I couldn't vote because I believe that the generation that sees Israel restored to their land will also see the 2nd advent of the Lord. But this "return to the land" is not the one prophesied in the OT.

Let me understand this. Are you saying that the current return of Israel is not the restored Israel because they really have not claimed all their land?

I think the Rapture could happen at any time...there are no guide-posts...but I think the Second coming has numerous guide-posts such as the restoration of Israel and the building of the 3rd Temple etc.

No, not upset at all. I just think a lot of people think about it far too much, and it distracts from their plain everyday discipleship.

Either you're saved, or you're not. On the day of reckoning, knowing the "right" answer to this question isn't going to make a bit of difference.

Hmmm. But if a person thought it was way off in the future they might not feel burdened towards other lost souls.
