I discovered, much to my horror that they wouldn't accept or admit anyone who'd been divorced. I thought, "What does it matter if you're divorced prior to salvation?" We've all done a lot of heinous sins prior to salvation...Look at the Apostle Paul, who murdered and was a violent man. Or look at the prostitute or the adulteress. God gives us a clean start and new beginning, (Behold, thou art a new creation in Christ Jesus...). Some people continue to label and condemn others, even after God has forgiven them. Honey, it is disgusting and we're right to HATE the sin...but pray for the poor soul who lives in darkness...She doesn't know our Lord. There's so many like her who need Jesus in their lives.
