE BRIDEGROOM (JESUS) ASKS TO SEE YOUR FACE. HE WANTS TO HEAR YOUR VOICE; AND YOU ARE INTERESTED IN NO ONE BUT HIM. YOUR FACE IS BEAUTIFUL, REFLECTING HIS. YOUR SPIRIT IS ALREADY FAIR AND BEAUTIFUL. ALBERT FINCH MINISTRY
